A Few Days Later.
It had been several days since Gilgamesh's battle against Kokabiel and his army. Following the event, the news spread throughout the supernatural world, further intensifying the desire of other factions to recruit him.
The truth was, the fact was quite shocking. Kokabiel was certainly not weak; he possessed the power of a Satan-class being, and his army was considered one of the most powerful in the heavens before his fall.
So, for Gilgamesh, a human, to defeat one of the Lords of the Grigori and his entire army without even moving from his spot or using his Longinus was something terrifying.
It goes without saying that the name Gilgamesh began to inspire even more fear in the supernatural world, as he was demonstrating why his ancestor was so feared.
Gilgamesh had also received a call from Azazel, who thanked him for preventing a new Great War but also complained that Gilgamesh had caused a significant loss to his faction by killing several of its members, making the Grigori even weaker.
Gilgamesh simply replied that he didn't care and that it wasn't his problem.
Gilgamesh also had a conversation with Gabriel and explained everything that had happened, and Gabriel was overjoyed that Gilgamesh was unharmed.
Gilgamesh also spoke with Sirzechs and Serafall when the two Maous discovered his identity as the Strongest Exorcist.
Sirzechs was very angry and worried, but he admitted that if it weren't for Gilgamesh, his sister would be dead. Surprisingly, Serafall supported Gilgamesh in this and told him not to hide anything anymore.
Gilgamesh also received offers to join the Grigori and the Underworld as an ally.
Azazel had used the fact that Gilgamesh killed dozens of his members as an excuse to try to get Gilgamesh to ally with the Grigori.
Gilgamesh didn't even pay attention and said it wasn't his problem.
As for the Underworld, Sirzechs and Serafall made offers, which Gilgamesh refused.
The King of Heroes had also met with Lavinia again, who, upon learning that her younger brother had fought Kokabiel, went to Gilgamesh's house to check if he was okay.
After much conversation, Lavinia was reassured and spent an entire day literally clinging to Gilgamesh's neck before returning to her home.
And that brings us to where Gilgamesh was at the moment.
In the student council room, it was possible to see Sona's entire peerage, along with Sona herself and Gilgamesh.
Sona was at her desk, drinking tea prepared by Tsubaki, while moving pieces on a chessboard she was playing on.
In front of her was Gilgamesh, who also held a teacup in his hands and was playing chess with Sona.
Sona's entire peerage was carrying out their respective duties while still paying attention to the conversation between Gilgamesh and Sona.
Sona's peerage currently consisted of eight members.
There was Sona, who was the [King] of the peerage, followed by Tsubaki, who was the [Queen].
Sona also had two [Bishops]. The first was Momo Hanakai, who had the appearance of a beautiful young woman with white hair and teal eyes. She primarily wore the Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform.
The second [Bishop] was Reya Kusaka, who had the appearance of a slender girl with long brown hair tied in two short braids and matching eyes. She also wore a blue headband.
Sona also had a [Knight] named Tomoe Meguri, who had the appearance of a beautiful girl with shoulder-length reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. Her hair featured swept bangs and a single strand sticking out from the top.
Sona also had a [Rook] named Tsubasa Yura, who had the appearance of a tall girl with shoulder-length blue hair and matching eyes. She had the typical tomboyish look.
And finally, Sona's peerage had a [Pawn], Saji Genshirou, who had consumed four pieces. He had the appearance of a young man with short blonde hair and gray eyes. He wore the Kuoh Academy boys' school uniform, though without the blazer and with the sleeves rolled up.
"I'm glad you came, Gilgamesh," said Sona as she moved a piece on the chessboard.
Gilgamesh smiled, causing Sona to blush slightly.
"You asked, and I came. So, what do you want?" said Gilgamesh as he moved another piece on the board.
"I'd like to thank you for saving us from Kokabiel," said Sona, with everyone nodding in agreement.
They knew that if it weren't for Gilgamesh, they would be dead by now.
More etched in their minds than the fear caused by Kokabiel was the overwhelming and undeniable power that Gilgamesh had demonstrated.
None of them could believe that Gilgamesh was so strong and was still the Strongest Exorcist.
The Strongest Exorcist was truly someone the Underworld feared. When the Church placed him on their side, both the Underworld and the Grigori were enveloped in fear.
Everyone had heard of his feats, of his power that could destroy entire armies with his fists, and of his mastery with a holy sword that transcended the mortal realm.
And what they saw against Kokabiel proved it, as Gilgamesh defeated Kokabiel's army without even moving, and when he did move, he killed the Lord of the Stars of the Grigori.
They were truly impressed by Gilgamesh's power, and the women were even attracted to it.
After all, power was an attraction for supernatural beings.
"It was nothing. I couldn't let him destroy the city I live in," said Gilgamesh to Sona.
"Even so, if there's anything you need, you can ask me," said Sona seriously to Gilgamesh.
"Actually, there is one thing," said Gilgamesh.
"What?" asked Sona.
"A girl who lives in my house, Le Fay. I'd like to enroll her in the school," said Gilgamesh to Sona.
Gilgamesh had talked with Arthur and Le Fay and offered her the chance to become a student at the Academy, so she could have a more normal life.
The girl accepted immediately.
"Very well, I'll do what I can," said Sona to Gilgamesh.
"Thank you, Sona," said Gilgamesh with a smile that made all the girls blush and caused Saji to curse handsome guys like Gilgamesh.
"By the way, I heard that the Durandal user has moved in with you," said Sona.
"That's true," replied Gilgamesh.
After the battle against Kokabiel, Xenovia went to Gilgamesh's house and asked to stay with him. When Gilgamesh asked why, she said she had lost her faith in the Church.
Gilgamesh welcomed Xenovia with open arms, and now the former exorcist had become part of his group.
One thing Xenovia mentioned was that Rias had offered her a place in her peerage, which Xenovia refused.
Gilgamesh would love to see Rias's face after Xenovia didn't join her peerage.
"I also heard that you somehow gave a Sacred Gear to Koneko," said Sona, surprising everyone in the room who didn't know Gilgamesh was capable of that.
"Yes, I did. Are you jealous, Sona?" asked Gilgamesh, causing Sona to blush before adjusting her glasses.
"It's not that," said Sona with a mumble.
"Well, it wasn't fair that I only gave a Sacred Gear to Rias's group. Let's fix that," said Gilgamesh, snapping his fingers.
Some golden ripples appeared around Gilgamesh, and several auras emerged from the portals, entering the members of Sona's peerage, except for Tsubaki and Saji.
All of them widened their eyes as they felt power coursing through their bodies.
"What did you do?" asked Sona curiously.
"I gave them Sacred Gears," said Gilgamesh, making everyone widen their eyes.
"I see, thank you, Gilgamesh. Would you mind telling us what they are?" asked Sona, expressing everyone's curiosity.
"Well, you'll have to figure that out on your own, since I gave more Sacred Gears to your group," said Gilgamesh, receiving nods from everyone.
"Hey, why didn't I get one?" asked Saji, annoyed.
"Because you already have one," said Gilgamesh, calming Saji down.
Gilgamesh turned his gaze to Tsubaki, who blushed when she felt his eyes on her.
"Well, for you, a Sacred Gear wouldn't be necessary since you already have one. So how about a weapon? From what I heard, you use a naginata," said Gilgamesh to her.
Tsubaki blushed slightly before nodding.
Gilgamesh extended his right hand, and a blue flame appeared, slowly taking the shape of a spear before sharpening and revealing itself as a halberd.
Gilgamesh tossed the weapon to Tsubaki, who, upon catching it, widened her eyes as she felt the power flowing from it.
"I'm surprised you'd give a weapon to someone. From what I know, your ancestor would never share his treasure," said Sona, surprised.
Gilgamesh smiled.
"Well, that's true, but besides the [Gate of Babylon], I have an ability that allows me to copy legendary weapons," said Gilgamesh, causing everyone to widen their eyes at this information.
If Gilgamesh was truly capable of doing that, it would be incredibly terrifying. There were weapons that started and ended wars. If Gilgamesh could do all that, it would be absurdly frightening.
Though it did explain a bit about the number of weapons he summoned during his battle against Kokabiel.
"I see. So, can you tell us about the weapon?" asked Sona, and Gilgamesh nodded.
He extended his hand, and Tsubaki handed the halberd to him before Gilgamesh began to explain.
"Its name is Houtengeki," Gilgamesh began to explain: "A unique halberd crafted in ancient China. It is a masterpiece in every sense of the word, and if you search the entire world, you will never find another halberd that matches it. What sets it apart from any other type of weapon is its versatility, which allows it to utilize all the main characteristics of all other two-handed weapons, enabling it to be effective in slashing, thrusting, striking, reaping, and sweeping.
"However, this is both a flaw and a blessing in its design, as it requires great skill to wield this weapon. It would not be incorrect to say that to master it, you need the skill to handle various types of weapons. It is an incredibly difficult weapon to learn to wield proficiently and will take years even for the most talented fighter to fully master it. In nearly two thousand years that the Houtengeki has existed, only one man has successfully mastered it."
"The most notable aspect of this weapon is how its destructive power varies according to the skill of its wielder. The more skilled the user, the more powerful the halberd becomes, while in the hands of an amateur, it becomes little more than a pointed stick."
"At full strength, it is said to have the ability to pierce anything in the world, from the strongest armor to the scales of dragons and even the flesh of gods."
At this point, everyone in the student council room was staring at the weapon with looks of shock and admiration. The expressions of astonishment on the usually stoic faces of Sona, Tsubaki, and Momo were especially amusing to Gilgamesh.
"Gilgamesh," Sona called out with a stunned expression: "You gave my [Queen] a potentially god-destroying weapon? Just like that?"
Gilgamesh simply shrugged.
"I have no use for it," said Gilgamesh.
That was true. The Houtengeki, though powerful, offered no unique abilities that Gilgamesh couldn't find in another weapon. In fact, compared to some of the stronger blades, it paled in comparison.
And besides, Gilgamesh had the original stored in the [Gate of Babylon] and could create as many copies as he wanted with [Unlimited Weapons Works].
"I don't mind leaving it with Tsubaki. I'm sure the Houtengeki will be much happier with her," said Gilgamesh, smiling before handing the weapon back to Tsubaki, who smiled.
"Gilgamesh," a voice called out to him, revealed to be Tsubaki: "You said only one man in history ever mastered the Houtengeki. Who was it?"
"He was Lu Bu, a man whose skill in battle earned him a place as a legend in the history of China."
"A hero?" Sona asked: "You gave her a legendary hero's weapon?"
Gilgamesh shook his head.
"Lu Bu was many great things, but he was not a hero."
Tsubaki looked at the weapon for a moment before looking at Gilgamesh.
"I promise I'll take good care of it," said Tsubaki seriously.
Gilgamesh smiled.
"I know you will. I trust you," said Gilgamesh, smiling.
Seeing his smile, Tsubaki began to blush before her entire face turned red and started steaming.
Gilgamesh then turned his gaze back to Sona.
"Well, I don't have anything to give you, since a Sacred Gear wouldn't be suitable because you're a pure-blooded demon, and you don't use any weapons," said Gilgamesh to Sona, who shook her head.
"Don't worry, I don't want anything," said Sona.
Gilgamesh looked at her for a few seconds until a mischievous smile appeared on his lips and quickly vanished.
"Well, since there's nothing I can give you," said Gilgamesh, putting on an innocent face: "You can ask for anything you want, and I'll do it," said Gilgamesh.
Everyone fell silent for a moment before realizing the double meaning behind his words.
All the girls, including Sona and Tsubaki, blushed intensely as lust gleamed in their eyes.
It was no secret that many girls at school had a crush on Gilgamesh, as they considered him perfect.
Sona, Akeno, and Tsubaki were among the many who had this crush.
Gilgamesh was considered perfect; he was kind, powerful, intelligent, polite, and on top of that, had a beauty that would impress any woman. Just being in his presence for too long made women feel their bodies heat up.
All this was due to him being the son of the Goddess of Love.
Even the strict Sona had already had some wet dreams about Gilgamesh and used him in her… nighttime activities, so to speak.
Sona's brilliant mind worked quickly and began sending some scenes to her imagination.
In the scenes, Gilgamesh and Sona were naked and sweaty in a bed.
A trickle of blood began to drip from Sona and Tsubaki's noses, who were having the same thoughts.
Gilgamesh put on an innocent expression upon seeing this.
"Sona, Tsubaki, there's blood dripping from your noses. Don't tell me you're thinking of something perverted?" said Gilgamesh with a teasing tone.
Sona and Tsubaki widened their eyes before wiping the blood.
"N-No, it's not that!" Sona and Tsubaki shouted desperately.
Gilgamesh put on an innocent face before standing up.
"I promised I'd do anything," said Gilgamesh as he began to unbutton his shirt.
All the girls in the room widened their eyes as they saw Gilgamesh unbuttoning his shirt, revealing his muscular, perfectly defined chest with no fat, his chiseled abs, and his skin that seemed soft.
They couldn't even speak as their faces turned completely red and blood dripped from their noses, seeing before them the most beautiful and delicious body that would be in the most sinful dreams of any woman.
While the girls stared at Gilgamesh's body before screaming in embarrassment, Saji was in the corner of the room with a cloud of depression, cursing handsome guys and that Sona would never love him.
