Chapter 2 - Chapter 2- 17 Years Later

**17 Years Later**

**Location: Somewhere in China**

China is one of the largest countries in the world, located in Asia, with a population of over 1 billion people, and one of the most important countries globally.

But since we're not here for a geography lesson, let's get to what matters—more precisely, the main character of this story, who is currently in China.

In an unknown region, mainly because the author doesn't want to specify where, and honestly, because he doesn't know, there is an extremely vast forest.

The trees were incredibly tall, to the point that anyone in the forest couldn't see the sky because the foliage blocked it, with extremely dense vegetation rich in life.

But we don't care about that, because this isn't a plant studies class or anything like that. We want to see our main character, who is currently in this forest.

A young man walked calmly through the forest. He was tall, with tanned skin as if he had spent several days at the beach. His eyes were yellow, almost golden, and his hair was a dark brown-black, lightening at the tips.

He was wearing a black leather jacket with golden buttons and some details. The jacket was open, revealing a short-sleeved white T-shirt. The inside of the jacket was red, and he wore a necklace around his neck. He also had on black sweatpants.

On his left arm, he had a tattoo of an Asian dragon, and he wore a black glove on the same hand.

This young man was none other than the protagonist of our story, obviously—Alexandre Ikuse, the human who had the fortune of reincarnating into the world of DxD.

It had been 17 years since Alexandre was reincarnated into DxD, and he had faced many surprises during that time.

The first was, obviously, his name: Alexandre Ikuse.

He had no issue with his first name, Alexandre. It even had a cool meaning—in the Bible, Alexandre meant "Protector of Humanity."

The problem was his surname: Ikuse.

Because Alexandre only knew one character in DxD with that surname.

Tobio Ikuse, the wielder of the Longinus [Canis Lykaon], one of the strongest human candidates and one of the best fighters in Grigori, the organization of the Fallen Angels.

And, in this case, his twin brother.

Alexandre didn't know why this had happened. All he knew was that he was the brother of SlashDog, Tobio Ikuse.

The older brother, in fact, since Alexandre was born some time before his brother.

From what Alexandre knew, when he and Tobio were born, both were left in the care of their grandmother because their parents had died.

However, there was a concerning factor: both Alexandre and Tobio were born with Longinus-class Sacred Gears. Not only that, but they had awakened them at birth and were capable of performing the forbidden move, the Balance Breaker.

Their grandmother, fearing the danger of keeping two Longinus so close together, sealed both Sacred Gears with Buddhist magic. To prevent two such powerful Sacred Gears from being in proximity, she separated them.

Tobio, with a lesser aura, stayed with her, while Alexandre, with a greater aura, was taken by some relatives to live in the United States.

Although they lived in different countries, Alexandre and Tobio were very close. Alexandre's family would take him to Japan whenever possible to visit his brother.

Even when he couldn't visit, they always talked on the phone. But all this stability changed when Alexandre turned four.

The seal his grandmother had placed was strong enough to suppress Alexandre's Sacred Gears, but it couldn't prevent him from coming into contact with them.

Them, in this case, because Alexandre had more than one Sacred Gear.

Alexandre already knew he would have more than one Sacred Gear, as it was part of his wish.

One of them was the Longinus [Divine Dividing], the Light Wings of the White Dragon Emperor, one of the Thirteen Sacred Gears capable of killing Gods and Buddhas, housing the soul of Albion, one of the Two Heavenly Dragons and the White Dragon Emperor of Supremacy.

His second Sacred Gear was [Dimension Lost], another Longinus-class Sacred Gear, listed among the four strongest, with the power to destroy the world when mastered, the strongest Sacred Gear related to barriers and space, with influence over dimensions.

But there was more. When he was reincarnated by that being, they said Alexandre would receive several bonuses, and the Hakuryuukou truly did.

One of them was another Sacred Gear, in this case, the [Regulus Nemea], the Battle Axe of the Lion King, a Sacred Gear said to be capable of splitting the earth with a single swing.

Although surprised, Alexandre liked having this Longinus, partly due to its power and partly due to its significance.

This was the Longinus of the Lion King, an opposition to the Longinus [Canis Lykaon], the King of Wolves, which his brother Tobio possessed.

Perhaps that was why he had it, but even so, Alexandre couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for Sairaorg not having it, though he knew the Devil was monstrously strong even without it.

So, with these three Sacred Gears, even at one year old, Alexandre was able to communicate with Albion and Regulus.

Though both were surprised to be in the same host, they eventually got along, to the extent possible.

Back then, Alexandre had learned everything about the supernatural world through the two beings of the Longinus. Even though he knew the basics, they explained everything in depth and even helped with the start of his training.

But everything changed when Alexandre turned four. The seals used to suppress his energy and Sacred Gears could no longer contain their power, and so they stopped working.

Soon after, several supernatural beings attacked his home to try to capture him, resulting in the death of Alexandre's adoptive parents and him fully awakening his Sacred Gears, escaping after killing everyone.

The years passed after that event, and Alexandre learned to survive on his own.

He had been trained by Albion and Regulus, becoming stronger and mastering various types of skills and magic.

Speaking of magic, Alexandre had checked whether each of his wishes had worked.

The first was about his knowledge of all magic, which he truly had, but it wasn't as incredible as it seemed.

His knowledge of magic was essentially a book, with each page containing all the magic from each world. But that was it—he had the knowledge of how to use them, but it didn't mean he was an instant master.

He had gained the knowledge and ability to use all of them, but to master them, he had to train intensely.

There were magics that people spent their entire lives mastering, and Alexandre managed to gain some proficiency thanks to his immense magical talent.

And it wasn't just about magic but also other skills like Haki, Ninjutsu, and Jujutsu.

Of course, this gave him the knowledge of how to use them and the ability, but Alexandre had to train to wield each one. He had even gained the ability to use some Ninjutsu from Naruto and was working on Jujutsu from the Jujutsu Kaisen universe.

The same applied to his sword skills. He had all the knowledge of swordsmanship, but it was like a book. All he needed to do was train to master them and his body to withstand their power.

Another thing that surprised Alexandre was his talent. He had asked for immense talent in magic and sword skills from the being that reincarnated him, and it delivered.

But the way it was done caught Alexandre's attention—by making him a descendant of two legendary heroes.

The Mage Merlin and the Knight of the Lake, Lancelot Du Lac.

This was very surprising for Alexandre, especially since he only discovered it years after reincarnating.

He found out he was a descendant of Merlin during one of his travels. One of the things Alexandre loved most was traveling and acquiring more knowledge, to the point that Albion considered him a maniac for it. Even though he had knowledge of all magic, it was something he enjoyed.

During one of these travels, he discovered he was a descendant of Merlin. In fact, it would be more accurate to say he was a reincarnation of Merlin and Lancelot, as if he were the heir to their spirits, similar to how Jeanne was the heir to the spirit of the Maid of Orleans.

On one of these trips, Alexandre found one of Merlin's old bases, where he discovered a Grimoire, the [Astil Manuscript].

It was a legendary Grimoire that once belonged to Merlin, containing all of Merlin's knowledge of magic and beyond, highly sought after by many. But it had a spell preventing anyone but Merlin himself from using it.

However, when Alexandre found it, the Grimoire bonded with him, connecting to his soul, and he discovered he was a descendant of Merlin through it. The Grimoire alone was more than enough proof, and he also found a message from Merlin recorded within it.

Though surprised, Alexandre couldn't help but feel satisfied, especially since it explained why he had such an affinity for magic.

And also Alexandre's fascination with magic, which matched Merlin quite well.

Alexandre had also learned various types of magic for this world, such as [Command T], a magic that allowed manipulation of mass and proportions.

Originally a DxD magic belonging to Brandish, one of Zeref's servants known as the Nation Destroyer.

It was one of Alexandre's favorite magics because it combined so well with his power as the Hakuryuukou.

Others included [Hellblaze], which allowed manipulation of black purgatory flames, and [Ark], which allowed manipulation of light power. He had also learned the [Worthless] ability of the Belial clan, which allowed him to nullify any ability if he knew how it worked.

As for Lancelot, it was a bit different. Alexandre met him and discovered he was his descendant while exploring the depths of [Divine Dividing].

Imagine his surprise when he discovered that the Knight of the Lake was a former Hakuryuukou.

When he met him, Alexandre couldn't help but be shocked, but after much conversation, Lancelot revealed that Alexandre was his descendant and let go of the hatred trapped within the Longinus, passing his power to Alexandre before disappearing.

What Alexandre received from Lancelot, as proof of being his descendant, was the sword of the Perfect Knight: the Holy Sword Arondight.

Alexandre had an unmatched affinity for any type of weapon, capable of wielding both holy and demonic swords, and Arondight was a perfect example.

Although it was once a Holy Sword considered a counterpart to King Arthur's, when Lancelot went mad, it was bathed in darkness and became a demonic sword.

Arondight was stored within one of the wings of [Divine Dividing], which functioned similarly to a storage space, and when Alexandre obtained it, he managed, through training, to reawaken the sword's holy power.

And so, Arondight became both a holy and demonic sword, and it was incredibly powerful.

The first thing Alexandre noticed was that its appearance was identical to that of the Fate universe, not DxD.

Another was its power. Arondight is a unique sword, capable of transforming to match its wielder's parameters.

It is the second strongest holy sword after Caliburn and can generate a vast amount of holy aura that surpasses both Excalibur and Durandal.

In the past, it was used by Lancelot to kill numerous dragons, gaining Dragon Slayer capabilities.

This is a holy sword imbued with strong Dragon Slayer abilities, capable of wounding a high-level dragon. As a result of being bathed in dragon blood, the blade's sharpness and Dragon Slayer abilities increased, earning it the title of the "Supreme Dragon Slayer."

Even though Alexandre was a host to a dragon, his immense affinity with swords allowed him to wield the blade without issue.

Alexandre also preferred to keep his name as it was. He could have adopted the name "Du Lac" or "Ambrosius" as a descendant of the Legendary Mage and the Perfect Knight, but he chose not to.

First, because it would draw too much attention, as both were significant figures.

The Mage Merlin was extremely famous worldwide, considered the King of Mages. Merlin Ambrosius, the human who single-handedly created the Mage Faction. The man who took his knowledge of Devil Magic and turned it into a form usable by ordinary humans, a true legendary mage.

And Lancelot was one of the strongest humans in history, considered equal to King Arthur in skill.

This would generate a lot of unwanted attention that Alexandre didn't want.

Also, if he did that, his name would become Alexandre Ikuse Ambrosius Du Lac, which was excessively long and ridiculous.

He was content with his Grimoire and sword.

Speaking of blades, Alexandre also had his Zanpakutou [Ryuujin Jakka]. He had awakened it during his training and even met the Zanpakutou's spirit.

Alexandre had managed to release its Shikai and had mastered its power well. It took him a year to achieve Shikai and two more to master it, but he knew he was still far from reaching Bankai.

As for his other wish related to the Lacrimas of Dragon, God, and Devil Slayer Magic.

All of them were stored with Alexandre, who currently used his Grimoire as a storage space, and he noticed some things about them.

The first was that he could only implant one Lacrima in himself every year, which was the time it took for his body to adapt to the power. This wasn't surprising, as Dragon Slayers like Natsu were trained for a long time to acquire that power.

Also, whenever Alexandre implanted one, his magical power increased even more. Another factor was that he was immune to the side effects of the magic.

So, he didn't have to worry about turning into a Dragon, God, or Demon and losing his rationality.

Speaking of dragons, Alexandre was indeed part dragon. Years ago, he had sacrificed his heart to Albion to undergo the draconification process and become a dragon, making him part human and part dragon.

Currently, he had acquired seven Dragon Slayer Magics, two Devil Slayer Magics, and one God Slayer Magic, but even with so many magics, Alexandre had only mastered one so far.

But enough explanations—let's get to the story.

Alexandre continued walking through the vast Chinese forest, focusing his eyes on a massive cave in front of him.

[Refresh my memory, Alex. Why are we here?] a voice echoed in Alexandre's mind, or Alex, as he was called.

"I'd like to know that too," said another voice in Alexandre's mind, one that exuded great authority and power.

"Looks like I'll have to explain again, Albion, Regulus," said Alexandre, amused.

The first voice belonged to Albion, one of the Two Heavenly Dragons, the Vanishing Dragon sealed within the Longinus [Divine Dividing] and the rival of the Welsh Dragon, Ddraig.

The second belonged to the Lion King of Nemea, sealed within the Longinus [Regulus Nemea], one of the strongest monsters in Greek mythology and the son of the King of Monsters, Typhon.

[I just don't see the point of this, Alex,] said Albion, grumbling in Alexandre's mind.

"I'd rather be sleeping," said Regulus, yawning in Alex's mind.

[But you were already sleeping, Regulus,] Albion pointed out.

"Nobody asked for your opinion, white lizard," said Regulus, grumbling, making Albion growl.

Alexandre had to hold back his laughter. Although Regulus and Albion had accepted being with the same host, they still had their quarrels.

"We're going after the Grimoire of Azi Dahaka," said Alexandre, analyzing the sealed cave entrance.

[But you already have all the necessary knowledge about magic in your Grimoire,] said Albion, confused.

"But I'm still going to collect it. You know I like that," said Alexandre, as Albion nodded.

The White Dragon knew his partner had a hobby of collecting legendary items, from weapons to Grimoires and other things, and the Grimoire of Azi Dahaka was tempting.

Aži Dahāka was a legendary Evil Dragon, also known as the Thousand Dragon of Diabolism and the Forbidden Dragon of Demonic Origin. In the past, Aži Dahāka was created by Angra Mainyu and fought against the army of the Zoroastrian Gods. He was then defeated by the hero Θraētaona and later sealed.

Azi Dahaka was a Dragon said to know over a thousand types of magic, all stored in his Grimoire containing that knowledge.

"Though I'm surprised the Grimoire of Azi Dahaka is in China, far from its place of origin," said Alexandre, analyzing the barrier protecting the cave.

Alexandre raised his hand, concentrated his magical power, and punched the cave wall, which shattered and flew apart.

In a quick movement, Alexandre entered the cave and saw that it was very dark, but the corridor was long. Sighing, Alexandre continued walking through it.

[Probably the Chinese Gods took the Grimoire for themselves or something like that,] said Albion in Alexandre's mind.

"Hmm, and are the Chinese Gods strong?" asked Alexandre, walking calmly through the cave.

[Not really. Gods draw much of their power from human faith, but over time, as mythologies are forgotten, the old Persians have already lost several Gods because of this. With the spread of Christianity, Gods lose even more faith,] Albion explained calmly.

"True. One of my former hosts fought a Chinese God but lost. The God's power wasn't very impressive. I'd say the strongest Gods are a bit below Gods like Zeus," said Regulus, yawning.

[Yes. I believe the Primordial Gods of this mythology are around that level, but the others are much weaker,] said Albion.

Alexandre nodded. He had to stay informed, as he was in enemy territory and didn't want to alert any Gods to his presence.

Alexandre continued walking calmly through the corridors until something caught his attention.

He was in a large room made entirely of stone. Ahead, several meters away, was a barrier blocking further progress, likely created by a God, given the amount of power.

But that wasn't the only thing that caught his attention—it was the numerous earth golems approaching him.

With a single glance, Alexandre could tell these golems were created to protect the entrance. There were many, but their power was disappointing.

They were at Ultimate-class power, quite low for beings created by Gods.

"Is this a joke or something?" Alexandre couldn't help but wonder.

[They probably thought no one would be foolish enough to invade this place,] said Albion.

"Yeah, but there are always those fools. Nowadays' thieves are pretty strong too," added Regulus.

Alexandre narrowed his eyes.

"Was that supposed to be a jab at me?"

[I don't know what you're talking about, Alex. Must be your imagination.]

"Yeah, your imagination, partner."

Alexandre didn't buy it, especially because of the laughter he heard in his mind.

Though Albion and Regulus didn't get along, they often teamed up against Alex.

The creatures began moving slowly toward Alexandre. You didn't need to be a genius to know they weren't fast, especially since their bodies were made of stone.

Alexandre took a deep breath and extended his hand, feeling like testing something.

"Dismantle," whispered the Hakuryuukou, hand outstretched.

To Alexandre, it was as if the world slowed down as dozens of white beams, resembling lines, appeared across the stone bodies of the creatures.

In the next moment, where the lines passed, everything was cut. All the stone creatures were sliced and chopped into dozens of pieces.

The Lion King's smile widened: "Success," said Alexandre, grinning.

What he had used was Jujutsu, a technique from the anime Jujutsu Kaisen that Alexandre was able to replicate.

Naturally, Jujutsu was performed with cursed energy, but for a magical genius like Alex, it was easy to adapt it with his magical power.

In this case, the Jujutsu he created and adapted was the technique used by the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna.

Sukuna's power was based on cuts he used with his energy, without needing a weapon, and that's what Alexandre recreated.

The technique was divided into two forms: [Dismantle] and [Cleave].

[Dismantle] is a slashing attack that can slice countless things, from living beings to inanimate objects, without needing a weapon. This technique can be used purely with Alex's magical energy and can cut anything in its range, though there's a limit to its cutting power.

And [Cleave] is a slashing attack that adjusts based on the target's resistance and energy level to eliminate it in one strike.

Both were techniques of the King of Curses, but what Alexandre was really interested in was obtaining a [Domain Expansion], as it would greatly enhance his power.

After all, it's a world where all his abilities are amplified, and his attacks have a 100% hit rate. Combined with Albion's division power, it would be even more terrifying.

Alexandre calmly walked toward the barrier and lightly touched it.

When Alexandre's hand touched the barrier, it was immediately repelled by a divine aura.

[This will be tricky to destroy,] said Albion.

"Yeah, physical strength alone won't be enough," said Regulus, yawning.

Alexandre took a deep breath and touched the barrier again, which immediately tried to repel him, but with a large amount of aura in his hand, he was able to resist.

"Let's go, Albion," said Alexandre, smiling.

**Divine Dividing!!**

A glow spread from Alexandre's back as Albion's voice emerged.

From Alexandre's back sprouted two long white wings with eight shining blue feathers, radiating great beauty.

It was the Longinus [Divine Dividing], the Light Wings of the White Dragon Emperor, where the Vanishing Dragon, Albion, was sealed.

Alexandre smiled as he unleashed the power of his Longinus.

"Divide!"

[Divide!]

Albion's deep, powerful voice came from within the wings as his power was summoned.

The moment the power was activated, the barrier's aura suddenly dropped as its power was cut in half.

[Divide] was one of the abilities of the Longinus [Divine Dividing], allowing its user to halve the power of anything they touched and add the divided power to their own.

Of course, this had a limit. Alexandre couldn't divide the power of someone stronger than him. If he tried, the division wouldn't work fully, and only a portion would be absorbed.

The light wings began releasing a small amount of energy in the form of blue glitter, one of the Longinus's abilities to release energy exceeding the user's capacity to keep them at their maximum.

Alexandre smiled as the barrier's aura was halved, making it much easier to destroy at its reduced energy level.

Alexandre raised his left arm as a strong white aura began emanating from his body, concentrating in his fist.

With a firm motion, Alexandre struck with all his strength, his fist imbued with magic, against the barrier.

There was no resistance. The moment Alex's fist touched the barrier, it was completely destroyed, and the stone wall was annihilated in an explosion of dust as the debris was sent flying.

Alexandre walked through the dust generated by the explosion with a smile.

"Honestly, [Crash] is one of my favorite magics," Alexandre said to himself.

[Crash] was one of the main magics Alexandre dedicated himself to learning, an extremely powerful Conjurer Magic that only the strongest magicians could use properly. It grants the user the ability to shatter everything they come into contact with into countless pieces through the pressurization of magical energies.

Simply one of the strongest magics in existence, Crash is a supernatural power that can be considered a crystallization of "pure destruction," not much different from the [Power of Destruction] of the Bael clan.

A magic that destroys the density of atoms and molecules, causing everything the user touches to be destroyed, whether organic or inorganic, even other magics.

Though an extremely powerful magic to control, it requires unmatched magical control. Otherwise, this power would destroy everything, regardless of the user's will.

Alexandre had exceptional control over it, at least for his age, but he knew he was far from fully mastering it.

The Hakuryuukou's eyes scanned the room, and his smile grew when he found what he wanted.

On top of a large pillar, surrounded by powerful magic, was a Grimoire. Its appearance was similar to a dark-covered book with various golden details scattered across it, along with some jewels around it, and a deep blue aura surrounding it.

You didn't need to be a genius to know that was Alexandre's goal, the Grimoire containing all the spells of the Evil Dragon Azi Dahaka.

But Alexandre's attention was quickly diverted to the environment he was in.

It was a grand hall, like treasure halls in stories, not only that but also filled with various other items like weapons and gold scattered around.

But that wasn't what caught his attention—it was the ten statues, five on each side, lining the corridor leading to the Grimoire.

They all resembled medieval knights, each wielding a different weapon: swords, spears, hammers, axes, and more.

Slowly, the statues began to move, stepping off their bases and positioning themselves in front of Alexandre in a combat stance.

"More guards," said Alex, grumbling.

[Well, they want protection. And these are considerably stronger than the others. I'd say they're at Ultimate to Maou-class level,] said Albion calmly.

"Yeah, but that's raw power. They probably can't use a third of their power properly," said Regulus, grumbling.

Alexandre agreed with them. Although the creatures had such power, they were just puppets unable to control it properly, making them easier to defeat.

Alexandre's attention was drawn to one of the statues that charged at him with surprising speed for its size, swinging its sword at him.

The sword crashed into the ground, splitting it in half, but Alexandre was no longer there.

In a display of speed, he appeared above the statue's head, fist clenched, and with one motion, punched its head with all his strength.

The moment his fist hit the statue, its stone head exploded into millions of pieces.

Alexandre had always had surprising physical strength, capable of rivaling and surpassing many supernatural beings. He was never limited by his human status, and that strength increased even more when he became a dragon.

Alexandre quickly turned his attention to three other statues preparing to attack him.

He extended his hand, releasing a white aura that took the shape of a net. The moment it hit the three golems, they were destroyed and turned into several stone cubes.

It was [Disassemble Magic], a magic that creates a net-like pattern that cuts through everything it touches, regardless of tangibility.

However, instead of being destroyed, objects touched are separated and form countless smaller versions of the original. When used on a living organism, the target is reduced to small, doll-like versions of themselves, complete with expressionless faces.

Alexandre quickly landed on the ground as a golem appeared behind him, intending to cut him in half with its axe.

But all Alex did was extend his left hand and snap his fingers.

When he snapped his fingers, a small spark was generated, and in an instant, it turned into a massive blaze of flames that completely consumed the golem's body, incinerating it.

This was a type of [Alchemy], specifically [Flame Alchemy].

The being that reincarnated Alex had included many things beyond just magic, and [Alchemy] from the anime Fullmetal Alchemist was included.

Although Alexandre had mastered [Alchemy] and could use it without transmutation circles, his favorite was [Flame Alchemy].

This Alchemy was possible for Alex thanks to his custom-made left glove.

Made of "pyrotex and/or ignition cloth," these gloves create a spark when Alex rubs his fingers and are embroidered with unique flame alchemy transmutation circles, allowing him to manipulate the oxygen concentration in the air.

When attacking, Alex increases the oxygen density around his target to a volatile level and creates narrow oxygen pathways between himself and the target, through which he can direct the instantaneous fire that ignites from the spark of his gloves.

As a result, he can incinerate any number of enemies on the field while skillfully avoiding nearby allies.

The flames slowly died down, revealing that the golem had been burned to ashes. Though Alexandre could use [Fire Magic], he really enjoyed using [Flame Alchemy].

His attention turned to the other five golems preparing to attack him.

Raising both hands, Alexandre let his magical power circulate through his body as his fists were enveloped in a large wave of yellow lightning and thunder spreading across his body.

"Double Fist of the Lightning Dragon."

At unmatched speed, impossible to track with mortal eyes, Alex was already in front of two golems, piercing their bodies.

His lightning-wrapped fists intensified, and in a burst of electricity, they destroyed the two golems.

In a swift motion, Alexandre spun on his axis as the lightning grew.

"Lightning Dragon's Wing Beat."

The lightning intensified, transforming into two electric beams that destroyed the remaining three golems.

Alexandre relaxed, sighing after using one of his Dragon Slayer Magics, the [Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic].

The lightning swirling around Alexandre slowly faded as he relaxed and stopped circulating magic through his body, sighing.

Alexandre quickly moved toward the Grimoire nearby and grabbed it, removing it from where it was floating.

"Finally," said Alexandre, smiling.

But his joy didn't last long as the entire cave began to shake violently and collapse on him.

"This has to be a joke," Alex shouted, quickly trying to escape the cave.

However, a large amount of rocks fell at the exit, blocking it.

[You have to get out of there fast, Alex!] Albion shouted in his host's mind.

"You think I don't know that?!" he shouted back.

Raising his right hand, enveloped in a deep white aura, Alexandre channeled his [Crash] magic into his fist.

He directed all the power of his fist toward the cave's ceiling, and when it made contact, he released all the accumulated magic power.

When the magic hit the ceiling, a massive explosion occurred. All the rocks in the way were annihilated, creating a path to the surface.

Alexandre didn't hesitate, bathing his body in [Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic] and transforming into a bolt of lightning to escape the cave.

Transformed into lightning, it was easy for Alexandre to escape the cave, reappearing outside and deactivating his magic, sighing in relief.

"Damn, that was close," said Alexandre, grumbling.

[Don't be like that, partner. You could've escaped that easily. You're just too lazy,] said Albion, laughing.

"True," agreed Regulus, also laughing.

Alexandre huffed, standing up and grumbling.

[Look on the bright side, partner. You didn't alert any Gods or anything like that,] said Albion.

"Albion, don't say that. It might jinx it," said Alexandre, grumbling.

[Don't be pessimistic, partner. What's the worst that could happen?] said Albion, laughing.

At that moment, both Alex and Regulus widened their eyes.

"You didn't just say that…" Regulus whispered.

[What? What's the worst that could happen?]

"Damn it, twice. You just triggered Murphy and his damn law, Albion," said Alexandre, eyes wide.

[Don't be like that, partner. It's just a legend,] said Albion, laughing.

But before Alexandre or Regulus could say anything, a massive explosion of power caught their attention.

Turning around, Alexandre's eyes widened at what he saw. A light shone in the sky, turning everything into a golden glow.

When the clouds parted, a being emerged.

It was an extremely beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, though her current attire left little to the imagination. She had lovely red hair, tied in two different styles: the hair at the back of her head was tied in a large bun with a strand of golden dragon hair holding it in place, while the hair on each side of her head was styled in elegant braids that eventually merged into a large braid that reached her waist. Her eyes were vibrant emerald green, filled with warmth and love. Wrapped around her large breasts, narrow stomach, and waist, barely covering her plump rear and groin, was a long, elegant golden cloth held in place by five beautiful jewel-covered ropes. Hanging from her left hip was a glowing green orb. Around her neck was a beautiful green necklace, and around her forehead, she wore a headband holding a stunning green jewel in the center. Her body was completely covered in light golden tribal markings, and on her shoulders and waist were silvery-blue dragon scales.

But that wasn't what caught Alexandre's attention.

What caught his attention was the long serpentine tail the woman had and the two massive draconic wings on her back.

And, above all, the massive divine aura emanating from her body.

"Albion…" whispered Alex.

[That's Nuwa, the Serpent Goddess, the Goddess who created humanity according to the Chinese. She is associated with rain, puddles, ponds, and other places where water pools and is inhabited by amphibious creatures and fish. A being that is both God and Dragon,] said Albion in Alexandre's mind.

Alexandre's eyes widened. Of all things, one of the strongest Gods in China, a Goddess with power beyond Maou-class and at God-level, with the power of a mid-tier God.

"What is this author thinking, making me fight a God in the second or third chapter?" Alex grumbled to himself.

"Albion, if our partner dies, I swear I'll kill you," said Regulus to the White Dragon.

"Albion, Regulus, it hasn't been long, but you know my time with you guys has been amazing, and I'm very grateful for what you've done for me," said Alex in a grateful tone.

"I share that sentiment, Alex. You're the best host I've ever had," said Regulus, emotional.

[Hey, don't say that… maybe she hasn't noticed us yet. Maybe we can leave,] said Albion, trying to find a way out.

The moment Albion's words echoed in Alexandre's mind, the Serpent Goddess turned her furious gaze toward him, a sinister smile forming on her face.

"Albion?" called Regulus.

[Well, damn… I guess we can only fight now,] said Albion.

"As if I had a choice," said Alexandre, powering up.

The Serpent Goddess quickly locked her gaze on the Hakuryuukou, who stared back fearlessly.

For both knew a battle awaited them.

(Author: And another chapter, folks.

And there's already a fight with a God in the next chapter. As I said, everything that can go wrong will go wrong for Alex.

Also, he can beat Nuwa in strength, but he's very lazy.

Comment what you think and ideas for future arcs.

Alex will also have his own group in the fic, similar to Gil's, but only from DxD. And as he's the Hakuryuukou, Vali's entire group—Arthur, Le Fay, Kuroka, and Bikou—will join him.

His first ally will appear at the end of the next chapter.

You can comment ideas for characters who could join Alex and why.

And that's it.

See you later!)
