The soul thought for a moment, but suddenly something occurred to him, and he asked, "How many wishes do I get?"
The humanoid figure said, "You will receive six wishes, in addition to being able to choose the appearance of any character."
The soul began to think, and after a while, said, "The world I want is High School DxD."
"Hmm… Okay, it's done. And your wishes?"
"For my first wish, I want the ability to use all existing magic, along with immense magical talent and power," said the soul.
The humanoid being, despite having no face, seemed to narrow its eyes: "What you've asked for could be considered three wishes."
The soul shrugged, even without a body: "You didn't set any limits or specifications on the wishes themselves, so…"
The figure looked at him for a moment before laughing: "Hahaha, to think you'd play it like that. Very well, I accept your first wish. But there will be restrictions."
"What are they?" the soul questioned.
The humanoid being raised one finger: "First: You may have the knowledge of how to use them, but that doesn't mean you'll instantly master them. You'll need to train to use each one if you want to."
The soul somewhat agreed. He would have the knowledge and ability to use them, but he'd need to train to wield them, and depending on the magic, it could take a long time.
The figure raised a second finger: "Second: The magic will only include those that anyone could use. Things like Nen won't be included in this category, but others like Haki will. Also, there are magics that require objects to work, and if you don't have them, they won't function. For example, Dragon Slayer Magic requires a Dragon Lacrima or training from a dragon. If you don't have that, it won't work."
The figure raised a third finger: "I will include unique abilities like the [Power of Destruction] of the Bael and the [Worthless] of the Belial, but you'll have to train hard to master them."
Even without a head, the soul nodded in agreement. Even with these limitations, there were countless powerful magics he could use, especially with magical abilities tied to bloodlines, and combined with the talent he requested, the training time would be significantly reduced.
"And what about the magic from Black Clover that requires a Grimoire?" asked the soul.
The being pondered for a moment before nodding in agreement: "You'll be able to use those even without a Grimoire," said the figure.
"I see. My second wish is to have knowledge of all existing sword techniques and immense talent with any physical skill," said the soul.
The being seemed to narrow its eyes before agreeing: "Very well, but although you have the knowledge, you'll need to train your body. If it's not strong enough, it will be useless," said the being, with the soul agreeing.
"I understand. For my third wish, I want to have the Zanpakutou Ryuujin Jakka, and to be able to achieve Shikai and Bankai," said the soul.
The being chuckled lightly: "That's why you wanted the sword techniques. Very well, but although you'll have the Zanpakutou, you'll need to train to awaken its Shikai and Bankai."
After pondering, the soul agreed.
"I understand. For my fourth wish, I want to have Lacrimas for Dragon, God, and Devil Slayer Magic of all elements," said the soul.
The being seemed to narrow its eyes: "Clever, aren't you? Very well, you'll have them, but you'll need to train to master any of them."
"Alright, and for my fifth wish, I want to have the Sacred Gear Divine Dividing," said the soul.
The humanoid figure seemed to smile: "The Hakuryuukou, huh? Very well, and your next wish?"
The soul remained silent for a few moments: "Honestly, I'm already good with these."
The humanoid figure looked at him curiously: "Seriously? Then why don't you ask for something like a system? Many ask for that."
The soul seemed to scoff: "No thanks. I don't want to become dependent on a system and only gain abilities through it. If I'm going to have something, I want to achieve it through my own effort."
The figure seemed to laugh: "Hahaha, yes, I can't help but agree with that. Many become dependent on the System to grow stronger. I like your way of thinking. The only reliable power is the one you gain through training."
"Then I think I'll give you some bonuses," said the figure of light.
"Bonuses? What kind?" asked the soul, curious.
"You'll find out in due time. Now, make your final wish already," said the figure of light.
The soul pondered before speaking: "Then let it be the Longinus Dimension Lost."
The figure looked at him curiously: "The strongest Sacred Gear related to barriers and space, with influence over dimensions, and if mastered, it can destroy the world. Good choice," said the figure, nodding. "Now, what appearance do you want?"
"I want the appearance of Ookurikara from Touken Ranbu," said the soul, with the figure nodding.
"Very well, I hope you enjoy your new life," said the figure, snapping its fingers.
All the soul saw was a great flash of light before everything disappeared.
**Scene Change.**
**Japan.**
In an unknown location in Japan, near a large forest, it was possible to see an isolated house. The trees surrounding it made it difficult to spot.
It was a large Japanese-style house, and several people could be seen. On a porch stood an elderly woman with gray hair, and around her were a young man and woman.
But what caught the most attention was what the woman was holding in her arms.
In her right arm was a child, if you could even call it that. It looked like an immense amount of darkness vaguely shaped like a human.
In her left arm, it was possible to see another child. If the first was shrouded in darkness, this one was covered in light. The second child's body was enveloped in white and blue light that formed the shape of armor, especially with two white wings with eight "feathers" of light emerging from their back.
"So it's really true…" murmured the man, stunned to see the children in the elderly woman's arms.
"Born with these Sacred Gears and already capable of performing the forbidden move…" whispered the woman, astonished.
"Yes…" the elderly woman whispered: "I still can't fully believe it, but I hope you agree with my request."
The man nodded: "Don't worry about that. We'll help," said the man, with the woman agreeing.
"It would be too dangerous to keep these two together with those Sacred Gears, even if they're twin brothers," said the woman.
The elderly woman nodded in agreement. Keeping these two Sacred Gears together could be dangerous due to their power, which could attract various beings.
"So, which one will stay with us?" asked the man, looking at the children, the two brothers.
The elderly woman gently placed both children on the ground while pulling out two papers.
But they weren't ordinary papers; they were Buddhist magic seals.
The woman slowly placed one on each child and made some gestures.
Gradually, the auras of both children disappeared, revealing their true appearances.
The boy previously shrouded in darkness now showed white but healthy skin, with a few strands of black hair and gray eyes.
The boy who had been covered in light now showed tanned skin, as if he had spent days at the beach. His eyes were yellow, almost golden, and his hair was dark, though slightly lighter than his brother's.
"As much as I love my grandsons, I couldn't protect both of them because they were born with the power to disrupt the world's balance," said the elderly woman, with the man and woman looking at her with pity.
The elderly woman picked up the tanned boy who had been covered in light and handed him to the man.
"He's always been the calmer one, so I think it would be better," said the elderly woman, looking at her grandson.
"I understand," said the man, taking the boy.
"He's the older one, right? What's his name?" the woman asked curiously.
The elderly woman smiled and nodded.
"Yes, he's the older of the two," the woman smiled faintly, looking at her grandson: "His name is Alexandre…"
"Alexandre Ikuse."
(Author: Well, folks, here's another story that wouldn't leave my head.
This story here will be one where I'll deviate more from the DxD canon. It'll serve to create wild arcs that I would've done in other stories but wouldn't have worked.
So feel free to comment with suggestions for arcs to include in this story. They can also involve other factions and beings.
The MC (Alexandre) will primarily be a mage and the one who uses Sacred Gears the most in my fics.
He'll also be Tobio Ikuse's brother and will have a role in the SlashDog arc.
He'll be very strong, but not on the level of Ban, Ren, and Gil, who fight Top 10 beings for fun.
He'll be badass but also very lazy, always trying to avoid fights but never succeeding. And when he does fight, he'll show why he's awesome.
He'll also have horrible luck; everything that can go wrong for him will.
This story will also be a harem, but a small one. Alex will be a character with many "one-night" encounters with various girls.
Comment what you think.
And Happy New Year!)
