I am lying down in a deserted house or more like in a deserted village to make it worse. People will think why am I like this in the village out of nowhere, am I death? Well I am very much alive thank you. They will think I am lost or ran away to hide, yes? The answer is still no. So if you want to know the true story, I will have to rewind 8 years behind. And yes I am 8 years old now if people are wondering.
Anyway to carry on with my story, long ago my great ancestor was the founder of the Richard kingdom and from then on onward it has been here for more than 500 years. The founder was very powerful and a peak cultivator, who left the world with many cultivation techniques. Generation after generation the Richard kingdom remain. After my grandfather step down, he made his second son the emperor instead of first. Since my grandfather is still around no one dare to go against his decisions.
My father who is the emperor has many wives like really many wives of around 100 if not more. It is said that he married every powerful king's and minister's daughters. He has hundreds of children. My mother is actually his 38th wife. But due to my maternal grandfather being right hand man of my paternal grandfather who is only second to my paternal grandfather in power. This has leads to my father being the emperor and also my mother being empress even though she is the 38th wife.
8 years ago today a boy was born. The woman who is the mother is actually an empress and the guy who was holding her hand was the emperor. And that day, I was named Ray, Ray Richard. It was a happy occasion. But people were eyeing on me from that day onward. Why? Just because my eldest brother, Roy Richard and eldest sister Elena Richard were genius. They were born with excellent talent.
I grew up tremendously abnormally. By the age of 3 I learned how to read and write. At the age of 4 I was taught how to use sword by my eldest sister and force to read a lot of book under tutors. My only fun time is when I am with mother who dotes on me a lot. She is the only one who talks and play with me. At the age of 5 something unbelievable happen and that is I managed to show my soul talent when I was sleeping and accidentally my mother saw it first. So she ran toward me and seal that soul power and did not let another person know about it. Just because she had a hunch that her baby is being targeted. She did not even let her emperor husband know about it.
To be more prepared my mother started making me study all kinds of formation and alchemy related books. It was a bit weird, why my mother doing this instead of giving me cultivation techniques. No one knows why and that was suspicious to others. And so by the time I was 6 years old I was poisoned. I couldn't move. The doctors and healers came but couldn't find what is happening? Many doctors and healers came day by day but no solution. My situation getting worse day by day, bedridden to even worse couldn't open my eyes. My mother cries and my father trying for almost 2 years. Even they hired higher level elf healer to try but no luck.
As days went by it was the day of ceremony to see whether their children are genius or not. It was decided that if they are genius they will be doing family business or helping in the kingdom but if they are then they will have to be send in lower area or worse abandoned.
There were 11 children waiting to be tested and 1 lying down in stretcher who is being forced to take it because at the age of 8 is when they do the testing.
The test is of 3 kinds, they are talent, spirit and skills. The talent is if you are mage, fighter or many other unique talents there are. The spirit is what type of spirit you have such as the emperor has flood dragon and the empress has dark shadow and so on. Last is skill which is an ability which is given such as if you are a swords man you get sword slash. Even if you get skill, it cannot be detected by anyone but the user himself. Only if he reveals would people know. Now talent is 5 kinds. Wood, Iron, bronze, silver and gold.
1 boy went first, an elder name Jack started the boy's ceremony and reveals wood talent swords man, no spirit, no skills received. Send him to village.... said by elder Jack who is taking everyone's test.
Annie got wood talent alchemist, no spirit, no skills received. Send him to alchemy school.... Alchemist are highly regarded by kingdoms. So even if it is wood they try to keep them. Even if as an assistant. Annie was happy and went to her family with a smile.
This went on till 10 children having 8 wood and 2 iron talent while 1 who has received a skill.
The eleventh kid went and his talent turned out to be silver fighter which shocked everyone. The eleventh kid name Aron Richard is actually son of first elder who is my eldest uncle's son. He received a rhino spirit and 1 boxing skill. Eldest uncle became proud and smiling. Although Aron who was his fourth child didn't get any gold talent like his eldest brother, still it is good.
Now the 12th child with the help of an assistant, Ray touched an orb to see. It revealed that Ray is unranked mage which lead to Aron started laughing and start taunting "unranked mage?? Not bronze, not iron and not even wood?? Hahahahaha trash you are not even wood". People started laughing hearing his taunt. My father and mother faces went dark and wants to tear Aron to pieces.
The elder Jack who was taking this test who was testing my talent was also controlling his laughter. Fixed himself after seeing the emperor and said now for the spirit. It was glowing for a second which almost shocked everyone for a second but it couldn't maintain it spirit shaped turned into seed and went inside Ray. Again Aron started laughing and taunt, " hahaha scared me there almost, I was wondering what monstrous spirit he got but it turned out to be a seed." Hearing young master Aron everyone started laughing again.
The elder Jack wanted to check if Ray received any skills or not but was stopped by my father that, no need. He doesn't want to hear anymore humiliation crap out of Aron or anyone else. My mother who was watching didn't say anything. But gave a hand sign to one of the four maid and the maid nodded.
So elder Jack wanted to decide where to sent Ray since he has never seen unranked talent and spirit seed before. But before he could speak my eldest uncle stood up and said " Brother, it is inappropriate for such kind of trash talent to even send to a village and so I recommend that we either banished him from our country or ...."
He didn't finish his sentence but everyone got the hint what he wants to say. He wants to kill the boy. And to his statement, a lot of kings and ministers who are against the empress being empress also sounded their words in agreement.
At the sky was sitting 2 old man and was watching this. They are both my grandfather. Paternal grandfather Steve Richard and maternal grandfather Rocky Walker. Rocky couldn't handle this situation and wanted to stop but Steve stopped him. "Let the kids handle this, we shouldn't interfere."
To which Rocky sneered, "You better keep those word to yourselves then".
"What do you mean?" Asked Steve.
Rocky sneered again and said, "watch and do not interfere."
Seeing Rocky's reaction who is still giving a savage smile is giving him the chill. For the first time in his life he has seen his friend who was beside him fighting and ruling many countries for hundreds of years smiling like that. For some reason he regretted saying not to interfere all of a sudden.
And so Steve is watching what was happening down there. He noticed that my father is too humiliated to retaliate any words back to his eldest son, Rex Richard. But all of a sudden someone stood up it was not his second son, Alex Richard but the empress Diane Walker.
Diane stood up and said, "you want to kill my son?"
Rex smiled and said "Sister in law -"
Diane stopped him with a hand and said, " who are you to decide what my son is going to do or not?"
"Your third son who got wood talent with no skills and no spirit got to go to a village of your own choice and you want to decide where my child going to go or worst you want to kill him?" Turning on her aura which ended up showing her strength which is as close as Steve Richard himself stage 4 level 9 which is the peak level. Even Alex and Richard is only at stage 4 level 8.
Annie asked her father, "daddy what strength is the empress level?"
"There are 5 stages, stage 1, stage 2, stage 3, stage 4 and legendary level stage 5. And on each stage there are 9 levels. As you can see empress is stage 4 level 9 and there are only two people who managed to do it till now. Steve Richard and Rocky Walker and now there is the third one" replied to her in shock.
Even though the empress is showing her strength Rex who was shocked for a while didn't back out and turned on his own aura and said " Sister in law even if you are a bit stronger than me, according to the traditional rule given by our founder himself if there is a trashiest talent that doesn't even have wood talent should be abandoned from their country even if not killed."
"Are you saying to abandoned my child who is poisoned?" Diane asked.
To which Rex replied cooly " it is not the law that I made."
When Diane was going to say something, she was stopped by the emperor.
Alex who got shocked by the power shown by his wife replied cooly, " enough, it is true what my brother said and so Ray will be abandoned to another country. The decision has been made"
Rex gave satisfactory smile hearing his younger brother's word.
Diane looked disappointed at her husband and replied, " I am very disappointed in you, I expected at least you will support me since it is our child. But it seems the humiliation got you and you want to send my child away from you as soon as possible..." To which Alex look away since his wife has guessed right.
"Hahaha so I guessed correctly, you have 100s of children so you wouldn't care and easily willing to abandoned or perhaps kill. Then from today onward Ray is not named Ray Richard it will be Ray Walker." She sneered.
For some reason the emperor knew that he has made a huge mistake by offending his own wife because if the empress abandoned him as well then it will be quite dangerous for him since the balance might change. If he loses 2 stage 4 level 9 then his father might make Rex the emperor instead.
So to rectify his mistake he was going to say something but was stopped by Diane and heard what he definitely don't wanted to hear. And to which even Steve my grandfather who was seeing the show suddenly felt regret not letting Rocky interfere that time.
Diane ignored her husband and looked at her brother in law and the kings and ministers who wanted her child to be abandoned, she said " okay my son will leave the country but I will decide which country and how. But before that I need to let everyone who spoke and agreed with my brother in law to be prepared. There has been incident where 8 children of my husband's got poisoned. I really don't care how the 7 of those children doing but those people involved my child. I will personally send my father's army from the north and investigate who tried to poison my child or those children. If I see any maid or butler died mysteriously, I will find out and kill that family, clan, kingdom, anyone who is involved. If someone suicide so that he or she could not be questioned. I will make sure the one who suicide, his or her family is killed. Do not try to suicide and give me the names who tried to poison my child and I will make sure your family to the north and protect them and give them safety.
Everyone thought that was the end when Diane said something that shocked everyone which is where Diane looked at her husband and said, " Since 8 children got poisoned by people who are involved are my age not the children themselves. Now I will too get involve and poison children of yours which are grandchildren of those kings and others and also your eldest brother's children, do not blame me or stop me, since you didn't do anything to stop people poisoning children left and right."
After saying that she turned to look at 2 of her maid and asked, " Did you record the names of those that want my child to be abandoned?"
"Yes empress." replied the maids.
"Good." replied the empress and walking towards her son.
The moment she gave her husband look, the emperor shivered and knew that worst is coming and it did.
Now Steve know what Rocky meant. To which Rocky said, " remember your words, do not interfere."
Rocky left after saying that and Steve just look at his friend leave but didn't say anything.
"Are you threatening us?" " Don't do anything like that,empress." And many more things are being asked or said but the empress ignored them totally.
Seeing her child, she picked him up and left to her own quarter.
