SUSAN MCMILLAN
Once again, Susan dreamed about Casablanca. Only this time it was in full color. A man in a raincoat and fedora played "Chopsticks" on the piano. Just like in the first dream, the bar and its patrons disappeared. Only Susan, the man, and the piano remained. She touched his shoulder.
"Ross?"
The man turned.
"Humphrey Bogart?" Stunned, she took a step backwards. What the heck was he doing here? "Where's Ross?"
"Had to get out the country, sweetheart." He winked as he began to fade. "The coppers were on his tail. Left you a message, though."
"What?" Her heart hammered in her chest and her palms felt clammy.
"He said, 'Here's hooking a coup with the kid.'"
