Stacy's POV
I was shocked by the way things were going. I needed some level of peace, as he did too. My heart raced, and there was a lot that was happening. He was changing. He was becoming a great man, and I was happy that he was at least apologizing to me now.
"I guess we can work things out. I know we can. I promise to always talk calmly from now on."
He hummed and stared at me constantly, his eyes never leaving mine. The way he stared at me showed me he was willing to make things alright. He was always the one to make a move about us settling things like this.
"Great, and I promise to listen without getting mad…"
"So you do get mad?"
"I want you to understand that things would only be better if you could get the best of it."
"I need you to understand that things would only end up good if you see them that way." I tried to show him all of my thoughts, but then at the end, things always went badly.
