Liam's POV
The moment I heard the loud thud, I swiftly turned towards where I had left her, only to see her body on the ground. My heart felt like it was going to leap out of my chest, and for the third or fourth time, my wolf was left in a panic.
"What the hell is going on? What happened?" I got pissed immediately.
"What does it look like? She fell!" I snapped back, picking her up in my hands like the child she was before taking her to the bed.
"Is she fine?" My wolf kept asking me questions while I tried to check on her.
After doing my usual analysis, I exhaled. "I think she is, but if anything gets worse, I'll call Emma."
"You know damn well it's too dangerous. She's going to suggest you take her to the hospital, and then what would happen?"
"I guess I'll have to make a choice. She seems fine, and her breathing too, but I hope she wakes up soon. Otherwise, this is going to be an emergency case."
"Well, I guess we have to wait then."
