Liam's POV
I was stunned that she was even thinking about working. I thought all women like her wanted was to stay home, get a meal, and then rest all day. Why was she talking about wanting a job?
"Well, you have a lot to do here at home, and I provide all the meals. What else do you want?"
"Well, freedom, and there are a lot of things involved as well. I want to experience life. You're keeping me locked up like I am a prisoner. Why do you go out there to have fun?"
"Are you saying this because Emma came back home to meet with me? Are you saying this to get back at me? I don't think that's the right thing for you to do."
I shook my head. "I believe your rule is don't wolf out, and I have been able to control myself. Also, I shouldn't get spotted by humans, right? That's the only rule, so why can't you let me go out?"
"I'm scared you'll make a mistake, and then at the end of the day, end up getting hurt when I am not near to save you."
