Stacy POV
The voice I heard sounded like that of a female, but I didn't know what else to say about it. Maybe it was because I hadn't made any friends here, or maybe it was because I was confused as to why a human was at our doorstep.
Yes. I had taken the initiative to open the door, and the moment I did, the person I saw there looked human. Her structure, her build, everything, even her scent, gave him off.
"I'm sorry, you're at the wrong house…" I explained, but she immediately shook her head.
"I don't think so. I am not at the wrong house if this is where Liam lives."
The elements of surprise on my face couldn't be hidden, but I was able to fish out the fact that there was a lot going on.
"You know Liam?" I asked, pausing to process, and just like that, words began to flow through my lips. I was scared, shocked, and all the feelings played out without looking back.
"Who is he to you, and what are you doing here?"
