Chapter 7 - Capítulo 7 - Vali Lúcifer III

No matter how you look at it, this place is an abandoned building. From the outside, nature has already started to take over.

I climbed a few flights of stairs. And if there's one thing missing, it's trash. No garbage, no graffiti, nothing that makes it seem like an abandoned place, aside from the building's exterior.

I reached the end after a few floors. It's a separate area in the middle of the building.

Opening the door, I see that the inside is even cleaner than anything I've ever seen in my life. How is it possible for someone to clean like this?

Looking around the place where I was, my gaze shifted to the sofa. There's a big guy with a cat on his shoulder. He looks like a delinquent. He's wearing the same school uniform as Tobio and Natsume.

He's watching TV. Even though he's not really watching anything, just flipping through channels, it still counts as watching… right?

The big guy looked at me. With sharp eyes, he was analyzing me. I didn't need to analyze him; I already know everything about him and much more.

He looks even more like a delinquent in person than in the novel, Kouki Samejima.

"You…?"

"Suoh Mikoto. I'm here on orders from the leader of the crows? You must know him as the Governor-General!"

I know Azazel contacted them, so I don't need to explain much.

"Hmph! Kouki Samejima. Don't get in my way, kid…"

"Oh…"

Lavinia walked down the hallway with a sweet and gentle smile on her beautiful face.

Lavinia stopped upon seeing a boy with red hair. The boy was wearing pants, simple sneakers, and a white shirt tucked out of the pants.

Sensing a faint magical presence emanating from the boy without him using magic.

Lavinia realized who he was. She remembered the description Azazel gave when he contacted her last night. Needless to say, Lavinia was more than surprised—shocked. Only very powerful beings can naturally sense magical power or any other form of energy. But for Lavinia, who wasn't on that list, to be able to sense the magical power of the Red-Haired Boy… Lavinia couldn't imagine how much magical power was needed for magic to constantly overflow from the Red-Haired Boy's body.

Just thinking about the amount of magical power in that small body would make any mage desire him, and Lavinia was no exception.

"Well! You're the Sekiryuutei-kun!"

"Yes! Suoh Mikoto! Beautiful ice-onechan!" Suoh said with an innocent, incredibly fake smile.

To Lavinia, that was very cute. Lavinia couldn't resist, and all of Lavinia's defenses vanished upon being called One-chan!

With incredibly fast speed, Lavinia grabbed Suoh and pressed his face into her large, soft breasts while saying, "You're so cute, So-kun!"

Lavinia was happy. So happy that she started spinning with Suoh, whose face was buried in her breasts.

For any man, it's a wonderful sensation, paradise… But for Suoh, who had his face pressed into the soft, pleasant breasts of Lavinia—the dream of all men, and an even bigger dream for perverts—for Suoh, it was a nightmare!

As a Dragon Slayer, Suoh Mikoto has a terrible weakness caused by his heightened senses.

The human physiology mixed with that of a dragon heightens natural senses to an extreme level, which ends up impairing them during motion, like shaking or swaying; even feeling or seeing something move causes nausea. The one and legendary weakness of Dragon Slayers.

Suoh would normally use an enchantment to cure the nausea. But since he could develop resistance to the enchantment, Suoh doesn't use it to cure his nausea. What creates resistance is the immune system fighting anti-nausea spells as if they were a virus invading the body. The reason for this is that nausea in a Dragon Slayer is natural to the body. Anything that interferes with the natural order isn't good, and the body creates antibodies to fight the anti-nausea spell.

Seeing Suoh looking sick, Lavinia stopped jumping and spinning with him. Confused by Suoh's state, Lavinia asked, "Are you okay, So-kun?"

Swallowing what was stuck in his mouth, Suoh pleaded, "Please, let me go, I beg you!"

Lavinia looked closely at Suoh's face. Not knowing what to do since she didn't understand what was happening to him.

"Hmm, you don't look well, So-kun. How about going to bed to rest?"

Lavinia suggested that Suoh go to bed to rest. Suoh only turned greener, pleading for Lavinia to let him go.

"Just let me go… and I'll get better…"

"Okay! …"

Hearing Suoh, Lavinia released him. The moment Suoh's feet touched the ground, he vanished quickly into the air.

Lavinia was surprised by Suoh's speed.

"So-kun is faster than Va-kun…"

Lavinia walked to the door Suoh had exited through, opened it, and entered.

On the floor, between the sofa and the TV, was Kouki Samejima, his face bloody and swollen, both eyes bruised, missing teeth, a broken nose, and a bump on his head. His Sacred Gear, a white cat that looks like a tiger cub, was by his side, licking his face to comfort him.

"Ah!? Shark-kun, what happened to your face…"

Lavinia ran to help the beaten Kouki. She knelt and started using magic to heal as much as possible or at least alleviate the pain Kouki was feeling from being beaten at a speed absurd for humans.

With a weak voice, Kouki answered what had left him in such a deplorable state.

"Suoh… Mikoto… red brat… a monster…"

"Don't talk, Shark-kun. You're not in any condition…"

I walked across the building's rooftop. The breeze up here is pleasant. There were some cut bottles in the corners of the wall, bottles Tobio used to train the little dog.

"Hmm… the weather's nice. Isn't it, white one?"

"Fuo, yes… Perfect for a fight between dragons…"

Behind me, with his hand raised and his finger pointed at my head, a silver light at the tip, Vali…

Even at this age, Vali is faster, stronger, has more magic and demonic power than everyone in Rias's Occult Research Club and Sona's Student Council a decade from now.

"You should look down!"

I warned Vali, who had his attack aimed at my head, ready to fire.

"Hmm… huh?! Fuo, when?!!"

Vali asked when he noticed the magic circle on the ground that I had prepared the moment he got behind me, right beneath our feet.

It was Dragon Slayer magic; it wouldn't harm me. But for a demon, even a half-demon.

I smiled, giving the answer.

"When you were behind me…"

From the corner of my left eye, I saw him smiling; Vali was excited.

Canceling his demonic magic spell, he followed suit, and I dispelled the magic circle beneath our feet.

"…"

"…"

Vali jumped back, and Suoh turned, also jumping back, both moving away from each other.

They locked eyes with murderous intent, their eyes gleaming with power.

Vali moved his hand to the center of his chest and pointed at himself.

"Fuo, you may have won with the Sacred Gear, but… without the Sacred Gear? How would you fare against the descendant of Lucifer, a Maou and Dragon?"

Suoh laughed and replied, "Hahaha… I can defeat you easily without magic."

"Fuo, don't be so cocky, red one," Vali said with a scowl, losing his smile.

Suoh and Vali locked eyes again. The world seemed to slow down for both in that split second.

With the world seemingly slow, they moved, running, pulling their right arms back. With a forward leap, they threw their arms with clenched fists.

Their fists connected in a punch, they locked eyes, their feet touched the ground, and they stepped back.

They rushed forward quickly. Vali attacked the face with his right hand; Suoh blocked with his left arm and grabbed Vali's hand.

Vali attacked with a left punch; Suoh released the right arm, ducked, and landed a punch on Vali's left cheek. Suoh then grabbed Vali's left arm, pulled him, and with his left fist, Suoh hit Vali hard on the chin, sending him upward.

In the air, Vali extended his hand toward Suoh and fired a silver magic attack. A demonic power bullet, a basic demon attack.

Suoh dodged by jumping back, and Vali kept firing as Suoh moved away until Suoh reached the rooftop door. Vali fired, Suoh jumped up, and stood atop the door on the building's rooftop.

Vali stopped firing and landed on the rooftop floor, not taking his eyes off Suoh above the door.

Both narrowed their eyes.

Suoh leaped from the door, arm already pulled back and fist clenched, descending straight toward Vali with a punch.

Vali dodged to the side. Suoh opened his fist, used his hand to touch the ground and balance himself, then swiftly attacked with one of his legs. Vali dodged and blocked with his arms. Suoh pushed off with his arms and leaped behind Vali, using his hands on the rooftop floor.

Vali turned, jumped back, and Suoh stood at a distance.

They looked at each other, and blood dripped from Vali's left cheek.

Vali wiped his cheek without taking his eyes off Suoh. 'When he leaped, his nail… how is it possible, just his nail, and it cut me, without magic?' Vali thought, surprised, wiping the blood from his cheek.

"How did you injure me like that? Without magic," Vali asked. Suoh smiled.

"I'm stronger, faster, more talented; I'm superior to you filthy demons," Suoh replied, smiling cruelly. Having been hunted his whole life, he hates demons, even half-demons.

"You bastard…" Vali gritted his teeth. "I'm the Maou, superior to a mere human."

"And this mere human drew the Maou's blood without using magic, while the Maou used his demonic power to strengthen his body…" Suoh lost the smile from his face, then raised his head, showing pride and superiority as he spoke. "Useless Maou…"

"Bastard…" Vali activated the wings of Divine Dividing and charged even faster.

Suoh assumed a combat stance and used a bit of magic to boost his speed with an enchantment.

Vali threw a punch at Suoh's face.

At that moment, a wall of ice rose between them.

xXx

This ice wall? Lavinia! I let my guard down. I couldn't sense her presence. What an idiot I was to get careless in the middle of a fight.

"Va-kun, So-kun. Stop this now; your murderous intent can be felt from miles away."

After hearing Lavinia, I stepped out of my combat stance. Vali retracted Divine Dividing. Seeing this, Lavinia made the ice wall disappear.

"That's better. Lunch will be ready soon; don't forget to eat. You're still growing kids."

"Hey, red!" I looked back and saw Vali at the edge of the rooftop. "This isn't over." With those words, Vali jumped off the building.

He's going to use the window to get to his room. So rude.

"Where's my room?" I asked Lavinia; she seemed to be thinking about something important. "Oh, yes, I'll take you there, So-kun."

"Thanks."

Now that I'm officially entering this world, I won't lose to the White One. I'll be superior to Vali, not a weakling like the protagonist.
