When Lynn and Nami stepped outside, Zoro had already beaten back the navy, and Luffy was being dragged away by the chefs to serve as a handyman—who else but Luffy would punch a hole in the roof?
At the restaurant, they spotted Sanji holding Navy Lieutenant Fullbody in a tight grip.
Lynn sighed, "What are you staring at? Let's eat already. I just woke up and I'm starving!"
Nami gave Lynn a blank look.
Grinning mischievously, Lynn raised an eyebrow at her, reminding Nami of their earlier moment. It felt good, but she had a mission to focus on! Her cheeks flushed as she quickly turned and said, "Let's go inside."
Soon, a sumptuous meal was served. As they ate, Luffy came down the stairs and suddenly lost his composure.
"You guys ate this delicious food without me? That's not fair!"
"Not fair?" Lynn grabbed Luffy's collar and scolded, "You talk about being Pirate King, but here you are doing odd jobs! You idiot, don't you know pirates are free? How can you be so indecisive? Piracy is a promising career, and you're making it a joke! You're a disgrace to the industry!"
Everyone burst out laughing at Lynn's harsh words.
Piracy—a promising career? A disgrace to the industry?
Nami couldn't hold it in and slapped the table while clutching her stomach, laughing so hard she drew Sanji's attention.
The wolf-like cook dashed over and dropped to one knee, proclaiming dramatically, "Ocean, thank you for this fateful encounter. Love, forgive my weakness—I'm ready to follow you whether you're pirate or demon!"
Everyone around Nami frowned. How could this guy compete with Lynn?
Speaking of Lynn, he was standing next to Sanji, pulling out paper and pen from the system to take notes on Sanji's "love confession."
Sanji blinked, annoyed. "Who are you? What do you think you're doing?"
Lynn urged, "Keep going! I need material for charming pretty girls next time."
Sanji's face darkened. "Are you mocking me, bastard?"
Luffy, clutching his stomach from laughing, said, "Zoro, Usopp, look! They're alike."
Lynn pointed at Sanji and rolled his eyes. "Who's similar to this pervy cook?"
Sanji growled, "Watch your mouth or I'll beat you up."
Before Lynn could respond, the restaurant owner Zeff stepped forward.
"Sanji, you want to fight with customers again? Why don't you just become a pirate with that straw hat kid? This restaurant doesn't need you anymore!"
Sanji snapped, "What did you say, old man? I'm the sous chef here! How could I leave—"
Zeff ignored him and went back to cooking.
Luffy grinned and said, "Sanji promised to be a pirate. Come on, join me!"
Sanji shook his head, "Forget piracy. I have my reasons to stay."
After some chatting, Luffy forgot he was still a handyman and started fooling around—only to be kicked and dragged back to the kitchen by Sanji.
Lynn looked on weakly. "Is this Luffy's strength?"
Nami rolled her eyes. "What kind of strength is that?"
Lynn explained, "No matter who he's with, he's patient enough to get along with others. If I were in his shoes, I'd have chopped that cook to pieces for teasing you, Nami."
Everyone's faces darkened. Lynn, you're not much better!
But who cared what others thought? Lynn casually sat next to Nami again.
"Nami…"
She rolled her eyes. "I don't have money."
"Don't be stingy. The food here really is delicious…"
Before Lynn could finish, a marine with blood on his forehead burst into the restaurant.
He spotted Lieutenant Fullbody and blurted, "Oh no! Lieutenant Fullbody, Gin from the Kreig Pirates—he escaped!"
Fullbody broke into a cold sweat. "Impossible! He was starving when we caught him, and we didn't feed him for days. How did he escape?"
Before Fullbody could react, gunfire suddenly rang out.
"Bang!"
"Ah!!"
The marine collapsed, and a tall, thin man appeared in the doorway—it was Gin from the Kreig Pirates.
Lynn was caught off guard. What was going on? Did the marine just die like that?
More shockingly, no one in the restaurant seemed to care; it was just normal.
Lynn had watched anime before but had never seen anything like this—this was real life!
He fell into deep thought: This world is definitely not normal.
Still, Lynn wasn't ready to act. If he took on Gin now, what about Kreig Pirates? That was the real big fish!
Gin, so confident, had even pulled a gun on Paddy, a restaurant waiter, asking for help.
But Paddy simply pressed Gin to the ground and pinned him.
Lynn exclaimed, "Good job! Beat him for me! Want me to help?"
Zoro, Usopp, and the others stared at Lynn, confused.
Paddy, whose chin was almost bigger than his head, grinned and said, "Don't bother me with small stuff. I'm Paddy, waiter here. Don't underestimate me."
Lynn waved his hand, "Honestly, I want to kick that marine a few times. Can he be saved?"
A voice nearby answered, "He's dead."
Nami looked confused. "Why do you care about the marines? You're a pirate!"
Lynn cleared his throat, attracting everyone's attention.
Instinctively, Lynn looked up at the ceiling—at exactly a 45-degree angle.
Zoro sneered internally. "Here he goes again with the showboating."
Usopp and Nami exchanged looks. Why did this feel so familiar?
The guests and waiters, intrigued by Lynn's reputation for kindness, waited expectantly to see what he'd say next.
