Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Falcon V Duval PT1

The turbulence in the building stopped and Clive looked at the other man sitting opposite to Duval. "What was that just now?"

The man who captured Lia opened his eyes—he was quiet for a couple of minutes and while his eyes were open, the pupils gained a strange pinwheel formation to them. The pinwheel pattern disappeared shortly. "We are under attack by the ThunderGod Tribe." the man informed, nonchalantly shrugging his shoulders.

Clive clicked her tongue in frustration and Duval slammed his hands together, a beaming smile on his face—this was exactly what he was waiting for, the perfect opportunity to prove that among the six masters, he the six master of strength was the strongest, far stronger than Yakeen.

He got up. "Tell master I went to meet our guests." He jumped up destroying the roof in the process.

Duval landed on the roof adjacent to the build he was in and his grin only increased—his prey were littered on the Sect Grounds and in the sky. They were engaged in a fierce battle and watching the disciples that followed the Blood Cultivation practice fight with all they stood for, made his blood race in excitement. He breathed in and loosened the knots in his neck by moving it side to side for a moment.

SIX TECHNIQUE: GRIM REAPER STRENGTH

A combination of his six techniques and Blood cultivation ability—he clapped his hands releasing a powerful wave of Neuro-Qi which washed over the battlefield—the Qi peeled away the tiles on the roof sending them flying but the true intention came from the blood that painted the Sect ground—given command, the blood moved in unity gathering on the pillar leading up to Duval and they formed a tendril unit that created a grim reaper scythe.

Duval grasped the scythe in his hand tightly and licked the blood bringing an activation of the secondary phase of the ability he cast—his skin turned red like a demon, his muscles bulked up and he grew a bit. He let out a primal roar that sent fear down the hearts of those who heard him—with a swing, Duval completely changed the tide of battle, his lone swing split the ground killing allies and enemies unfortunate enough to be trapped in his path and their blood gathered around him in small flowers and each flower had five pedals which were crumbling bit by bit with every attack he made.

The numbers of the ThunderGod Tribe on the Sect ground were quickly diminishing from Duval's unrelentless attacks—Falcon watched from a distance and stepped forward.

The suit he wore slowly faded into his skin leaving Falcon behind—he had brown hair and a scar over one eye, his brown eyes stared at the destruction the man was causing and without waiting for the leader leaped into action—his feet left the ground and he gained some elevation until there was nothing between him and his target, Duval.

Falcon extended his hand and the suit integrated with his body became an extension of his flesh creating a barrel that stretched from his palm.

DARK PULSE DESPAIR

Dark Neuro-Qi gathered in the barrel and a sonic bursting sound echoed throughout the mountain just as the barrel fired a massive beam of dark tendrils that weaved together in a snaking pattern as they approached Duval—the latter saw the incoming attack, and precise eyes aided by technological advancements tracked the massive moving blast and the person behind them and in a second Duval jumped from the building, his body shot in the direction of the incoming beam and using the momentum of his push—Duval began rotating his body rapidly till he was like a sawblade flying through the air at tremendous speeds and he cut through the beam cleanly sending the remnants of the attack sporadically into the Sect Grounds further increasing the death toll occurring on the said grounds.

Duval came to a stop and hovered on the air outside of the Sect grounds putting himself between Falcon and the mountain the Red Clad Sect called home—He grinned, his fangs visible to the world. "If it isn't the sky king Falcon of the ThunderGod Tribe, bold of your puny Sect to attack us."

Falcon lowered his hand hearing the man talk. "As pompous as usual trash." His words were cold and calculated for a maximum ragebait.

But Duval did not fall for it, he simply stared at Falcon with his grin ever-so-present. "Trash? Haha, coming from you? I'd expect those words from Elephant not you."

Falcon's expression darkened and Duval's grin exceeded human capacity—Ragebait? Was successful and he knew it from the murderous glint Falcon had and he wanted to press on, annoy the latter until he made mistakes. "Aww, I forgot that Elephant died like a dog he was."

DARK WAVE

"Shut Your Mouth!" Falcon uttered through gritted teeth and a wave of darkness oozed from his pore creating multiple barrels as per the suit's capabilities—the barrels shot a myriad of blasts of darkness which honed in on Duval.

SIX TECHNIQUE: FLASH STEP

Duval's body disappeared just as the blasts connected to where he was, creating a massive explosion that split the clouds—the grandeur attack did not hit the intended target however, it only hit where Duval's afterimage was.

Blood flew from Falcon as a large gash appeared on his chest diagonally bisecting his torso—the attack was not deep as Duval had intended as the suit beneath Falcon's skin acted as a tough exoskeletal shield absorbing most of the damage.

Duval looked at the attack and the byproduct and clicked his tongue. "Too shallow." He looked at Falcon. "You are tougher than you look."

Falcon did not reply—his attention although on Duval was split between keeping an eye on Duval and healing himself. Get your bearings right, no unnecessary moves. Falcon knew that in a straight fight, his arsenal was not built for fighting individuals like his opponent there—he was more of a long range, high damage dealer than a brawler. Run an analysis of the terrain and give the optimal one for cornering him.

Falcon grinned to himself, the place the suit found was perfect for what he had in mind—The thrusters his suit had opened and Neuro-Qi charged up and Falcon blasted away at high speeds.

Duval chuckled. "Running away?" but that did not matter, he exerted his will over the blood that was still under his control—with the blood following him, Duval flew after Falcon.

He landed in a clearing surrounded by trees—he focused on his Neuro-Qi detection and couldn't find Falcon which was weird to him as he was a cultivator of the awakened saint realm stronger than Yakeen and his sensing of Neuro-Qi was close to unbeatable in the Sect yet the man he was fighting alluded it? That was impossible—something was not right.

It started with his knees—Duval knelt on the ground after a blast shot him from behind cutting his ankles and forcing him to kneel, then his back—this time it came from above pinning him to the ground face first and it kept applying pressure burning through his skin and tissues with every continued attack.

Duval cracked an eye open—despite the pain he felt, he could master the strength to look at the course and he cussed seeing Falcon standing there with a triumphant smirk.

You bastard
