Clearing a map isn't just about clicking a button, He was practically fighting the Evil of the World right inside it's Domain and also using Light spells.
Due to multiple Control Based spells and long term boring but brain intensive research my mind felt that clearing the map was rather easy.
It was indeed so.
It was much harder to sit in the Lab and calculate figures even if it felt exciting trying to peel layers upon Layers of Truth and becoming Stronger at an Alarming Rate.
But here I had to only control Flight Trajectories and smash spells everywhere.
Not as intensive but still a bit troublesome.
Finally, After nine hours of continuous flight, the "Boring Process" started to take its toll.
He had cleared roughly 30,000 square kilometers—a territory larger than some small nations—but when he looked at his internal map, his heart sank.
The Unified Continent was 149 million square kilometers.
He had essentially cleaned a single tile in a mansion the size of a planet.
Damn it.
Simply Ridiculous.
How can those Chinese Protagonists Clear Trillions of Kilometers in Hours when they write about Landmasses of Boundless Universes or something?
Is the Author really that Crazy?
I sighed at the Unfairness of those idiot Authors who can Clear the Universe in one freaking Day.
Isn't it the time to travel and preparations that took so damn long?
I get the fact that fights take seconds to end on higher Planes since those guys have significantly higher processing speeds.
But conquest should be extremely difficult.
But sighing won't really matter.
Looking at The gray desert that seemed to stretch on and on, seemingly infinite, and the black ink continued to pour out of the fog like a leaking pen that would never run dry.
For nine hours, he maintained a steady cruise across the ashen horizon.
He cleared roughly 30,000 square kilometers of the 149 million that made up the Unified Continent.
To a mortal, this was a legendary feat—a single man reclaiming the land of a small nation in a single afternoon.
But Mu Zhong looked at his internal map and saw the truth.
He had cleared 0.02% of the world or even less.
The gray desert stretched on, seemingly infinite, and the black ink continued to pour out of the fog, driven by the instinctual hunger of the planet's corruption.
Even though Mu Zhong felt only a minor "Mental Fatigue"—the kind of annoyance one feels after a long day of data entry—the scale of the task was clear.
"As expected, this will take some time,"
Mu Zhong thought..
"Indeed Brother Mu."
Eris replied, her voice now calm since 9 hours had already passed enough to lower the excitement, since even as a Goddess her Age was definitely higher than The Age of China in Mu Zhong's world.
Something seem to tick Eris as she felt.
'Did someone talk bad about me?'
{Author: I didn't mention a single Word about Anyone's Age.
Truck-Kun rolled his eyes as he took another pack of Popcorn.
Truck-God: Right! Right! (Laughter)
Tractor-kun:…
Tractor-God:…
Author continues to watch silently while cursing a Certain Truck-God}
After Shaking her Head Eris continued to talk.
"Why is the Demon King not Coming out?"
It's probably because he is sleeping too deeply.
Or maybe trying to seal himself Deeper?
Maybe.
Maybe Not.
Maybe all of this is a Giant Load of Bullshit and nothing I have theorized actually happened."
Said Mu Zhong Casually while Flying and Bombarding the Area.
"It took something as Crazy as Evil of the World a whole 20 Years to reach from somewhere in the East of the Continent to the now West side of the Continent so this Progress is perfectly fine right, Brother Mu?"Asked Eris as I shook my head.
"At full speed I can easily circle the Continent in a several minutes to a few Hours.
But the Black Calamity had to spread from almost the center (Demon Domain, Demon King's Castle) to another (Human Domain).
In fact Julian could simply throw Evil of the World Everywhere and no one would be able to stop it in the slightest.
A Year of survival will be extremely lucky under the impact of this Virus like thing."
I said as I knew the stats myself unlike Eris who was a bit inexperienced in such matters.
"I just hope I don't have to plough the entire continent just to take Julian out otherwise at this rate it might take Years."
He thought and said with a sigh and then turned back at Mach 2 Speed reaching the Fortress in a Few minutes.
He looked down at the 30,000 square kilometers of golden craters he had left behind.
They looked like glowing freckles on the face of a corpse.
With Light and dark element subtly fighting and getting dominated in an instant while Light getting dominated at the periphery instead.
A bit bizarre yes but even Light Element needed time to heal this kind of thorough Destruction.
He hadn't "saved" the world yet—the diseased ground would only truly be taken back once the source was dead—but he had already begun to colour the map.
Now all he had to do was continue to find Julian and then take him out.
Once he's out he can easily Borrow Goddesses's power and burst into Continental-Rank Early-Stage Power and then Use [God-Mode] Skill to reach at least Continental-Rank Middle-Stage and finally use a super spell to heal the Continent in one fell swoop
Soon he reached back to the Fortress where a Worried Baby was standing as I wryly smiled while looking at the Little Girl who was there for quite a while.
Mu Zhong touched down on the fortress ramparts, the golden glow of his wings fading into the cool evening air.
He didn't wait for a formal greeting; seeing the "Baby" Saintess waiting for him, he walked over and gave Clara's cheek a lingering, affectionate pinch.
"I'm back, Clara-chan.
Did you miss me, or were you just making sure I didn't get lost and find another cute girl?"
"Humph!
Bad Big Brother!
Bad!"
Clara squirmed with a bright red face and puffed up Hamster like cheeks, batting his hand away with a huff that fooled no one, and followed him alongside Iriel and the high-ranking Legion Captains toward the command center for the nightly debrief.
Inside the stone-walled room, the atmosphere was uncharacteristically relaxed.
Iriel began the report, her voice lacking its usual edge of desperation.
"Because of your... 'carpet bombing' sortie today, the front-lines were essentially a Ghost Land,"
