At noon, Luna and Emily headed out to grab some lunch. As they sat down at a nearby café, Emily noticed Luna's tired expression. "Hey, you don't look so good today. Didn't sleep well last night?" Emily asked, concern etched on her face. Luna rubbed her eyes, "Yeah, it's just the workload. Been stressing about meeting deadlines for the quarterly financial reports." Emily leaned in, "Luna, what do you think they're discussing?" Luna shook her head, "No idea, but I'm curious."
Luna decided to grab some files and head to Kadren's office to discuss the upcoming financial projections. As she stepped into the elevator, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was brewing. Who was the mystery person her colleagues were raving about?
Luna stepped out of the elevator and walked down the hallway to her boss's office. She adjusted her blazer and took a deep breath, mentally preparing herself for the meeting. As she approached the door, she knocked twice, the sound echoing through the corridor. Her boss's voice called out, "Come in," his tone flat but authoritative.
Luna opened the door and stepped inside, her eyes scanning the room as she greeted him. "Good afternoon, sir. I brought the financial projections for the new project." She walked towards his desk, files in hand, ready to present her ideas. "I'd like to propose—"
