Just like falling through the magical tunnel, it was too curious and too mysterious. He could see everything he had gone through in his life. It was just like a flashback rolling through the tunnel. He could see himself as a kid. He could see his father, grandfather, and grandmother as he moved up through the tunnel. He was seeing everything he had experienced in his life, just like a television playing his memories.
First, he saw how happy he was with his grandfather and mother. Then he saw how happy he was playing with his friend and how much he enjoyed going to school—everything felt so pure, filled with a sense of happiness.
Now, suddenly, he felt cold. His breathing could be heard, and the whole tunnel turned dark. It was cold enough that the water vapor in his breath froze as soon as he exhaled. He saw a red lamp far ahead and an old house. It looked like something from a dream he used to see again and again.
He heard a scream, and a bright light flashed, making him blind for a while.
After a while, he felt like he was not moving anymore, and he sensed something warm. Slowly, he opened his eyes. Everything was blurry at first, but after a moment, when his vision cleared, he saw a beautiful garden. It looked so serene, almost as if he was in heaven. For a moment, he thought he was dead. He touched himself, but he didn't feel like a dead person. Yet, at the same time, he felt like he was in heaven.
He realized he was lying on something soft, and suddenly, a tiny creature started screaming, "Get up! Get up!" It was a very small being, shaped somewhat like an ant, but it was female. She looked beautiful, with delicate features, and had wings. The boy suddenly sat up, and the tiny creature flew back slightly.
He looked at her, confused, and asked, "Who are you? Am I… dead?"
The little creature came closer to his face, examined him for a moment, and then said, "You don't belong here, do you, boy?"
She was small like an ant, but she could fly like an angel. She had legs like a human, and her voice was high-pitched yet commanding. She suddenly screamed and called for her friends. Within moments, many others like her appeared, flying around him, whispering in confusion.
The boy, frightened, leaned back and tried to move away. The creatures surrounded him, but one of them spoke gently, "You don't have to be afraid, boy. You are safe with us… but you are not safe in this world."
The boy frowned. "World? Where am I?"
The flying creatures exchanged confused glances. They knew he wasn't from their world, and people from another world weren't supposed to be here. One of them asked, "Are your parents still in your world?"
The boy looked down and muttered, "No… they died in an accident. But why are you asking me this? Where am I?"
He was growing more confused, his eyes scanning the strange place around him. Suddenly, the little creature reached out and touched his forehead. The moment she did, she saw all his memories flash before her eyes. She gasped, her expression turning to pure terror.
"You… how can you be here?"
She turned to the others with a horrified look in her eyes. The other creatures froze. "What happened?" one of them asked.
"He is the one… from there," she whispered, her voice trembling.
The others shivered, their wings fluttering in unease. Then, another figure stepped forward—a creature that seemed to be the leader of the group. His aura was different, powerful. He looked at the boy with deep concern and said, "You cannot go back. You are here now… and you can die here."
The boy's heart pounded. "Why? Why can't I die? What do you mean?"
The leader of the flying creatures motioned to him. "Come with me. You are safe here… but not in this world."
They led him through a mysterious forest, a place unlike anything he had ever seen. The trees were massive, glowing faintly with strange energy. The entire forest looked alive, filled with different kinds of creatures, plants, and an atmosphere that felt magical. But the boy didn't believe in magic.
The small creature guided him toward an enormous tree at the heart of the forest. As soon as the leader touched the tree with his staff, the entire tree reacted—it moved as if it were alive. Its massive arms stretched out and wrapped around them, pulling them inside.
And then, suddenly, everything went black.
When the boy opened his eyes again, he found himself in a dream—a dream so vivid, so unreal, yet it explained everything about this world. He saw things he had never believed possible…
In his dream, a deep voice began explaining the story, and he could see everything being described as if it were unfolding before his eyes.
It started like this:
"A very long time ago, there were two worlds—one with magic and one without. They coexisted in harmony, deeply connected to each other. The people of both worlds shared emotions, celebrated happiness together, and mourned each other's sadness. Everything they did, they did together.
But one day, a man from the magical world unknowingly killed a human. When he did, something strange happened—he gained an immense amount of power. Confused, he studied what had happened and eventually discovered an ancient law. Long before the magical and non-magical worlds separated, when only a few people existed, certain rules had been unknowingly embedded into the system of existence. If a magical being killed a non-magical being, the magical being would receive extraordinary power. Similarly, if a human killed a magical being, the human would gain heightened intelligence and superior logical abilities.
Once the man realized that killing humans granted him power, he began slaughtering them in large numbers. Over time, he became the most powerful being in existence. At first, the two worlds still lived together—many people from both sides wished for peace. But the greed for magic and power corrupted the balance. War broke out.
The most powerful magical being continued killing humans, and as a result, the human population rapidly declined. His strength became so great that he even gained the power to challenge the very inventor of the world itself. He sought to kill the world's creator and take control of everything, planning to eradicate all humans to absorb their power.
But when he went to kill the inventor, the creator of the world fought back with a magical force unlike anything ever seen. Their battle shook reality itself. In the end, both the creator and the most powerful magical being perished.
Before his death, the inventor made a final decision—he separated the two worlds completely. The humans were given a smaller land, which was called Earth, while the magical beings were given a vast land, named Starrbar-N. The worlds were sealed off from each other, making it impossible for anyone, no matter how powerful, to cross between them.
Peace was restored. To maintain balance, a system was established to regulate the level of power in each world. In the human world, intelligence and logical thinking became the dominant abilities, while in the magical world, people were given varying levels of magical power. Some were born with immense strength, while others had little. But overall, humans became far more intelligent than the magical beings.
However, a few years ago, something unusual happened. A mysterious magical being somehow crossed into the human world—something that was supposed to be impossible. There, he killed a human and gained an extraordinary amount of power.
Not long after, he attacked a highly powerful figure in the magical world—the headmaster of the most prestigious magical school. Although the attacker was eventually captured, he managed to escape just a few hours ago. He returned to the human world, where something even more terrifying occurred.
The headmaster, who was believed to be the strongest being in the magical world, had never been able to travel between the worlds. Yet, this being could.
The headmaster began researching him, trying to understand how he had broken the ancient laws. But before he could find answers, the being killed another human.
And now… he is trying to kill a specific boy."
The voice paused, then continued.
"I can see it in your eyes. That boy is you."
The boy's dream faded into darkness, and suddenly, he woke up.
Standing before him was the headmaster—the same one he had seen in his vision.
The headmaster looked down at him and said, "Ah, so you already know me. I assume you saw me in your dream."
He sighed, then added, "I will take you to the school. It is the safest place for you right now. If anyone finds out that you are a human, they will fight to kill you… for your power."
The headmaster took the boy to the magical school, pretending that the boy was from the magical world. He did this in the hope that, despite being human, the boy might still be able to learn magic.
And so, the boy was forced to attend magic classes, beginning his journey in the magical world's most prestigious school.
