"Another world?"
Sasuke's gaze towards Karin held little trust.
He wasn't like Naruto, as he didn't easily believe others.
But with Naruto here, he believed this so-called alternate-world Karin couldn't cause much trouble.
Thinking this, Sasuke finally remembered why he had rushed back.
"Right, Naruto, I found a ruins site belonging to the Otsutsuki Clan."
As he spoke, he took out a scroll, though its contents were unreadable to everyone present.
"Even using my Rinnegan, I can't decipher the information on it."
"Wait, you said Otsutsuki?"
Karin interjected at this point.
Previously, the Naruto from her world, after several encounters with the Nature Will, had also obtained some information about the 'extraterrestrial race'.
He didn't hoard this crucial information like a movie protagonist would, but instead shared it casually with everyone in the team during mealtime conversations.
The name that appeared most frequently was the 'Otsutsuki' Clan.
Naruto, seeing Karin's surprised expression, caught on.
"Oh right, based on the timeline you described, your group shouldn't have encountered the Otsutsuki Clan yet at that point."
Unexpectedly, Karin shook her head and proceeded to explain about the heroic Naruto and the Nature Will.
"...That's precisely why the masked man, unable to capture any Jinchuriki from Naruto-san, chose to alter history through time travel."
As she spoke, Karin seemed to remember something and slapped her palm.
"Ah! I remember now!"
"You must have fought that masked man too, right? As a favor to your other selves, could you share his relevant intel?"
"Especially that intangible ability. If it weren't for that, we could have finished him off in Amegakure last time."
Hearing this, Naruto and Sasuke, who had experienced Pain's assault on Konoha and the Great Ninja War, exchanged a glance, both seeing astonishment in each other's eyes regarding their alternate selves' combat prowess.
'Judging by this Karin's current age, we in her timeline shouldn't be much older. How could they be so powerful?'
Nevertheless, the two began recounting information about the masked man and subsequent events.
After all, this wasn't classified, and the entire Allied Shinobi Forces who participated had witnessed it.
Boruto, however, was hearing this for the first time. His eyes widened gradually as he learned that his good-for-nothing father, who was either sleeping or working overtime, had actually undergone such thrilling 'world-saving' operations.
"The masked man's true identity wasn't the Uchiha Madara he claimed to be, but a Ninja named Uchiha Obito. And his Sharingan ability..."
Perhaps because Naruto was more articulate, he took the lead in the narration, with Sasuke occasionally adding details.
From the 'old couple's' account, the Fourth Great Ninja War slowly unfolded before Karin's eyes.
From Obito summoning 100,000 White Zetsu and various reanimated powerful Ninjas to face the 80,000-strong Allied Shinobi Forces, to Madara's reanimated body dominating the battlefield, and Obito fully becoming the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki.
Incidentally, they also explained the nature of the Tailed Beasts and their relationship with the Otsutsuki Clan to Karin.
The subsequent plot was full of twists and turns.
First, Obito lost control but was later awakened by Naruto. Then, Madara seized this power, becoming an entity similar to the Sage of Six Paths.
Yet, even such a terrifying figure was backstabbed by the inconspicuous Black Zetsu, who used his body to fully unleash the sealed Otsutsuki Kaguya.
Karin listened with sparkling eyes, and Boruto wore a similar expression.
"What happened next? How did you defeat that Otsutsuki Kaguya?"
"Defeat?"
The 'old couple' exchanged a glance, and Sasuke answered her.
"We didn't defeat her."
"Otsutsuki Kaguya is hailed as the Progenitor of Chakra. Almost all Ninjutsu on this planet are ineffective against her."
Sasuke and Naruto were completely suppressed during their final battle with Kaguya. Ultimately, they relied on power bestowed by the legendary Sage of Six Paths, awakening Yin-Yang power, to reseal Kaguya.
"So, Otsutsuki Kaguya is still inside the moon right now?"
Karin's tone when she said this seemed somewhat dissatisfied.
From her perspective, such a mortal enemy must be eradicated completely.
'Simply sealing them away was just planting future trouble, wasn't it?'
However, neither Sasuke nor Naruto felt the need to explain further.
They understood that Karin, having never experienced the battle against Kaguya firsthand, couldn't comprehend it.
Against such an enemy, sealing was the best possible outcome.
Karin simply nodded in the end. The other two, including the adult Konohamaru, listened with fascinated expressions.
Konohamaru was also hearing the details of that battle from Naruto for the first time.
"Naruto-nii is too amazing!"
He even forgot to address Naruto as Hokage.
Boruto was also deeply stirred, but due to the unresolved barrier between him and his father, he had to force an 'it's nothing special' expression.
Karin was different. She directly pulled out a notebook and began meticulously recording various important points.
Things like the enemy's objectives, abilities, and weaknesses.
Halfway through, she looked up again.
"So, both your arms were lost during that battle..."
Hearing Karin's seemingly probing question, Sasuke sighed.
He was starting to think that a Karin who didn't idolize him could be just as annoying.
"His arm was destroyed by me."
Just as Sasuke was about to explain, Naruto spoke first.
He even gestured towards his other bandaged arm.
"I didn't get off easy either. This arm was also destroyed in our fight. This one is a cultivated transplant."
"Oh~"
Karin looked at Naruto's arm, then her eyes shifted between Naruto and Sasuke. She didn't ask why they fought or why Sasuke also cultivated an arm for transplantation.
Her instincts told her it was another one of those unspoken understandings between men.
Snap!
Karin closed her notebook with a snap and tucked it into her already considerable cleavage.
"Thank you for your cooperation. This intelligence is really useful for us."
As she spoke, Karin bowed politely to the two, a demeanor quite different from her initial lively appearance.
This actually caught the 'old couple' off guard.
"It's getting late, so I won't disturb you further."
Looking at the nearly dusk sky outside, Karin turned to the people in the room.
"Then I'll be off to find a way back. See you all if we meet again-"
With that, Karin spread her wings, about to fly out of the room.
But her movement was stopped by Naruto.
"Wait, Karin… may I call you that?"
Looking at the face that, apart from the hairstyle, wasn't much different from her Naruto-san's, Karin pursed her lips but didn't fly off immediately.
"How do you plan to get back?"
"By finding the Ryumyaku... since that's how I came here."
"Ah… that one..."
Hearing Karin's words, Naruto's face showed an 'as expected' expression, mixed with some embarrassment.
