The darkness wasn't empty.
As Elias crossed the threshold, his senses adjusted to the new environment. What had initially appeared as void resolved into something far more complex—a space that existed in a state of perfect continuity, where every point flowed seamlessly into the next without discrete boundaries.
It was disorienting even for someone with 99% Infinity Law comprehension.
The chamber was vast, easily several miles across, though exact measurements felt meaningless here. The walls, floor, and ceiling—if those terms even applied—were composed of flowing darkness that contained infinite gradations of shadow. Not black and white, but every possible shade between them, transitioning so smoothly that identifying where one ended and another began was impossible.
And stretching across the center of this space was the bridge.
Elias stopped at its edge, studying the structure with intense focus.
