Kyra's POV
After our one wild night together, I asked Kieran to give me some space the next morning—but two whole days went by without a word from him. His absence sent my inner wolf, Sylvia, into a frenzy. "He should be here," she kept whining day after day, pacing ceaselessly in my mind.
Over the weekend, my apartment was unusually quiet. Even Nathan hadn't tried to see or talk to me. Strangely, that calm comforted me a bit. Deep down, I knew they were just trying to give me some breathing room—I knew them well enough. Their persistence was legendary; they never stopped reminding me of what they thought I deserved.
"Ma'am, our orders are piling up today. It's keeping us busy—but that's good news," said Yara as she arranged bouquets in the shop.
