Abocu
I closed my eyes and counted till ten. This was not happening. Both the kids were standing as soldiers in front of her with their heads bowed and hands behind their back. For a split second I almost pitied them till I saw her face covered by the veil and remembered I was in that position because of them.
"A well acquitted citizen of the country at that. Nice to meet you, King"
She laughed and I let her, when I wanted to maim the bitch. I rolled my eyes.
"Very well!". I said, with a biting smile on my face. "It was nice to meet you. I'll see myself off now"
Her umbrella which she held opened and created a boundary around me.
"Lupia"
With one word of hers, I was flying in a different dimension. Everything was in pixels and I couldn't see past the four walls in blues and reds, except hear the ringing laughter of her. I had half a mind to rip through the dimensions but it meant playing into her hands.
For a split second, everything went silent and a giant bunny appeared in the middle with Lupia on its back.
"Release me when you have the time. Don't mistaken my patience"
He finally opened his mouth. He bowed before he spoke.
"I know very well, your highness. But I must listen to mother"
"Hey! Hey!"
He disappeared leaving me with the giant animal. The world around me tilted and I slid off into the mouth of the giant bunny with large sharp teeth, its eyes as crimson as the blood that poured from the cut on my hand because of his canine.
I sat inside the belly for what felt like hours till the digestive juices started bubbling inside the stomach. I held onto its intestines and had no option but to rip open the walls with my claws. A loud shriek echoed as blood mingled with guts wrapped around me gushed out, rendering it death.
I was in another dimension when that happened. I just needed to hold onto till his powers ran out. I tsked. In front of me was a mansion standing tall over me. Its roofs piercing through the colourful sky like a unicorn had vomited on it. I grimaced at the sight.
"Billy, billy"
A dinosaur toy with a sheep came round me riding a bicycle from the front of the mansion. Soon I watched as the sky was rinsed out of its colour and turned pale greyish. A storm brewed beneath as the sky rumbled and the chants of the toys got louder.
I quickly ran inside the mansion and shut myself up.
A red ball came rolling towards me, landing on my feet. I picked it up and it cracked open in two as a chit fell to the floor.
Mother never smiles.
I looked around and found portraits of his mother on the wall, having little of his father and twin sister. It was all in greyscale. I checked the drawers and there were unfinished paintings inside. I tried to look into it when I was sucked out of the place into the real world.
I gasped, my vision turning hazy. It took me more than a second to see where I exactly was. It wasn't a pretty sight to look at her face right as I managed to escape from the horrid place. Yet here we were.
"That's why you are good for nothing, Lupia. You were supposed to hold him up longer"
Lupia hunched and looked down sad. I rolled my eyes and glared at her.
"Amry"
I jolted as a voice deeper than the seas spoke from behind me. I reckoned that the place we were at was their hideout in Esvani. The Eight Snake always operated in secrecy.
A red threat wound around me as I beheld the face of Morga Galvika, the father and beside him his older brother Shua Galvika. They wore their traditional attire which was dark red with the heads of animal engraved on the cotton fabric.
I was a bug for them to play with at that moment. I gritted my teeth. A grin made its way in Shua's face at the sight of me. He walked towards me and dared to touch me. I used my soul energy to fend him off. His smile disappeared and punched my face.
Amroma gasped and stood in our way while trying to calm down the situation. I was just a second away from showing them who I really was. My eyes met Lupia and he winced. He was the only one who knew who I really was apart from that demon, all thanks to the previous encounter.
It was during the Lunar festival in the Kingdom of Seven moons when I transitioned into my beast. He was the beholder of my face. It was good he kept his mouth shut as I asked him to.
"Now, no need to be handsy with a low life"
She scrunched her face at me. I smiled and spit out the blood that bled from the corner of my lip. Consider it disgusting, the entire world they littered with their presence had more stench than anything worthy of being in the dumpster.
"We have a proposition for you"
Morga spoke. I frowned, feeling the dread hanging in the air. He looked dead in my eyes and gestured towards his right-hand woman, Erza. She was an anomaly herself, sworn her life to the Eight Snake from a young age. I remembered her crying mother on the background and her smiling face in front of me. To this day she wore the same smile.
She brought forth a golden plate with an envelope lying on top. One saw it as an opportunity, I saw it as a degree of death.
