Chapter 3 - Investigation and Revelation

A hero...

The last time I saw her, she looked so weak. So feeble. So... Frail.

Like a lonely moth, struggling to rise into the air, seemingly one strong breath of air from death.

But now? The difference was so glaring I almost couldn't believe my own eyes.

That large shield emitting a noble aura.

That armor which while a bit skimpy, seemed to promise absolute defense.

And... That gaze.

That gaze that promised everything would be alright.

That no matter what, she would make sure we'd be safe.

In that short span of separation, it was like she became something else.

Something more than human.

She became something I myself used to dream of becoming.

She became a Hero.

-Ritsuka Fujimaru when asked on his thoughts upon first seeing Mash Kyrielight in her Demi Servant attire.

-Singularity F - Act 2 -

___________________

As Ritsuka sat stupefied on his back, he almost couldn't believe his eyes.

The girl he thought was dead, had come in and shattered the monster trying to kill him.

In a single blow, she had reversed the tides of a previously one sided battle.

"Mash...?"

Ritsuka's hand twitched at his side as it began to raise seemingly of its own accord, reaching for the girl in front of him.

"Mash...? Why are you? No, not even that... That form...? Why are you...?"

His shock and relief caused him to stumble over his words, and it made him a bit peeved that he couldn't speak his thoughts properly.

Fortunately Mash seemed to understand the thoughts and feelings his words couldn't properly convey, as a small smile appeared on her face.

"Yes, Senpai. It appears I've become a servant."

The word made Ritsuka's expression crease at its familiarity.

"A...Servant huh?"

The sentence had barely left his mouth before his body spasmed from pain, and he toppled over.

Mash quickly caught him in arms before propping him against nearby the wall.

"Mm. I've become a servant. But before I explain, lets get your wounds patched up."

Mash began digging in her shield's compartment, before pulling out a long strip of paper, rolled up like toilet paper.

Unfurling it in the air, she directed the scroll at Ritsuka, who was swiftly amazed when the paper unfurled and began glowing as it circled his body.

"! My wounds? They're gone?!"

Mash let out a small laugh at his look of wonder.

"It's a recovery scroll. Luckily, it's extra strength, so your wounds should be healed now thankfully."

As Mash began packing away her scroll, Ritsuka couldn't help staring at his body while clenching his fists repeatedly.

'So this is magecraft huh? Incredible...' Ritsuka mused as he watched Mash began making her way over to him.

"Excuse me Senpai."

"Eh?"

Ritsuka let out a small noise of confusion as Mash swept him off his feet in a princess carry.

"Er Mash...?"

Ok. Even as addled as his brain was from getting sent into a building back first, he was fairly certain most people don't get this close this fast.

"Bear with it for a bit. I truly am sorry, but we need to leave this area and doing it this way will be fastest. Besides, we're going to meet with up one more person."

"Another person?"

You mean there was someone else here in this fiery hellhole?

"Yup." Mash nodded, "It's actually someone you know. They are just a wee bit far so we're going to have to jump is all."

Oh that's co-

...

Did she say jump?

That was all the warning he had before Mash tensed her legs and then Ritsuka felt his stomach leap out of his body and plop onto the ground.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"

Letting out a shriek, Ritsuka clamped tightly onto Mash as they rocketed straight up into the air.

Watching the ground disappear rapidly from view, one thought came to mind.

"Aren't we way too high up????"

Mash ignored his troubled cries as she panned her sight over the ground.

"Ah! I see them!"

She let out a noise of excitement upon finding the people she was looking for, before readjusting her grip on Ritsuka.

"Discovered the Target, approximately 1 Kilometer ahead."

As she spoke, the Shield Ritsuka had thought was on the ground, swiftly reappeared behind Mash's feet. Before she slowly crouched against the shield, muscles tightly coiling as she braced her legs.

"Shield fixed in space. Deploying Shield Catapult."

Deploying the what now?

"Is it too late to get off this ride? I don't think I pass the height requirements."

"I'm afraid it is. Here we go Master!"

Once again, Ritsuka started screaming as Mash pushed off her shield and accelerated down towards the ground.

"AAAAAAA-MMPGH?"

Ritsuka's scream was abruptly cut off as Mash held a gloved hand over his mouth.

"Please keep your mouth closed Master, otherwise you'll die."

Well that definitely shut him up.

Satisfied, Mash redirected her attention towards the approaching rubble, before turning her head to a small building.

Her eyes lit up with relief upon seeing it.

"For now we'll land on that building. Please prepare for impact Master!"

"What do you mean Impact?!"

BOOOOOMMMMM!!!

With a crash, the Master and Servant pair landed, causing a massive outpour of debris and rubble to rain down.

When the dust cleared, Ritsuka was busy hacking his lungs out while Fou watched and seemingly imitated his behavior as it too started making weird cough noises.

Rather cute sounding actually.

Meanwhile Mash was standing near the edge of the rooftop as she stared down.

"Landing successful. Master! Can you come see this?"

Coughing one last time, Ritsuka nonetheless stood up and walked over to the rooftop.

And once he arrived there, he quickly took a look over.

And then he nearly choked at what he saw.

"Is that the Director? And... That guy from before!"

Yeah. That's right.

On the ground level below, there stood the Director.

Olga Marie Animusphere, in her all short tempered directorish glory.

At the moment she was currently firing rapid curse after curse with one hand, while the other hand was clenching what looked to be a small rock.

Meanwhile on the opposite side of her stood that guy from before, Dante Archaman.

Much like Olga he was also in the middle of using magecraft, though he was moreso hurling rocks and fireballs than curses in one hand. While in his other he held a crystalline tool, which he currently had stabbed in the ground.

Both individuals were surrounded by a mob of skeletal beings, yet that wasn't even the most surprising part.

The surprising part was-

"They're actually holding their own..."

And indeed they were.

Despite the vast numbers difference, Olga and Dante were doing surprisingly well.

Eventually the two managed to chip down the horde until one final blast from Olga destroyed the last skeleton.

By this point, Mash had grabbed Ritsuka and hopped off the rooftop with him.

Landing quickly, the four met up and then began sharing the events that had happened while they were divided.

_________

15 Minutes Ago, Olga Marie Animusphere

Fire.

There was Fire.

Everywhere.

Lashing.

Licking.

Consuming.

Devouring everything.

Her legacy, generations of hard work, all consumed in the blaze.

...

Pain.

The fire was in her veins now.

Searing its way into her flesh as it swallowed her up in an explosion of sound and color.

Her mind was slipping.

Her consciousness was wavering.

She was sinking.

The black was spreading....

"-arie!"

Was there a voice just now?

"-Arie! Director Marie!"

The voice was clearer.

It made her previously blurry mind began to focus a bit more.

The dark was receding, but she needed a bit more of a push to wake up.

"Tch. Olga Marie! Wake up or I'll Kill You Where you Lay!"

_

"Cough Cough!"

Olga woke up coughing, her gaze near frantic as she began looking around for any immediate threats.

Her mind was still foggy but all she could feel for a brief instance was terror, as what greeted her wasn't the walls of Chaldea, but a burning city of rubble and debris.

Scrambling to her feet, Olga reached for her wrist communicator, only for the panic to truly set in upon not finding anything.

Her breaths began coming out in rapid, short gasps as her mind raced.

Where was she?

What was going on?

And was anyone even worried about her?

"L-lev! R-romani! Anyone? Is anyone nearby?!"

Panic made her irrational, and irrationality made her shout for help in a place she couldn't begin to confirm held no hostiles.

And hostiles there were, as a Rogue servant heard her call and immediately directed it's attention towards her.

"AnOtHer SeRVanT? NooOooo... You're... A humAn...?"

"Eek!"

Olga let out a shriek as a black, shadowy figure appeared near her.

Black muscles coiled tightly around a lean frame, and a skull mask hanging loosely from a very much broken jaw.

The figure was the stuff of nightmares, and seeing such a being stare her down made Olga's already strained mind nearly fracture.

Letting out a panicked choke sob, Olga fled.

Without even looking back at the monstrosity behind her, she turned around and began running.

Her mind was racing, trying to figure out a solution to escape this predicament.

But nothing came up.

And as she ran, she heard that monster getting closer and closer, its footsteps slamming the ground with a ferocious thathump! sound.

Help me!

Somebody!

Anybody!

Please!

"Save me, Lev!"

The cry tore free of her throat with barely any conscious input.

And for a brief moment in her panic stricken state, she briefly held hope that he would help.

But cold rationality swallowed that hope immediately, as the Servant behind her Moved.

It can only be called luck that the blow meant originally to take her head, instead merely clipped her back, causing her body to stagger as she fell.

Now on her knees, any hope she had was long gone.

Ah.

I'm going to die aren't I?

The morbid thought felt almost comforting in its certainty.

After all, she never even did much.

Why should someone save her?

The person merely filling her father's role, but not showing an ounce of her own merit.

Perhaps...

It's better this way...?

_

LIGHT.

Searing, radiant light.

It expanded outward rapidly, consuming Olga's vision.

The radiance was so bright, she was forced to close her eyes and turn her head, but even then the light still peaked through.

She heard a scream, felt a flare of heat, then?

Nothing.

Everything went quiet.

Hesitantly opening an eye, Olga was surprised to see nothing in front of her, no one in front of her. Just a pile of ashes and a small ring in the ground where that servant originally was.

Standing up, she hesitantly went over and kneeled before the pile, gently reaching out to poke it with a finger.

"Oh? Director you're here as well? I guess that makes sense somehow...?"

Only for her to shriek at a voice behind her.

Whirling around with a Gandr curse at her fingertip, she spun and aimed her hand at the source of the voice.

"Woah woah woah! Easy, easy! It's me, Dante!"

Said owner raised his hands in surrender immediately.

Yet seeing such a familiar figure in front of her did nothing to assuage her worry.

"Stay right where you are! Don't move a single muscle and keep your hands raised where I can see them!"

For all Olga knew, this could be a trap.

Blinking a bit, Dante nonetheless complied.

Not moving an inch as Olga stood across from him.

"How do I know I can trust you? That servant disappeared and then you appeared. So tell me, are you still Dante Archaman? Or some strange thing conjured up by my mind?"

"You were sweet enough to think of me in your dying moments? Aw I knew our bond was something transcendent- WOAH WOAH WOAH! I'm kidding ! I'm kidding!"

Seeing the Gandr somehow grow bigger, Dante dropped his teasing tone immediately.

Clearing his throat, he nonetheless began preparing an answer.

"Ok. I know it's suspicious but I promise it's actually me. I woke up here in this burning singularity, and I've been running around ever since. I was busy hunting down a few of the monsters popping up around here, mostly dragon tooth skeletons because they make decent components for Alchemy..., and then I saw a bright light in this direction. I followed it over here, and that's how I found you. I promise!"

"..."

Having said his piece, Dante hoped Olga would believe him.

And seeing her lower her hand, he was hopeful.

Until she raised it again, and the Gandr began shining once more.

Welp. Ya had a good run me. GGs.

Closing his eyes, Dante waited to meet the maker-

BOOM!

Only to blink in confusion when he heard the clattering of bones dropping behind him.

Turning, Dante saw one of the aforementioned Dragon Tooth warriors falling into pieces behind him.

Olga lowered her hand and let out a humph.

"It seems you were telling the truth, so it seems I'll have no choice but to rely upon you for the moment. I expect you to carry your own weight, do you hear?"

Dante blinked at the instant swap from terrified little girl to haughty Mistress, before mentally shrugging.

"As you wish Director."

_

Back to the Present

Upon hearing the story, Ritsuka wore a look of disbelief.

Director Olga was capable of feeling fear?

He was half certain that she was the spawn of Satan with how much she seemed to love raising hell.

"So even the Director has such a cute side..."

Even Mash seemed surprised, seemingly taking note of such a fact like it was a rare treasure.

Olga's face flushed a bit as she shot Dante a look promising murder.

Meanwhile the culprit behind such a revelation turned his head to the side as he whistled.

Shaking her head, Olga nonetheless turned her attention back to the more important matter.

"So... It turns out you were also ray shifted here to Fuyuki 2004..."

Digesting that information, Olga nodded to herself.

"I understand the situation a bit more. Listen closely, amateur. Right now, We have no Way to return to Chaldea."

"...As expected huh."

Hearing those words, Ritsuka's expression turned a bit bitter.

Don't get him wrong, he was grateful for being alive, and even more so for Mash saving his life.

But that didn't change the fact that he didn't want to be here.

The news that they were stuck was expected though.

"The more pressing issue now is what we should do from now on... Of all people that we need to rely on, Romani is the one at the head of the command room... Just where did Lev go..."

"..."

"..."

Hearing that, everyone fell silent.

It went without saying, but Olga's words made them all remember the travesty that had just occurred.

Regardless, Olga let out a sigh before barging on ahead.

"Thankfully it isn't all bad. We fortunately have Dante here so we won't be worried about food for a bit-"

"Guess I'm the glorified Fridge now..."

"-And we also have Mash as well." Olga continued while ignoring Dante.

Mash upon hearing that, pointed at herself awkwardly.

"You mean me?"

"Well I certainly don't see any other Mash's around. I don't understand it but, You've become a Servant now right? Therefore we can-"

"Excuse me."

Ritsuka chose that moment to interrupt, raising a hand as if in class.

Olga mercifully didn't shout at him, just turned her head his way while raising an eyebrow.

Ritsuka's eyes turned dotted as he spoke.

"So um, a Servant... What's that exactly?"

...

"HAAAAAHHHHHH????"

_____

5 minutes later

Mash was busy consoling (read:Restraining) an exasperated Olga who was muttering about incompetency.

Meanwhile Dante had pulled a whiteboard from god knows where, and was standing in front of it as Ritsuka sat like a student receiving a lecture from a Teacher.

Drawing on it as he began explaining.

"Alright now. I need you to do something for me kay? I need you, for just a second, to imagine that the world has a hidden side. Such a side, would be essentially unknown to the general populace. That's the world of Magecraft. And those who use Magecraft are known as Magi.

In that world, Magical Energy is predominant everywhere. Magi are people who use that energy to recreate miracles of science. Whether that be through the use of their own circuits, or through external foci. For example,"

Dante reached to the side, and seemingly reached his hand into a gap in the air, before grasping something and pulling a jagged gem blade out of the hole.

"This is my own tool for helping with Magecraft. Also known as a Mystic Code. Most Mystic codes are just a means of supporting spellcasting, but some are also more esoteric in their use. There's actually one in the clock tower that is used for storing a Holy Relic. But that's beside the point.

Point is, Magecraft is useful. And while you may think that it's magic, it isn't. Most magecraft is essentially using magical energy to do something technically possible via science. But often, it's a means used to replicate minor miracles.

Now there exists many sub types of magecraft, and I refuse to explain all of them. But for starters, the one I just used is known as Flash Air, or Displacement Magecraft. In layman's terms it's the act of substituting one thing with something else. For example, turning metal into gold. Or turning water into wine. There's several applications of magecraft.

And another one, one more pertinent to now?

The Magecraft known as Heroic Spirit summoning. A spell glazed, er, praised for being the highest tier of Magecraft.

The action of summoning Heroic Spirits, that is to say, people spoken of in legends and those who left their names in history. The act of summoning them and using them as familiars, that's Heroic Spirit summoning."

Dante paused to let Ritsuka digest that a bit, an act Ritsuka was thankful for.

And then his eyes widened as he realized what Dante was insinuating.

"Wait... So people like Oda Nobunaga, or Toyotomi Hideyoshi, or even Florence Nightingale, they'd be Heroic Spirits? Is that even possible?"

"Well for starters, you got some impressive knowledge their kiddo. And honestly? Yeah. As crazy as it sounds it is possible. Just... Not entirely manageable in most cases. The strain to sustain such familiars is kinda huge, and to make it more manageable, even if barely, we tend to focus on summoning them in classes.

Stuff like Saber, Archer, Lancer, Caster, Assassin, Rider, and Berserker. Those are the main classes we usually use to focus on. Although each class usually-"

"Ehem. Captain. I think that's enough."

Mash quickly cut Dante off, as by that point it seemed he was about go on a Tangent.

Dante at least had the decency to awkwardly chuckle.

In his defense, he didn't do things in a half manner.

Explanation's are always all in.

All or nothing yo.

"Sorry bud. I bet it's a bit much to hear word vomit all at once huh?"

"Yeaaaahhhhh, its a bit much." Ritsuka said while staring blankly, "But even so, the stuff you described isn't really helpful for the situation with Mash. Why did she become a servant? No offense, but I don't think she's a Heroic Spirit."

...

Yeah that was the kicker huh?

Why would Mash, a person who has yet to leave any mark on history, display Servant level capabilities, despite not being a proper Heroic Spirit?

...

"Demi Servant. She's a Demi Servant."

All heads turned to the person who had spoken, one certain Olga Marie, who flushed upon receiving all the attention, but kept pushing regardless.

"I don't know how but, she's someone who received the power of a Heroic Spirit while still being alive."

Beep Beep Beep!

A loud beeping interrupted everyone's thoughts.

"Fujimaru? Fujimaru! It's Romani! Please respond!"

After hearing the absent voice of the Doctor after so long, you'd think Ritsuka would be cheerful right?

"..."

"..Fou. Foukyou."

___

"Aah thank goodness! The signal finally stabilized! Please explain the situation for me, if you don't mind."

For the first time, Ritsuka was finally able to see the Doctor's face, as Romani was now being projected in a holographic display from Ritsuka's communicator.

"So then, How did you manage to escape that situation before? Wait... Did your dormant powers finally awaken? I mean you do seem like a Protagonist of sorts so it'd totally make sense that you would-"

"Ehem."

"What? It's not like I'm wrong-"

Romani's voice slowly faded away as he finally noticed the not so amused gaze of Director Olga Marie, her hand still held in the position of someone clearing their throat.

"Oh... Hey Director. Mash. Wait, Mash?! What's with your attire?! Why is it so shameless and skimpy?! Also, Director? You're alive?! Talk about sturdy!"

"..."

Hearing the word vomit, Ritsuka's dotted expression turned toward Dante, who looked away while whistling.

"Well I can definitely believe you two are brothers now."

"Fou."

Fou let out a noise of agreement as it nodded to Ritsuka's sentence, the noise seeming to signify 'You have no idea'.

"Wait. Brother? Dante's there too?"

"Yo."

"Huh. The whole crew's together then huh. Well then, I guess I should start giving out orders then. Listen closely everyone, right now your mission is simple. Investigate the cause of this Singularity, and then try to resolve it! Understood?"

____

The walk forward was a boring affair.

Up front we had Olga and Fou.

Olga being the navigator, because Astromancy is busted. And because she had Ritsuka's communicator was and speaking with Romani.

Fou being the copilot on her head because he was adorable.

Duh, he's frickin cute, he needs no explanation.

In the middle we had Dante.

I...

I actually don't know why he's in the middle honestly.

Probably because Olga is up front.

Yeeeaahhh probably that.

And in the back we had Mash and Ritsuka, who were chatting a bit more.

"Sooo... Investigating the town was it?"

"That's right senpai. The Doctor already explained it but, there are no records of a catastrophe occurring in Fuyuki 2004. That means that something has been distorted, a bump in proper human history if you will. If we can determine the source of that 'bump', then we may be able to find a means home."

...

"You're really reliable, you know that Mash?"

"Hm?"

Ritsuka shook his head as Mash turned to him with a look of confusion.

No matter how much time had gone by, Ritsuka still wasn't quite used to the stark contrast of the two versions of this girl he knew.

The one from before gave off a vibe similar to a quiet librarian.

While the current one gave off the vibe of a steadfast wall.

It was...

Oddly reassuring.

And cute.

"What's cute Senpai?"

Crap!

Did he say that aloud?!

Panicking a bit, Ritsuka searched his brains for a change of topic.

"Are you relieved we could meet the Director here?"

"Well that's part of it but..."

Mash fell silent for a bit, before with a small red flush adorning her face, she looked back up at Ritsuka.

"It's because I got to see you again Senpai. Things were really bad before, so if I'm being honest I was really, really scared. But even still, despite not really knowing me, you took my hand. You may not believe me but, you saved me. And so I'm glad I can be here talking with you."

"O-oh..."

And now the one with the red flush on his face was Ritsuka.

_

From his position in the middle, Dante cracked a small but unnoticeable grin.

"Heh."

Those two are like an awkward couple.

Is this what you would call a match made in literal hell?

...Still though...

After a bit, his smile faded.

Singularity F.

Fuyuki City...

If it was any other time, he'd be happy to be here.

But not in these circumstances.

Not to mention his own predicament.

"Take my power, and find the cause behind this singularity. Do not stop until you resolve this mess. Understood child of man?"

Of all the bullshit, why did he have to get power?

Like don't get him wrong, Dante was all for cool servant shenanigans but like...

Couldn't his Servant parent have given him more than an ominous quote and a holy flashbang to the face?!

_

With Olga

"..."

"Director... Please don't be mad at me. I only took command, because there were no other High Ranked survivors. There were less than 20 people alive, 17 of which are just common staff."

"And Lev. What about Lev?"

"...."

Romani fell silent.

The answer was apparent, and as such Olga let out a bitter chuckle.

"So he didn't make it either huh...

___________

It took about half an hour but, Fuyuki Bridge was upon the group.

As Ritsuka looked around, he noticed a stuffed Teddy Bear sitting by the waters edge.

Closer inspection showed the bear was charred.

And next to it? A pair of discarded clothes, belonging to what couldn't have been more than a grade schooler.

"..."

So even here too. People have died...

Such a fact.

It was a bit cruel don't you think?

...

"Holy Grail War?"

"That's right. This town's destruction isn't natural. Or rather, it is most definitely unnatural. So the most likely case is that the cause was a Holy Grail War."

A bit of time had passed, and Olga had decided to start enlightening the only novice amongst them about the other side of the world.

They had gone over various topics, and now they were on Holy Grails and other similar things stemming from that.

"A Holy Grail War is basically a servant free for all. Seven Masters summon Servants through the ritual, and they compete for the grail. In most cases it's a fight to the death?"

"They fight each other? But why would they do that? It'd be simpler to just work together wouldn't it?"

"Sigh If only it was that simple. It's a war for the Holy Grail. You... Do know what that is right?"

Ritsuka paused in response to the question.

Before he made an 'aha!' face.

"It's some kind of cup where juice leaks out-"

"Yup, just stay quiet." Olga said while holding her face and sighing.

"Look. Originally the Holy Grail was a Holy Relic. The one used by the Messiah, Jesus Christ, to serve his disciples at the Last Supper. As well as the cup from which Joseph was said to have collected Jesus's blood.

The Grail used in a Holy Grail War is of course not the original, but two share a common feature. Care to guess what it is?"

"Seeing as we are witnessing the results of a war for one, and we have history as an example for the other... Both are tools of misfortune?"

...

"That's not the answer I was looking for, but you're not entirely wrong." Olga took a small breath before continuing.

"Both have the capability of Wishcraft. Or rather, the ability to Grant any wish the user desires. That? That's exactly why no one could work together for it. Do you understand now? For the power to have any wish of yours granted, cooperation is too risky."

"..."

Ritsuka looked visibly conflicted, but he kept his mouth shut. The thought of all that mess for a wish from a cup, and it probably wouldn't be used to repair or fix the damage caused by the collateral?

It didn't sit well with him.

Olga didn't make any moves to comfort him either.

She could see why such a thing would bother him, but she couldn't do anything to change it.

"Regardless, this situation, This singularity even... It was most likely caused by the power of the grail. If we find the owner of the Grail, and take the grail from them... Singularity F will Vanish, and we'll be free to return to our Time!"

...

"WOOOOOHHHH!!! As expected of our amazing Director, turning information that was too much for us common folk, and making it understandable for even novices like our boy Fujimaru over here."

"Dante don't think I can't understand sass. I will be getting a full briefing on just where you were when the crisis happened. Last I checked, I called for all Members of the A team, and the Captains right?"

"...Ah."

And so, under the gazes of Mash and Ritsuka, Olga radiated smug energy as Dante bowed at her feet under the weight of responsibility.

As Olga turned her gaze their way, Shielder and Master quickly started clapping, causing Olga to somehow inflate with even more pride.

"Yes yes, no need to thank me. This much is expected of me. Such elegance is-"

CLLAAAAANGGG!!!

Any more self glazing she may have done tapered off as something made a noise, and Olga shrieked while latching on to the nearest person.

"EE! What was that!?"

"..."

As Olga clung to his arm tightly, only one thought filled Ritsuka's head.

Soft.... Mom? Dad? Your son has made it in life.

"Ehem."

A quiet coughing made the duo separate as Mash looked a bit peeved.

"It was just some rubble falling. Nothing too serious. Shall we get going?"

"Y-yes..."

...

But as he turned to leave, a thought came to Ritsuka's mind.

"Oh, by the way, We haven't seen that skull faced guy since you blasted him away last time. He was a servant right?"

"Well it did give off a servant reaction, but I can't say its conclusive. Normally servants are more-"

"Oh? It seems there's still some Survivors left?"

...

A voice was all the warning they got, before Mash was forced to raise her shield as a heavy weight crashed into it.

Letting out a small grunt of exertion, Mash shoved the weight away.

Landing lightly in a pose fitting a lioness, was a woman wearing all black.

And while her body was certainly attractive, no one cared about that.

They were far more concerned about the way her expression seemed almost delighted that people were alive, yet she herself looked ready to remedy that.

_Servant Arrival_

BLACKENED LANCER - MEDUSIANA

Well then...

Things just got more complicated huh...
