Dante was still glaring into Ryan's back while his hand was settled on Eva's shoulder.
If his glares were lasers, they would have probably burned Ryan's arm to a crisp.
"I know you're going to make the right decision about this Eva. You've always made the right decisions so I know you got this," said Ryan, a smile on his lips.
Looking at his face eased all the tension that had flooded Eva's body.
She returned it, her lips curling at the side.
"Thanks, Ryan."
At this point, Dante was close to exploding in anger. His eyes twitched, his hands were curled into a ball, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
"I'll be heading off now. I have to continue searching for that old geezer."
He placed a kiss on Eva's forehead before he turned to leave, intentionally ignoring Dante's glare.
He already knew that Dante saw him as a love rival. He could just explain things by revealing that he was gay, but he loved to see his reaction every single time he was getting close to Eva.
