"So you were planning on keeping it from me much longer?" She questioned, feeling rage bubble beneath her skin.
"I wanted to tell you everything," he said.
Eva scoffed at him.
"Look…I didn't mean to do it. —" He stuttered, unable to find the right answer to her questions.
Dante pulled his hair in frustration, his scalp burning but he didn't pay any mind to it.
The look that Eva was giving him was painful, it hurt his chest as if he'd been stabbed by a dagger.
"Eva…" He called softly, attempting to take a step towards her but she backed away quickly.
"Don't you dare come close to me," she warned, her eyes burning with rage. "What about the weapons shipment and all the people you've killed? Did you also intend to tell me about that?"
