He saw her. Her hair. Her eyes. Her smile. He recognized them all.
The billboard read; The Comeback Of Eva Montclair!!
Dante thought he was seeing things that he didn't think would be Eva he saw on the billboard.
Some cars dropped off and took pictures of Eva from the billboard.
"That's Eva, right?" Someone whispered to another person.
"She's been missing for some time now. I wonder how she's doing."
They saw Dante still staring at the billboard. They recognized him to be her husband, but they weren't sure if they wanted to speak to him.
"Come on, let's go," they said to each other and left immediately.
Dante continued to stare at the billboard, completely oblivious to the stares of the other passersby who saw him looking into it like he wanted the person displayed on the screen to come out of it.
Without realizing it, a single tear fell on his cheeks. He sniffled the rest of his tears back in as he got into his car immediately.
