Ryan was at a supermarket in Timbelwood. He'd returned to the city after taking care for some matters in Lexora.
Lexora was only on a four-hour flight to Timbelwood, so he could come and go as he wanted.
He checked the products, sampling them with very keen eyes. He read the ingredients, even going as far as googling them to make sure that they wouldn't stir any sort of reaction from Eva if she ate the snacks.
She'd lost so much weight from being in a coma for so long, and since she woke up, she barely ate. She still ate breakfast and dinner normally, but the portion has been dwindling with every day that passes by.
"This contains milk. She can't have it," he said to himself. With his cart full of food, he didn't stop himself from going to the ice cream section.
Eva may be lactose intolerant but ice cream was probably the only edible thing made with milk she could eat and proudly wait for the consequences later.
