He patted her head one more time, gaining her attention. "Will you eat if I eat with you?" He asked.
Rhea's brown eyes dilated once again as she nodded.
Dante gestured to the nurse to ask the cook to make food for her. However, when the food is prepared, they would still bring it to her room because she wasn't allowed outside except on days she needed to take her medications.
"Tell the servants to prepare a table by the garden. We'll be eating it there," he instructed the nurse.
She hesitated, parting her lips to speak.
"But…she's not allowed to step out of this room."
"We're having our lunch by the garden," Dante replied, firm and deadpan this time.
"Of course." The nurse gave a quick nod before leaving the room to relay the message.
"Dante, father is going to be angry once he finds out that I left this room. He's going to…he's going to call them to tie me up again and beat me up," she said, her voice trembling with fear.
