The father and son glared at each other for the longest time possible, before Mr. De Rossi parted his lips to speak.
"What if that little wife of yours is behind all of these?"
Dante's eyes narrowed at his father, unable to believe his thoughts.
"That woman has been snooping around and who knows what she's been getting her hands into," he continued. "For all we know, she's been eavesdropping on your conversations, getting information so that things can work in her favor."
This was the second time his father believed he and Eva were the same kind of people. But they weren't.
However, Dante didn't bother saying anything regarding that.
He trusted Eva. He'd never suspected her of being the one who was always robbing him of his weapons, but if hypothetically she was the one, he would be impressed, rather than angry.
At least, she would be doing something he couldn't do.
However, there was still a big chance she might not be the one.
