Katherine roared with laughter and she was yet to notice how red Alisha's face was with anger.
"That foolish woman. I took everything from her, including her life, and she never saw it coming," Katherine said, continuing to laugh.
Alisha's suspicions were right.
Katherine had been the one behind all her miscarriages. After all, she'd treated her like a sister, taken her everywhere, and always involved her in everything. And worse, even when she noticed that she was being too close with Nathan sometimes, she ignored it and tried so hard not to be paranoid, only for Katherine to be the devil behind all her misfortune.
Something cracked in laughter.
By now, she would have been holding at least two children, or one. She didn't care if she was a single mother, as long as her children were alive but no…Katherine was too heartless to want her to experience motherhood and happiness.
She watched as Katherine dug her hand into her bag and brought a dagger.
