When Lola and Atlas returned home, they were immediately greeted by the twins. Chacha ran straight to her father, while Second went to Lola. Like doting parents, they carried the twins as they sang about preparing dinner.
Lola couldn't have asked for more. This had been her life since moving in with them—or rather, her life had been like this ever since the twins and Atlas had entered it. And she was grateful it had happened.
"Young Madam," said the female helper in the manor as Lola stepped out of the twins' room after putting them to bed. She was waiting outside, holding two envelopes. "These came today."
"Oh." Lola tilted her head and took them. "Thank you."
The helper nodded slightly before walking away. Lola examined the envelopes, both elegantly designed.
"I know Melissa is sending me her engagement invitation, but why are there two?" she wondered, opening the first envelope. "Don't tell me she made a new one."
