"Meg?"
Lola knitted her brows, looking at Aileen in confusion. "I think I just heard that," she hummed, trying to remember where she had heard it. Then it struck her.
"Oh!" Lola's mouth formed an O-shape.
Aileen chuckled. "I sent you a package. I did some research when I planned my show here. This place holds a special place in my heart, and I wanted to find you. Do you know how much I missed you?"
"I know, but I'm really glad that you're fine," Lola said, smiling at her. "Fashion designing, huh? I never thought you'd end up becoming so popular."
Aileen opened her mouth but ended up smiling instead. Fashion design wasn't really in her original plans. Yet as she thought about her future, a beautiful memory crossed her mind.
It was a memory of her and Lola as children. Lola often gave her dresses—not just used ones, but new ones. She would even beg Loren to buy two identical dresses for her and Aileen, though Lola's reasoning was just to confuse everyone.
