A boy woke up in a field of leaves; it wasn't a place he recognized. He recalled spending a week in the hospital following his cancer diagnosis. "I must have passed away." Am I in heaven?" he asked himself.
At least that is what he believed until I heard wood cracking. He pursued the sound until he discovered a man brandishing a sword against a wooden post. The man had on a familiar-looking outfit. "Hello, Kai," he said as he turned toward me.
"Who are you?" Kai said to him.
He remarked, "It is me, Iga Heishin, your father; it has only been a month since I adopted you, and you do not recognize me."
According to what he has been told, his name is Kai Heishin. He was enrolled in the village ninja academy despite having civilian-level skills because he is the son of Iga, the shinobi weapon maker who lived in the village of Konoha, hidden in the leaves. Kai does possess a superior skill in kenjutsu, or swordsmanship. Then he became aware of the situation.
Alone in my room, Kai exclaimed, "Oh my God, I have been transmigrated into the world of Naruto."
When Kai arrived at the ninja academy a few hours later, the class was informed that they would be starting survival training.
They were split up into groups.
The group discovered a riverbed as they ventured into the woods and made camp close to the water.
A few older children chose to enroll in our class.
"Hey, twirp, you really think you can be a ninja through Kenjutsu alone?" said the bigger boy.
Kai seemed personally irritated by that remark, but he calmed me down.
Kai had competed in and placed third in the United States' national martial arts championship in a previous life. He had received instruction in kendo, shorenji kenpo, and karate. He was trained in kenjutsu as well, but I did not want to use it.
They made fun of Kai, but he tried to ignore them. Before long, it was time for dinner. As they caught their dinner, Kai was wading in the water when the three boys made the decision to take Kai's rod and throw it into the river's edge.
Kai decided not to fight them just yet and went to get his rod.
But this would be Kai's opportunity to alter his destiny, as though he had been selected by God.
Kai ended up being dragged into the water when the current decided to change while he was reaching for his rod.
Kai attempted swimming, but the current was too powerful.
He was on the verge of drowning when I heard someone ask him, "Do you want to live?"
Despite being submerged, he was able to say, "Yes, I do."
[Speak your name.]
"KAI HEISHIN," Kai called out.
And suddenly he was brought straight up to the surface.
Kai said, "I will make those bastards pay," and he bounced back fast.
Kai ended up walking upstream, following the river, until he came to a camp settlement.
There, he met a young, tanned-skinned, blonde boy with facial whiskers.
He said to me, "Oh my gosh, what happened to you?"
Before introducing himself to the blonde, Kai said, "The current swept me away," taking off his shirt and setting it on a log by the fire. "By the way, my name is Kai Heishin,"
The blonde introduced himself to Kai as "I am Naruto Uzumaki, dattebayo," but Kai was already aware of his identity.
When Naruto gave Kai some of his fish, Kai promised to reimburse him later.
Kai changed into new clothes and went back to his group, where the three boys were waiting for him and began making fun of him.
"Looks like you came back; maybe your kenjutsu got all washed up as well," he said.
"Shut up," I said in a stern but unyielding tone.
"Punk, what did you say?
Kai said, "That is the question you should be asking yourself," as he took two bokuto out of his bag, picked up one, and threw the other at the boy's foot leader.
"Pick it up," Kai said.
"What?" he asked, a little startled.
"Pick-it-up," Kai repeated, emphasizing each word this time.
Kai simply stood there until the boy was within striking range and sidestepped his blow before he struck the boy in the liver with the hilt of his sword after the boy grabbed the sword and lunged at him. He then screamed and faced me once more. Kai evaded the boy's attack, this time by stepping back and striking him in the clavicle the same way. Then Kai jabbed him where his gallbladder would be, followed by his solar plexus, and then held the sword tip against his throat.
"My chakra may be at civilian level, but my swordsmanship is at a high join level compared to an amateur like you. Remember this lesson: in this world, no matter how big and strong you are, there is always a bigger and stronger person somewhere else," Kai said before striking him in the groin with the flat side of the single-edged practice sword. "Remember this lesson for the rest of your miserable life; now shut the hell up and get out of my sight." Shouting the last part, the three boys retreated, and I lay down on the grass, gazing at the stars.
'Show status,' Kai thought.

I'll put 6 points into my chakra reserve, 6 into chakra control, and the remaining 5 into vitality.
Suddenly, I got a notification.
[You have completed a secret mission and assigned all beginning points.]

I looked at the available taijutsu scrolls; there were 4.
One was called the void fist and seemed to be a standard shoto build; the second was called the flowing fist and seemed to be based on Chen-style Tai-chi; the third was called the reversing fist and seemed to be based on hapkido.
Kai decided to take the shoto style, a style called Kage Ryu karate.
While it featured the standard Dragon punches and Hurricane kicks in this style called Rising Demonic Strike/Sho Majin Geki and Flying Swallow Gale Kick/Hien-shippu Geri.
The projectile was mainly a blast of chakra from the palm; the style, however, also featured two barrage punches and kicks called Shadow Flash Fist and Shadow Meteor Heel. However, the kick seemed to be similar to the bike pedal kick from Mortal Kombat, and the punch barrage was, well, the same as the Hundred Cracked Fist but had an appearance like Yamazaki's Snake Arms.
To my surprise, however, the other two scrolls were available to me in my shop function since I had read Solo Leveling before I knew the fundamentals of the system; however, since this system seemed to have been applied to the Naruto verse, it had some distinct differences.
After this, Kai decided to check the daily missions. My first set of daily missions was doing a hundred chakra control exercises, so he began to do just that.
Later at the Heishin estate
"Young Kai seems to have changed since I took him in," said Iga while he watched Kai doing his chakra exercise for the hundredth time.
As Kai completed his hundredth Chakra Exercise.
[Daily mission complete: reward 100 experience and 5 bonus points.]

"So I'm basically as strong as an average Jonin even at level 2," said
Kai opened his stats there. He allocated the points, putting 2 into strength, 2 into chakra control, and 1 into agility, and sure enough, he felt himself getting stronger and faster.
Kai then ate supper and went to bed that night. Kai dreamed of being a great ninja who even the Otsutsuki clan couldn't compare to.
Kai woke up the next day and got dressed; his system chimed in.
[Current mission: Attend the Konoha academy.]
[Daily mission: do a hundred chakra exercises.]
[Special mission: Find a Taijutsu master to train you.]
Special missions must be completed before a certain time; this one's limit is graduation. Failure will result in loss of system functions for a week.
I decided to ask around the academy if there was a Taijutsu master who could train me later.
I arrived at the academy, where I sat in class. While I was in the same year as Naruto and the others, I was not in the same class as them. Also, in my class, there were 2 girls who, ironically enough, sat next to me. Their names are Himiko Hyuga and Yoshiko Senju.
Apparently, Himiko was the daughter of Hiashi's sister-in-law, making her a main family member. She was also criticized for her unique form of Gentle Fist, which is modeled after the concepts of water and appeared to be based on Chen-style Tai-chi. Focusing more on the use of circular supple force and outlasting defense rather than rugged form and aggressive offense, the other girl, Yoshiko Senju, was the daughter of Tsunade Senju and a man named Tenchi, who was an expert in both taijutsu and kenjutsu to the point of mastery. Yoshiko was her mother's daughter, inheriting her mother's looks and her insane strength and natural talent for medical ninjutsu.
"Hey Kai, what have you got there?" asked Yoshiko.

"It's a scroll on a Taijutsu style called Kage-ken. I was hoping to ask Takeshi sensei about a taijutsu master who can help train me to use it," Kai replied.
"Well...how about I ask my dad if he'll help you learn it?" she said.
"Really, thanks; that'd be great, Yoshiko-Chan," said Kai.
Yoshiko gasped.
"What?" asked Kai.
"You didn't use the Hime honorific," she said.
"Does it matter?" Kai asked.
"No, but...it's just unusual," said Yoshiko blushing.
"Kai-Kun, once you learn this Taijutsu, May I spar with you," said Himiko in a stoic tone similar to a Kuudere.
"Sure, once I'm confident enough to take you on," said Kai.
"I'll hold you to that," she said, and then they all laughed.
During recess, Kai began doing his daily one hundred chair exercises, eventually getting better at it than before.
Kai went to the senju household sometime after school let out, and a man with tanned skin, long, coarse black hair tied in a braid, brown eyes, and a piece of wood that looked like a lightsaber hilt at his hip answered the door.
Then Kai realized who this man was: he was one of the most powerful characters in anime from the 90s, Tenchi Misaki.
"Ah, you must be the boy asking about Taijutsu masters," said Tenchi.
"Ah yeah, I was hoping you could help me learn from this scroll," said Kai.
"Of course I can; this scroll is a style that my grandpa developed," Tenchi said before leading Kai into the dojo.
[Secret mission complete: Reward secret technique scroll] the system announced.
'a secret technique scroll I checked the scroll, what? But this is..'. Then I smiled. If I use this technique, I can wipe the floor with any opponent, no matter how strong they are,' I thought to myself.
He would start receiving instruction in the style's foundational methods.
Kai trained under Tenchi for four days, practicing kata and learning some pretty cool moves like the knuckle swipe and the phantom roundhouse kick. He was just beginning to learn the shadow-flash-fist, which required him to catch a leaf without breaking it. This was challenging, and before he could continue his training, Kai had to learn how to do it without chakra. Fortunately, after three days or so, he was able to catch the leaf without breaking it.
"I did it," said Kai to Tenchi, who was reading The Art of War by Sun-Tzu.
"Good, now we'll do it with two, using both hands,"said Tenchi.
This went on for weeks, and Tenchi wound up adding resistance bands to Kai's training.
The other training for the Kage-no-senpu-hiru/the shadow whirlwind heel technique involved me kicking a clay jar with enough force to shatter it in one kick. From there I had to shatter two with a low punt kick and then a sweeper kick, then I had to kick a third with a spinning roundhouse kick before the fourth and fifth with a spinning double crescent kick before finishing the last one with an Axel side flip kick, all using the heel of my foot. This took time since I was wearing weights on my legs.
I also began practicing the first shoto-style move, the diving spear kick. While shoto fighters are often associated with special moves, the style also frequently uses other moves. The flying spear kick is the actual name of this move, but it is commonly called the Dragon kick due to a miscommunication that occurred in the early 1990s.
I stood before the training dummy practicing blocking drills on the dummy's arms while landing strikes in the middle of each block. This was the married hands method of Kage-Ken called the Meotode, the act of using both hands together in union with each other. Tenchi had explained to me that this method was important to the style. I was already familiar with it, but not to the level Tenchi taught, since he could use two different elemental releases with each of the individual hands. Tenchi appeared to be one skilled master at this technique.
As I trained in the style, I was able to learn there was a secret advanced form based on the five legendary beasts of Taoism.
Seiryuu, which taught instant movement, swift counters, and a technique similar to the gentle Fist's tenkettsu points striking a style based to Tai-chi.
the Byakkoh, a style revolving around iron fingers and making the hands like blades following the concepts of Quigong a style based on Koh-En-ken/ Tiger swallow fist
Genbu: a style about drawing one's body inward using as little opening and movement as possible for enhanced defense and evasion a style based on Hung-gar
Suzaku: a style involving airborne movements, enhanced acrobatics, and spinning aerial kicks, a style that is based on Shaolin Kung Fu.
Kohryuu: a style that involves advanced footwork, defensive counters, and intercepting the enemy's movements a style that is similar to Kenpo.
Each style teaches a certain elemental release: Seiryuu/wind, Suzaku/fire, Byakkoh/earth, Genbu/water, and Kohryuu/lightning.
Although it was recommended to learn a little bit of each style, most people specialized in one.
Tenchi also gave me a training outfit to wear and use as ninja gear it consisted of a white shirt, white pants a golden sash, a pair of golden wrist bands, a pair of Tai-chi shoes, on the chest of the shirt was a golden sun brand the clan symbol of the Heishin Clan.
" These are sweet," I said
After this I went home and got some rest after the long week of training.
The next day I was resting when I heard that the Kumo ambassador had come to talk peace with the Hyuga clan.
"Well, it's about time for that event, isn't it?" I asked myself.
I grabbed some old rags and my sword that my father gave me in case of emergencies and snuck out my window.
As I arrived, I heard the commotion of the sound of the Kumo ninja attacking people, and I noticed two ninja escaping out back. Naturally, I followed them, arriving at the place they were heading to intercept them.
"You guys just violated any chance for peace from Konoha you could possibly hope for," I said, using the system's voice modification ability. The system had the ability to negate aging and allowed me to alter my body at will.
"Who the hell are you?" they said.
"I'm your worst nightmare," I said before diving down and moving so fast I seemed to vanish before coming from above and delivering a slash downward.
"Hiten-mitsurugi: Ryutsuisen/Flying Heavens Govern Sword: Dragon Hammer Flash!" The attack cleaved the man clean in half. The other man tried to run, but I quickly caught up with him. "Ohhh no! You aren't leaving the party without a goodie bag," I said and delivered a two-step attack with my sword and sheath.
"Batto-jutsu: Sōryūsen!" I shouted, delivering a devastating blow with my sword sheath that crushed the man's bones before delivering a decapitating cut to his neck. Cleaving straight through the cervical vertebrae.
The men were killed. After this I freed the two girls that turned out to be Hinata and Himiko.
"Who are you, mister?" he asked.
"Hitokiri Battosai, and I was just passing through," I said and then I left.
The next day a council was called apparently the Raikage wanted the head of whoever killed his ninjas however when it was revealed they were killed by a passing mercenary he had no other choice but to comply with the commands of the hokage and surrender three S-rank jutsu and two A-rank jutsu and promise to never try this again.
After that things settled down.
