"WHY are you here?" Gilbert asked Gwyneth coldly, taking back the woman's hand.
Gwyneth was stunned by Gilbert's cold treatment of her for a few seconds, but she forced a smile after that. "I haven't seen you all day and I miss you, that's why I'm here."
Gilbert didn't answer, instead he gently pulled his senses because he felt it hurt. Just now, he thought he was dreaming, but when he touched the woman, he forgot everything and couldn't help but punish her with a kiss.
But when he returned to his senses, he once again remembered her deceit and betrayal of him. It felt like he wanted to strangle her until she was out of breath.
Gilbert stood up for a moment and then looked at Gwyneth who was looking up at him. "Mister Miller will take you home," she said to the woman, which surprised her.
"H-Honey!" Gwyneth called out as Gilbert simply turned away and didn't look back at her. Her fists were clenched as she followed the departing man with a sullen expression.
