After the War of Judgment and Order, the Heavenly General Ling and the remaining Heavenly Soldiers and Valkyries rebuilt the fallen village of Sith and lived in it. As the years went by, a sense of missingness and longing dawned upon Ling, Matthew, and the rest of the Auxcast, as well as the entire Army of Order. But for Ling, the sense was much stronger and kept growing as years turned into decades, and decades stretched into centuries. Then, one or two years before the McKellen siblings set out on their search, Ling left the newly built Sith to find answers to this sense of longing and missingness.
A decade of travel had worn on Ling. After emerging from a high-level dungeon, drained and weary, he accidentally stepped through a dimensional gate and lost consciousness. He awoke to the sight of a beautiful meadow of white, red, and purple lilies. His instincts immediately told him what the place was and what the lilies symbolized. The white lilies stood for life, the red for death, and the purple for the fragile state between. For a member of the Crimson-White family lineage, however, the lilies were more than symbols; they were a living testament to the emotions and trauma of fighting to stay alive.
The air of the meadow was serene, comforting, and profoundly familiar, a sensation that instantly eased the burden in Ling's heart. The deep sense of longing and missingness that had driven him for a decade, the very reason he had left the village of Sith, had almost completely vanished. Though he knew this was not the destination he had sought, a quiet certainty settled over him—the answers he truly needed would never be found on a conventional journey. He understood now that this tranquil plane was a Dominion, a sacred space belonging to Sakureal, the primordial of his family lineage, the Crimson-White Vulkarion. This was a sanctuary created to offer solace, to soothe the deep emotional scars and trauma of death and resurrection that the Crimson-White lineage carried. Ling hadn't simply stumbled through a dimensional gate; he had been guided here, brought to this place of peace to find comfort and ease his troubled heart.
Lying on his back, Ling allowed himself to fall into the plane's soothing energy, which began to mend the long-held ache in his heart. The tranquility of the Dominion was absolute, and as he lay there, the passage of time became a meaningless concept. All the while, the primordial Sakureal watched over him, allowing the magic of the plane to work its profound, healing power. From the surface of Azure, the Heavenly General Ling disappeared on the 17th day of Mallow, the thirteenth and final month of the year 714 of the 12th cycle.
On the 12th day of Apollo, the first month of the year 758 of the 12th cycle, 44 years after Ling's disappearance and 33 years after the McKellen siblings' flight, new lives were welcomed into the Roseblade duchy. But their arrival did more than bring joy; they brought something that resonated across the universe, affecting all beings except the Absolute Immortals and the Universe itself. What they brought were the very answers Ling had sought: memories. These memories were the source of the missingness and longing that had plagued the entire Army of Order—memories that had been erased by the Brave Heroic Will of Judgment and Order.
