Andria's POV
As soon as we arrived at the main hall, heads started to turn towards our direction, and soon they stopped moving their bodies to the music but stared and pointed towards Sir Kaelric and me.
I suddenly tensed beside Sir Kaelric, mentally preparing myself for a fight.
My skin prickled, and suddenly the music stopped. There was a shout of disapproval by other creatures who hadn't noticed what was amiss.
But slowly, they started.
Kaelric noticed it, and he shoves Jackson. "Walk faster."
Jackson didn't move. He stood still, shoulders straightening, chin tilting upward with defiance.
"What's the rush, Sir Kaelric? Leaving so soon?. The main event is just about to start. You think you can just walk into my territory and walk out with me, just like that?"
Kaelric's patience broke like thin glass. He was beside Jackson in less than a second, his hand gripping his collar, claws barely grazing his throat. "Don't test me."
