After arriving at the Black Sapphire me and Maria dropped off our weapons before heading on up to the top floor where I lead the way as we walked up to the second floor where Kurt was located.
His guards moved out of the way letting us both sit in the same booth as him, "Looks are little NUSA rat had a rather unfortunate accident." He says before grabbing a glass in front of him and downing the whiskey shot in one go.
"Yeah it's real sad, people should be more careful around building ledges." I said in return as he nodded before looking at Maria.
"Seems your forming your own crew huh, Netrunner with a Sandivestian? Ahh a battle runner, not a bad choice for a first crew member." He said as his eyes glowed getting a full set of details on Maria before nodding and looking at me.
"Well kid you did the job perfectly, thus you will be getting your pay in full for a job well done." He said as his eyes glowed before 25k went into my and Maria's accounts.
"Oh and here's a bonus." He says pulling out a shard and passing it across the table to me as I looked at it.
"It registers you in Dogtown's system as both a Merc and VIP, letting you and whoever is with you to have access to my territory and a bit of discounts in the blackmarket, on top of all that if you want to take any jobs directly from me with no need for a greedy fixer like Arthur Cormac or anyone else taking in a portion of your creds in return." He said as I looked at the shard before slotting it in as an update of my OS.
A Barghest logo appeared before the installation completed, though not before the system I had found and got rid of the tracker that was apart of the system, but it was so quick Kurt didn't notice.
I then pulled the shard out and put it back on the table as a list of jobs popped up but most seemed to be out of city area type jobs but those jobs were high paying at that, "If your interested in making a lot of creds I have plenty of outside jobs available to do." He says while me and Maria stand up.
"Thanks for the offer Kurt but we're going to stick to Night City for the most part, after all while I have done two hard jobs rather perfectly I still need to build up my street cred further, so for now I'll just be sticking to the city." I say to which he just shrugs as he pulls out a cigarette to light it.
"Do whatever you want kid, just know the offer stands." He says to which I just nod before both me and Maria head out of the Black Sapphire.
As he let out a puff of smoke his eyes began to glow, "Increase security measures for the Black Sapphire, I want to know any and all vulnerabilities in this building and have them taken care of asap." He said before he got confirmation from his men as his eyes returned to normal.
"Kid, I wouldn't be surprised one day I was personally put in the center of your cross hairs." He muttered to himself as he leaned back and relaxed on the couch while he looked out the window to Night City in the distance.

A few days later.
*Thump! Clunk!* "And that takes care of that." I say putting the unconscious target into the back of a black car before it began to drive away.
My eyes began to glow as I got a call, "Wakako, I got the target." I say as I see her nod on the other side of the holo.
"Good, the Tyger Claws will want to deal with that Scav personally, so the Jobs done and you will be getting your pay now." She said as 10k went into my account.
"Oh and before I go Hayden, Rogue has heard of the jobs you have gone out of your way to complete, so if you so desire you can enter the Afterlife now." Wakako said making my eyebrows raise up, well I mean if she could see my face that is.
"Well thanks for telling me that Wakako, just hit me up if you have anymore jobs, actually speaking of which how's the search going?" I say as I remember something before thinking about hanging up.
"Ahh yes…. You were looking for some heavy hitters that are also new to the Merc life like yourself, well I do have this rather…. Peculiar duo of siblings who are looking for a crew to join and seem interested in becoming apart of your crew." Wakako said making me raise an eyebrow.
'Is it who I think it is?' I couldn't help but think to myself, "Well just give them the location of my garage if they want to meet up, but anyway I got to go, got another job lined up with Arthur from the Valentino gang so I got to go." I say to which she just nodded as my car drove up to me as I jumped into the driver seat.
Maria was rapidly typing on the laptop she had on her lap while wires were linked up to her mural port in the back of her neck, "You sure you want to take this job?" She asked me as I closed the door and started up my Quadra.
"What? Are you afraid of this El Sombreron or something? Is it cause your Ex-Valentinos before you 'found god' and killed many of them in a fit of madness and your worried that they will take revenge on you for that?" I said as she had given me a bit of her backstory on herself, though I had a feeling she was former Valentino with her gold cybernetic fingers and her Latino background as only Valentinos and ex-Valentino's have that kind of Cyberwear on them.
"Hehe…. They can try, but no it's not that it's just that pendejo is a two faced snake, quite literally at that with how mangled the left side of his face is." Maria said with a chuckle while we sped on down the road to one of the Valentinos bases.
Soon enough we arrived at an upscale club owned by the Valentinos as we parked and stepped out of the car.
However as we got out and everyone saw Maria exit the vehicle they all instantly began to take aim at us, more specifically at her making me pull out my Vesper 77 in response.
"Are we going to have a problemo hombres?" I said taking aim myself before an member of the Valentinos walked out from the second floor of the club on the open deck as he leaned on the guardrail and look down at us.
He then pointed at Maria, "Esa maldita perra isn't coming any closer to this club, she stays there and you come in, Alone." He said making it clear that Maria isn't welcome.
Both seeing and hearing this Maria held up her hands in mock surrender before getting back into the car making the Valentinos put down their guns in return while I put away mine.
"He's waiting inside." The man on the second floor said before going back inside as I looked at my car before looking back and heading on inside.
When I entered one Valentino motioned me to follow as we wentthrough the club and into a back room where a man with a golden arm, large black fedora and suit was leaning back on the couch but what caught my eye was how badly scarred the left side of his face was as I went and sat across from him.
This is El Sombreron and one of the few remaining old era members of the Valentino members to this day, and it just so happened he had a job for me.
Now I just wondered what this Twoface look alike wanted from me.
