I didn't see a reason for us to ignore the idea of a story from this guy. It's related to the boss we are about to face anyway so it could be helpful in the fight against it.
"Well, start telling us." I say with a bit of an impatient tone.

A long time ago there was a spirit that used to protect the Great tree, a tree said to grant insane power to anyone who can make it to the top.
The spirit that protects this tree was there for hundreds of years without anyone ever making it there. That was the case until finally someone made it to the top without any struggle whatsoever.
A man wearing all black with his face just barely visible. He didn't disrespect the spirit or say much about the tree.
The goal of the man was to see the top of the tree, to see if the legend about it all was true or not. It was only a rumor since no one ever reached the top in all the years that it existed.
