'Is he planning on using that move again on him?' Zoro had a tensed expression on his face, when he saw boy making familiar hand sign, before he decimated whole Buggy Pirates at once. But there was something that didn't fit well in his head, right now he electrocuted the Straw hat boy and there was no effect on him, so why would he still use that technique if it was useless against him.
Rei was completely enveloped in the lightning and his hairs were still black unlike the ones in the anime. He thought he would be shrouded in blue colored electricity and while hairs flying in the sky like a super saiyan but all it did was covered him in a lightning field.

Everyone around him sweat dropped at the mention of admiration from Straw hat kid, instead of getting vary about it. Zoro looked at the black haired kid with wide eyes, thinking just how many techniques he could use with the electric powers of his.
Rei smiled at his opponent and got into a battle stance, "Keep your eyes wide awake, Luffy or else you will miss the movements of me"
"Shishishi…I can see ev-" Just as he was getting ready to retort the warning of lightning imbued kid, he saw him vanishing out of his sight in the next moment. He went wide eyed and looked around to catch a glimpse of him, but all he felt is a sharp pain around his cheek and blood dripped down to the ground.

"I couldn't even see him anymore!"
"Is this for real?!"
Rei kept stopping at the different spots to tease the Straw hat boy with his speed. No matter how many punches he threw at the black haired kid, every single one of them missed. At this point. he was thinking deep down that he was getting toyed by the lightning boy battling him. He clenched his fists tightly to find a loophole in Rei's strength but he was interrupted by a voice from the mob heading towards them.
"Mayor!"
'What a perfect timing' Rei stopped beside Luffy and put arm around his shoulder, making his eyes go wide in surprise. He was about to take hold of this opportunity to knock him down, but the dagger pointed at his neck, stopped him in his tracks.
"It looks like we won't be able to complete our battle today" Rei turned his head to the mob that headed towards them with weapons in their hand. He was disappointed that battle between him and Luffy got interrupted but nonetheless he was alright with these turn of events.
For him, fighting Luffy was just so he could see his devil fruit powers in person. There was not even a shred of doubt in his head, that he couldn't be able to defeat him. The current him was far weaker than Rei and battle was just one sided, which everyone around them had guessed, the moment he enveloped himself in the electricity. Also, him putting one month condition for Nami, was just so he could come back to recruit her, after all he wanted to know what was One piece.

"What are you all doing here?!" Mayor gasped in surprise when he saw the people of town standing there.

Seeing so much love and care from fellow citizens, he was moved to the point of crying tears of joy, but he somehow controlled himself, He went ahead and explained everything to the people of town. As soon they heard that Buggy pirates were defeated, they dropped their weapons to the ground and began to hug each other in happiness and crying tears of joy to be finally free.
'I will get to eat some nice food this evening' Rei was already back to his normal mode and seeing the lively surrounding around him, he knew that tonight's going to be wild. All of them gathered together to join in with the celebration preparation of citizens.

The sun was set down and the night was about to approach, but the sounds of celebration made the dead town livelier once again. People who were driven at the outskirts of town to save their lives were now feeling joy on top of the world. After all the losses that they suffered from the Buggy Pirates, they were celebrating this moment to finally mark their freedom after a long time.
Itadori, Nami and Megumin were enjoying the food at one of the spot in the restaurant. On the other hand, Bang was spending his quality time in the pub, drinking beer with the old people of town, who dragged him forcefully since he was standing all alone in the corner with a beer glass.
"Where is Rei?" Nami asked when she realized that the black haired kid was nowhere to be seen.
"I saw him leave with Mayor earlier" replied Itadori while sipping on the cold drink.
Meanwhile, Megumin was wasting no time in leaving any dish on their table, she was kept ordering one after another dish that she found to be delicious. It was her first day in this world and she already got to eat such delicious food. In her mind, she thought about her other group of people in her world and had a smug smile on her face for hitting this jackpot.
"What does he have to talk with him now? Aren't Buggy Pirates dealt by Rei?"
She turned her head to the pirate duo whom they met this morning. Straw hat boy was eating lots of meat at such a pace, that everyone around their table had a look of bewilderment on their faces. On the other hand, green haired swordsman was eating a less slower and chugging down the bottle of beer in his hand.
'I am going to strangle him later for not ending that battle in an instant' Nami was mad at the black haired boy for showing off his speed to all of them, instead of defeating his opponent and getting rid of him with their bet. She gazed outside the window with a sweat drop, 'But can I really do that?'

Inside a room. It was a quite spacious room with lots of books in the shelves and there was a brobdingnagian desk in the middle of room, which held lots of papers and the books. An old man and a boy were sitting on chairs while facing each other with a serious look in their faces.
"So what do you want to talk with me in person, boy?" Mayor asked the black haired kid, who was gazing around his office with curious look on his face. Seeing the nonchalant boy in front of him made him somehow uncomfortable, ever since he knew that he was the one who dealt with whole Buggy Pirates on his own. He had respect towards him but at the same time, being in the same room with him made him feel afraid of him.
"Don't be afraid, Mr Mayor. I am not a bad guy" It's as if he has read the mind of old man, caused him to sigh and relax on his chair. Boy snapped his finger and a tied up unconscious Buggy showed up out of nowhere in the room, which made his eyes go wide in surprise, "As you can see, this is the leader of Buggy Pirates that I slayed this morning, but he ended up surviving somehow even after those lightning strikes"
"What are you planning to do with him?" Mayor wiped the sweat off his face and drank water to calm himself down upon hearing that the notorious Buggy was still alive. All the stress that was released earlier this morning was back once again.
Rei pointed at the unconscious Buggy, "I want you to claim the bounty on his head to repair the damages that he did to your town and people. I heard from my friend that he has around 15 million belli over his head, so take 5 million from all that money to repair the damages in your town and give me rest of it, later"
"I don't understand. Why are you giving us such a large sum of money?!" Mayor was flabbergasted by such a huge amount of money offered to him by the boy. He was skeptical of what he was going to ask of, in return of doing such a huge favor for people of the town.
"Well obviously I want something in return for that" Rei stood up from the chair and walked towards the corner of the room and looked through the curtains at the people celebrating night outside on the street, "I need a big ship for five of us by tomorrow morning and 500k belli, that's all I want for now. Can you do this much for me?"
"Sure. What you did and are doing for this town, is nothing compared to your request. Consider it done, boy" Mayor nodded at him and then went through his vault to give money to Rei, and after counting it all, he placed all of the money that he asked for, on the table. With a swipe of hand over them, all the cash vanished and got stored in the storage of chat group, making old man's eyes widen in surprise.
