"Let her go?"
He sneered as if he had just heard a joke. "Why should I? On what basis?"
Mike's face twisted as he struggled to stand. Unfortunately, he had overworked himself, and his attributes were now in the 10s. Fighting the zombies had depleted any strength he had, and now, he could only helplessly landed on his butt, earning a snicker from the man.
He took a deep breath and said seriously. "This is not right. We ought to be thinking of a solution—of how to make it out or fight the zombies, not this!"
The man laughed, "Have you forgotten? We've been doing that for half an hour, yet what was the result? Nothing. Ha! We can't come up with anything!"
"That doesn't mean you should be doing this." Mike's eyes burned, a hint of helplessness rising. "Everyone is in the same situation as you. Everyone is just as afraid as you. We didn't think it's okay to hurt others. We're not animals. That's what zombies do! And we're not ones."
