The Cave Awakens
The camera zooms in on Shammroy and Querion, standing under a strangely warm atmosphere.
Shammroy smirks and warns,
"See! The travel with me is full of danger and hurdles, ok?"
Querion looks at him with an awkward, almost betrayed expression,
"Do you even know where you're saying this?"
The camera pulls back, revealing the two standing before the mouth of a massive cave. Shammroy chuckles,
"Yeah… and now it's time for you to test yourself top…."
Querion glares at him with disbelief, but before he can speak further, a heavy growl echoes from deep within the cave—like a some monstrous beast yawn that shakes the air. Querion's eyes widen,
"Where… did you bring me?"
Shammroy answers without hesitation,
"I asked the villagers. This is the beast's cave which has terrorized them for long ago , now there are saying that, it has been sleeping for years. To move forward… I need to defeat it."
Before Querion can protest, Shammroy steps inside. Both querion and shammroy are rushing in , but suddenly a sound heard as the cave rattles as if alive. Shadows shift, and then from the shadows soon dozens of beasts emerge from the darkness, snarling.
The two warriors take off their weapons and fight back to back, blades flashing and the blood spilling around , but the beasts coimt increasing as the army marching towards them . As Querion holds his ground with surprising strength, Shammroy laughs and says,
"Well! You've improved so much."
But the echoes of battle stir something deeper. A monstrous eye opens in furious in the abyss, followed by a thunderous roar that makes even the villagers outside quake in fear.
The Beast of Cataclysm
From the darkness, heavy thunder footsteps approach closer . Shammroy and Querion stand amidst the corpses of fallen beasts , and from the dark at last it emerges—its horns twisted along its body flesh, teeth jagged and endless, and a glowing mark blazing on its forehead.
The Cataclysm Beast.
Querion's Storytelling
Back in the den, Zoick interrupts with wide eyes,
"Wait—Querion sir, what do you mean by Cataclysm Beast?"
Querion sighs and explains,
"In your world…you might call them an S-Rank beast.!"
Zoick gulps,
"S-Rank… understood. Continue."
Clash of Titans
The cave became calm as beast stood infront of shammroy and querion, and then it start breath heavier and strikes the wind- frozen , shaking the ground for miles. In the village, whispers spread like wildfire.
Villager 1 gasps,
"What is happening?"
Villager 2 whispers,
"The beast is rising…!"
Villager 3 shudders,
"This is worse than we feared."
Inside, the battle rages. The beast's frozen wind attack explodes forward—Shammroy and querion dodges that strikes , but the beast won't stop and starts counter attacking them . Shammroy and querion can't make a single blow on the beast , now beast attack with a dust frozen , shammroy somehow narrowly dodges, but Querion stumbles, his leg slipped. He fell onto ground where he takes the direct attack.
At the last instant, Shammroy pushes him aside, taking the brunt of the blow. He collapses, bloodied and unconscious.
Querion freezes in horror, his voice breaking.
"No… leader… you—"
As the beast after that blow exhaust , closes it eyes for a while . In that time querion drags Shammroy to aside in the dark for safety, eyes dark with despair, believing him dead.
The Awakening
Querion eyes darken after seeing the shammroy in that condition, he went out and stand motionless infront of the beast.
The beast's voice rumbles through the cave,
"I grant you mercy, brat. Leave, or you'll end up like your friend."
But something stirs inside Querion. His aura ignites, crackling with raw fury. His weapon reshapes—one half a long knife, the other a spear-like staff, both glowing with power. His eyes burn with rage, his presence chilling the air for miles.
In the village, an elder senses the shift,
"We must move. Something… is happening in the cave."
The villagers rush toward the cave.
Defiance Against the Cataclysm
The beast unleashes its frozen wind again, but this time Querion blocks it with spear and then plants his spear into the ground, stopping the storm. With a burst of power, he propels himself upward, vanishing from sight.
The beast strikes the spear which planted on ground thought that querion is there —until querion appears above the skull of beast and punch on its head which makes the beast crashes down on the ground
The beast staggers rises back, and roars,
"You brat!"
Querion's voice echoes like thunder,
"How dare you hurt my leader!"
At a blink querion disappeared and he kicks the beast with all his might, launching it out of the cave and into the sky. In midair, Querion's take his spear slashes the beast like a divine blade, carving through the beast's body.
The Cataclysm Beast thuds lifeless to the ground.
Tears of Triumph
Querion landed on ground , the blood of beast dripping from the spear .Seeing the beast died his aura slowly fades, leaving him trembling but victorious. Behind him, a cough echoes.
Shammroy, barely conscious, grins,
"Oye… you finally defea—no, not killed it!"
Querion spins around in shock,
"You… didn't die?"
Shammroy scratches his head with a sheepish smile,
"I just fell asleep!"
Querion can only stare at him in disbelief.
A Hero's Name
The villagers pour into the ruined cave. Their eyes widen at the sight—the monster that plagued them for generations lies dead. And standing before it, holding the spear on it blood stains of beast , is none other than Querion—the once-hated outcast.
A wave of cheers erupts. The people chant his name, their voices thundering in joy. Querion's eyes fill with tears—this land that once despised him now lifts him up as a hero.
From behind, Shammroy places a steady hand on his shoulder,
"I settled the matter."
Querion turns, confused,
"The matter you want to settle is mine! You planned this from the start?"
Shammroy nods, smiling warmly,
"I wanted you to be a hero here… for them to cheer your name. And now, they do."
Querion is struck silent, his heart overwhelmed. Slowly, he smiles back at his mentor.
