Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: John Wick

On the other side of the city, John Wick had just been attacked in his own home. Awoken from sleep, he was brutally beaten with a baseball bat by several intruders. The legendary assassin, known as the Night Demon, was left stunned. They killed Lucy, his beloved beagle—the last gift from his late wife—and stole his cherished car.

After the attackers left, John Wick buried his beloved dog in his garden. Reflecting on his past with his wife, Helen, and her final gift, he resolved to fight violence with violence.

Determined to retaliate, John Wick returned to his residence to retrieve the weapons and Continental Hotel gold coins hidden in his basement.

"Bang, bang, bang!"

John swung a sledgehammer, smashing the concrete floor with each memory of the day's events, each strike heavier than the last. Soon, the floor gave way, revealing a hidden box.

Discarding the hammer, John swept away the gravel around the box. Inside, he found four pistols, magazines, grenades, and a collection of gold coins—and among them, a Dragon Ball.

Frowning at the amber crystal ball, John recalled placing a simple stone there, a keepsake from Helen. "Did Helen put this here secretly?" he murmured. Despite his doubts, John reached out to grab the crystal ball.

Meanwhile, at the League of Assassins' headquarters, Smith Doyle was attending a meeting when a message came to his mind. Someone had accessed a Dragon Ball. Curious, he tapped into its location and witnessed John Wick holding the One Star Ball.

Recognizing John Wick, Smith thought, "It's him, the Night Demon of the Continental Hotel. It seems the Russian gang in New York is doomed."

Smith decided to give John a glimmer of hope. John Wick, holding the ball, received information: "Gather seven Dragon Balls, and you can summon a dragon to fulfill your wish."

"If this is true, Helen, can I bring you back?" John murmured, carefully pocketing the star. He had scores to settle before seeking the other Dragon Balls, though he remained skeptical of their power.

Back at the League of Assassins, Cross said, "GOD, we have a debut mission for you to lead the League."

Mr. X added, "It's not a simple task. The goal is to dismantle an evil organization."

The Gunsmith questioned, "Isn't that too challenging for one person?"

The Butcher suggested, "What about targeting the leader and leaving the rest to the League?"

Smith replied confidently, "I'm ready. Have you chosen a target?"

Mr. X assured, "We'll gather intelligence and let you choose soon."

With the choice pending, Smith left the meeting, inviting Fox to join him for a drive. As they sped away in a black Dodge Viper, Fox asked, "Where to, Smith?"

"Let's head to the Continental Hotel," Smith replied with a grin. "I've got some gold coins left from past missions."

Fox asked, "You don't plan to take on the hotel, do you?"

Smith laughed, "No, just a good show."

Meanwhile, the phone rang at John Wick's house. It was Viggo, the Russian gangster, whose son had attacked John. Viggo tried to make peace, but John hung up, knowing the son of his former boss was responsible.

Realizing the situation couldn't be resolved peacefully, Viggo ordered his men to prepare.
