Dahlia looked over slowly from behind
The far stretched smile
Glowing yellowish patterns that they have never seen on the other ghouls before
This one was stronger, which they can tell from it's patterns
And from how it is slim and had a feminine figure, they knew it's a woman
"You children caused a lot of trouble here~" The ghoul chuckled
"Especially, you" The ghoul poked Dahlia's forehead with her finger
"And I hate troublesome pretty faces" She said as she added pressure in the poking. Her nail pierced through Dahlia's forehead's skin slightly as blood trickle down from it
"LADY DAHLIA!!!!" Xinhua tried to go where Dahila is, to protect her
But Dahlia quickly gave a look at Xinhua, to stop him
Xinhua didn't caught it but Jeon did as he held Xinhua down from going towards her
"Calm down... don't forget what situation we are in..." Jeon whispered at Xinhua
"AND WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO!!! LET THE STUPID GHOUL-" Jeon immediately pressed his palm on Xinhua's mouth, silencing him desperately as cold sweat trickle down from his forehead
Xinhua kept on squirming and tried to get away from Jeon, his voice muffled
The ghoul was watching everything as she chuckled more, "Aww, how endearing"
"But..." She looked down at Dahlia as her yellow eyes narrowed
"I can't feed from your fear nor pain... are you holding it all back?" She asked Dahlia as by her tone Dahlia can tell
That she was irritated
"I would rather die then let you feed from it" Dahlia spits on her face
A vein popped on the Ghoul's forehead

The ghoul had broken Dahlia's jaw
An ugly crack sound came from it
Dahlia gasped as her eyes widened, she tried to hold off her pain
Her body trembled a lot as she gritted her teeth, but doing that caused her a lot of pain
She closed her eyes tightly
As she doubled over, she clutched her jaw tightly
Meanwhile, all the children including Fenry, Hunji, Jeon and Xinhua's eyes widened at seeing this
"NO!!! DAHLIA!!!" Hunji yelled out
"Her jaw... no..." Jeon murmured as he loosened his grip on Xinhua
Xinhua took this chance as he charged at the ghoul
"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!!!" Xinhua aimed to kick the ghoul's leg
But the ghoul grabbed Xinhua by his collar and lifted him up in air
"Hah... stupid little thing... thinking you can take me on?" The ghoul said as she chocked Xinhua in air
"NO!! LET HIM GO-" Dahlia was about to yell out but the ghoul stomped on Dahlia's back
Dahlia chocked out on air
She grunted as her nails dig in the ground as saliva and blood formed on the ground below
The ghoul kept her grounded on floor as she squirmed
"OI!!! LET THE TWO GO-" "Hunji... the hammer we have..." Fenry whispered to Hunji
Hunji's eyes widened
"You little insects, just wait till I capture you all. Then I will give you a real reason to cry from" The ghoul said as she kicked Dahlia on head
Dahlia hissed in pain as she felt a crack on her head
"No no no... don't react... don't react... hold it in... hold it in..." Dahlia thought internally as she clenched her fist on ground
Blood trickled down from her nose as well
She glared up at the ghoul
"LET HIM GO!!!! YOUR MAIN TARGET IS ME!!! I HELPED EVERYONE ESCAPE!!!" Dahlia yelled out at the ghoul
The ghoul was taken a back, "What the... even tho I made sure to cause her enough pain... yet... I can't even have the slightest taste of her pain..." she thought
"Your different... but I like to break things that are tough like you" she smirked as she tightened her grip around Xinhua's throat
Xinhua gasped as he gripped her hand tightly, his nails digging in her hand
Tears trickle down his face
He gritted his teeth tightly as he almost couldn't breath
He looked back at Dahlia, who was squirming and trying to reach out to him
Xinhua felt a lump forming on his throat even though he is being chocked
"Why... am I so useless?..." He thought internally
As flashbacks came before his eyes
Dahlia helping others with her knowledge
Fenry with his wit
Hunji with his strength
And lastly Jeon with his courage
Meanwhile, Xinhua just watched from the sidelines as they all find out ways to escape this world
Being always the one that needs saving and is useless
Xinhua closed his eyes before reopening them and looking up at the ghoul
"No... I refuse... to be weak and useless any longer!!!" Xinhua growled as he harshly bit her hand
The ghoul gasped, she hissed in pain
She threw Xinhua away, "HOW DARE YOU BIT ME, YOU STUPID MORTAL!!!!" she growled out
As Xinhua was gonna hit the ground, Jeon had quickly ran to where he is gonna fall. And caught him in his arms
"Xinhua... you okay?" Jeon asked as he was worried
Xinhua only hiccupped as he buried his face in Jeon's neck
His whole body was trembling
He was gasping for air as purple marks formed on his throat, caused by in being chocked
Jeon gently patted Xinhua's back, "There there... you did well... kiddo... you did well..." he comforted him soothingly
While keeping his eyes on the ghoul as he backed away
Fenry soon quickly goes towards where the ghoul is, he lifted his chin upwards
"Hey lady" Fenry smiled up at the ghoul
The ghoul blinked as she looked down at Fenry, while she was rubbing her hand
When she looked down, Fenry spit his dark blood on her face
The ghoul was taken a back as she backed away from Dahlia cause of the action, "YOU INSECTS-"
She was suddenly caught off as Hunji banged the hammer on her leg causing her to fall over
"Oooh, nice" Fenry gave a thumbs up before he quickly helped Dahlia up, ignoring the pain in his entire body
"C'MON!!! GO!!! GO!!! GO!!!" Hunji yelled out at everyone
All the children quickly fled away as Jeon carried Xinhua, while Fenry carried Dahlia
And Hunji was in front, he was guiding everyone away
"Dahlia!!! What now!!!" Hunji asked Dahlia
Dahlia panted heavy as she was wincing, clearly in a lot of pain
"Keep... running... until... we... find... a place... to... do the summoning again..." Dahlia could muster up this
"Got it... we just need a little time right? We can do this..." Jeon added on
Suddenly growls were heard from behind them
Everyone looked behind and saw around 5 ghouls chasing after them
"Where are you all going?~" One of the ghouls said
"We just wanna play~" Another added on
"They are slow... we can still outrun them" One of the children said
"No... they are fast... too faster..." Jeon said
"What- faster? But they are so slow-" "That is cause... they are toying us! CAN'T YOU GET THAT!!!" Hunji yelled out of frustration
All the children's eyes widened
Their body tensing up as they looked behind
The ghouls smiles were wide like usual as they were seemed to be just walking (they were still fast) instead of chasing after them for real
With their size... they can easily capture them all if they all wanted
While all the children didn't know what to say or do... except just follow after Hunji as he leads them
"Then why are we running if they are gonna catch us anyway?!" One of the children exclaimed
"To escape!!!" Hunji growled out
"AND HOW ARE WE GONNA ESCAPE WHEN YOU SAID THEY CAN EASILY CAPTURE US!!!!" One of them yelled out
"THEN IF YOU SO WANNA BE CAPTURED INSTEAD OF TRYING TO ESCAPE, YOUR WELCOME TO LEAVE THIS STUPID GROUP!!!!" Hunji finally snapped
Everyone flinched from him snapping at them
"Oi... Hunji... just focus on running instead of arguing or focusing on the useless things" Fenry commented as he said between breaths
Hunji only huffed as he kept on running, only looking forward
Jeon just looked at all the children blankly before looking forward, "I wish we could just leave them here, cause all they can do is be useless and whine" he mumbled
Xinhua heard him along with all the children
Xinhua only tried to focus on regaining his strength but internally he agreed on what Jeon had said
"Useless...?" Everyone thought internally as they looked at one another
They're body still tensed up
They all started to remember how they all just watched as Fenry, Hunji, Jeon, Dahlia and Xinhua helped them in many ways to save them
To find ways to return back to their world... while they watched from the sidelines
They were always at the receiving end
If the five wanted, they could've easily abandoned them all and escape this world...
But no... they all stayed behind
Cause for what?
To save them all. And bring them back to their respective families
One of the ghouls suddenly came forward, Hunji was gonna break the ghoul's legs with his hammer
But Hunji's arms couldn't handle the weight of the hammer any longer. Since he already used all his strength on the earlier woman ghoul. He felt like his arms are gonna break off
"Urgh... my arms are probably gonna rip off... but... I need to hang on... for them..." He thought internally as he tried all in his might to draw the hammer towards the ghouls
But his body didn't agreed with him as the hammer was about to gonna slip off from his grip
Until two from the children noticed and immediately reacted in time as they grabbed the hammer together, so it doesn't fall off
But their strength alone wasn't enough as 4 more supported the two in carrying the hammer
Hunji's eyes widened from seeing this, including Fenry, Jeon, Dahlia and Xinhua's eyes too
"EVERYONE, TURN TO LEFT QUICKLY AS I CAN SEE A ALLEYWAY!!!! LIKE THAT WE WON'T HAVE TO FACE THE GHOUL!!!" Another one of the children yelled out as she had noticed the alleyway in time
Everyone nodded quickly as they all quickly changed direction and turned to left
The ghoul, that was in the front blinked as it quickly went after them, "You can't escape me..." it growled out
The ghoul decided not to play anymore, he easily caught up to them
He was about to snatch a girl from one of the children

One of the children pulled out his shards as he threw it towards the ghoul's eyes
The ghoul screeched in pain as he fell down on ground
Many ghouls including all the children, Fenry, Hunji, Jeon, Dahlia and Xinhua's widened at the action of the other kid
"I am not gonna be useless!! This is the promise from Unimoshi!!!" Unimoshi huffed as he prepared more shards to hit, while running
Hunji only stares back before he smirked, "That is more like it!" he chuckled
Soon another one of the children pulled out a worn out clothe and made a makeshift rope, she took a stone from the ground
She wrapped the clothe to the stone
"Aim this" She handed to one of her friends
He quickly took it and knew what she was planning, "Time to shine, baby" he smirked
He threw it towards one of the houses and another too on the opposite direction
The clothe stuck well on the blocks
It wasn't long before the makeshift rope was raised and in the way of the ghouls
The ghouls that were following, stumbled on the makeshift rope
They all had fallen
"Nice aim, Poroki" The girl gave a thumbs up at her friend
"And nice thinking, Nene" Poroki grinned at her
"I think we lost them-" One of the children suddenly yelped when 10 more ghouls invaded their paths from the front
"Where are all of you are going?" One of the ghouls chuckled menacingly
Everyone stopped as their breathing hitched
Their body started to tremble as sweat trickled down from their foreheads and fell on ground
Eyes wide as they all stared at the far stretched smiling ghouls
Many had backed away
Their faces had paled
Hunji stayed on front as he prepared his hammer to hit the ghouls
Jeon (carrying Xinhua) and Fenry (carrying half of Dahlia's weight) was besides him
"We are being surrounded..." Jeon mumbled out as he looked at each of the ghouls
"Yeah... guess we have to face them head on..." Hunji tightened his grip on the hammer
All the children watched the five staying at the front, ready to fight for them as they're heart fluttered by the actions
"We... have to help them in whatever way possible!!!" One of the children exclaimed to the others
The others look at her before they all smiled
"Yeah... they are doing so much for us... it's our turn to return the favor" One of them said as he looked back at the ghouls with narrowed eyes with the others
"Agreed... we have to fight our fears... like those five there" One of them said as he cracked his knuckles
"So what are we waiting for?" Another one mumbled to the others
They all stepped forward together, one by one
Going pass both Fenry, Hunji, Jeon, Dahlia and Xinhua
The five blinked as they all looked around, not before long smiles appeared on their faces
All the children's eyes were narrowed as it glowed with a fierce fire of determination, strength and courage
But everyone were still in fear yet... they fought it
Everyone soon took a deep breath before...
"EVERYONE CHARGE!!!!!" All the children said in unison
The ghouls were taken a back
Before all the children rushed at the ghouls in unison
They all had separated into 10 groups
They all climbed on the ghouls as they bit, hit, pull on their hair or poke their eyes. All of the ghouls stumbled as they screeched
"AHHH!!! GET OFF!!! GET OFF!!! GET OFF!!!" One of the ghoul yelled out as suddenly he fell down on ground by another ghoul, who fell on top of him
The other ghoul who had fallen on top of the other had slipped, cause his eyes were poked by the children, making him unable to see
That is the reason why he fell on top of his teammate
"Urgh... you little creatures..." The other ghoul growled out as he scratched harshly on one of the children
The one who received the attack, his skin was tore off as he screamed out in pain
He had fallen off from the ghoul, the ghoul had caught him and was gonna eat him
Before all the children that were on that ghoul. Had started to harshly kept on hitting his face repeatedly as black blood gushed out from his nose and lips
"TAKE THIS FOR TRYING TO EAT OUR FRIEND!!!" One of them growled out as by his punch, one of the ghoul's teeth was broken off
The ghoul screeched in pain at the onslaught of the attacks
Couldn't receiving more he fainted
"Guys!!! I found dirt!!!" One of the children announced as she was carrying the dirt with the other 4 children
Immediately the other children that were on the four ghouls, forced open their eyes
The children carrying dirt, quickly threw it to the four ghouls eyes
"I CAN'T SEE!!!" One of the ghouls yells out
They started to claw everyone, injuring many children as their skin was tore off
Blood trickled down from there, but they didn't relented as they all looked at one another, having a silent agreement
They all put weight on a specific spot on the four ghouls
The ghouls stumbled
"What the-" "Stop-" "When did they grow heavy-" "My eyes hurt-" Suddenly they all were caught in the middle of their sentence as they all collided to one another with their heads smashing together
They all doubled over in pain
The many children climbed down from them
The 3 remaining ghouls somehow were able to get the children off them. But instead of going after the children, the 3 went to aid the 7 ghouls that were down
"They are just small mortals... but how could they do this to our teammates!!" One of them hissed
"I don't know..." Another groaned
"Forget about them!!! We have to aid our teammates!!!" Another reminded the two
All the children seeing this as a chance, they quickly fled away
While Fenry, Hunji, Jeon, Xinhua and Dahlia were now behind them
They all kept on running and running
None of them stopped for even a second

"Where will we all will go?" One of the children asked
All of them were panting heavily as they were slowly getting tired from all the running and fighting over the ghouls
It clearly exhausted their strength
"I don't know... we just have to keep on running without stopping..." Fenry added on as he knew well that if they ever stopped anywhere to rest...
The ghouls would find them easily
"But... I am tired... I can't... run... more-..." One of the children stumbled cause he was one of those that received the attacks from the ghouls earlier, while fighting
"Vin- Don't!!" Another quickly helped him up by wrapping Vin's arm around his shoulder, but his strength wasn't enough. And even he was also injured
"Wait- I am coming, Genk brother!!!" Another one quickly lended a hand as he wrapped Vin's other hand around his shoulder, helping Genk in carrying him
Hunji watched all this as it was not only just Vin, who was suffering. But more children were also having trouble in walking or staying conscious, as the others tried to helped them somehow
Even though they also weren't in a good condition as well
Hunji groaned, ruffling his hair. "Urgh... what are we supposed to do..." he mumbled to himself
Fenry had heard him as he narrowed his eyes
He also took a look around at everyone's condition
Even Dahlia who was suffering from the cracks on both her jaw and head
He pondered, "Where can we take them all?... I don't have any place in mind-... except..." a thought came in his mind
"Hey... I know a place... maybe no one will be there now..." Fenry announced
Hunji, Jeon, Xinhua and the many children looked at him
"Ok then... lead the way" Hunji let out a relieved sigh
Jeon nods along with all the children
Fenry only smiled as he started to lead on, while still carrying Dahlia
