Luna left a note.
But it wasn't written on parchment.
It was etched into the underside of her bedpost in mirror-ink, visible only under moonlight.
Rowan found it first.
It read:
"I saw the version where he never came.Where Harry Potter never arrived. And Hogwarts became… something else."
"I think I'm still there."
"Don't follow unless you know how to forget who you are."
How Did She Vanish?
Blaise, Theo, and Rowan tore through the castle's spells, charms, wards.
Nothing.
Then the Heartstone pulsed.
It projected an image — a mirror inside a mirror, like a folding hallway of light.
Inside the reflection?
Hogwarts.
But older.
Darker.
And above the gates stood a name:
"The Academy of Binding."
Not Hogwarts.Not anymore.
What They Saw
For two heartbeats, they could see Luna.
Wearing robes stitched in raven feathers.Standing with a wand shaped like a tuning fork.Eyes glowing grey.
And someone behind her.
Another Luna.
Smiling.
Whispering.
"This is the version where you never needed them."
"And maybe, just maybe… they never deserved you."
Then the image vanished.
Harry's Reaction
He was silent for a long time.
Then finally:
"If that place gave her a version of herself she believed in… we don't go pulling her out."
Rowan:
"So you're letting her go?"
Harry:
"No.
I'm trusting her to come back when we need her most."
