Scene 1: Dana's Final Play Begins
Dana sits in a dim café in Almaty, a cigarette between her fingers, talking to her brother on the phone.
DANA:
"They went through with it. Secret nikah. She has his name now."
LAWYER BROTHER:
"Then we'll make it illegal. I filed a claim—forced annulment, based on falsified documents."
DANA:
"And if that doesn't work… I still have her weakness."
She opens a file.
Inside: a photo of Marat, Ainur's real father—dead.
With a note:
Suspected suicide. Tied to political rebellion. Dangerous man.
Scene 2: Arman Finds the Threat
Arman receives an official letter from the District Court.
The marriage is being challenged.
"Unfit family background. Potential risk to community image."
He crumples the paper, heart pounding.
He runs to the orchard, where Ainur waits under the same tree they said their vows.
ARMAN (furious):
"They're trying to erase us like we're a mistake."
AINUR (quietly):
"Then let's remind them what love looks like when it refuses to be quiet."
Scene 3: Ainur's Face on the News
Later that night, an anonymous news blog posts a story:
"Daughter of a Political Rebel Secretly Marries into Land-Disputed Family"
Photos of Ainur and Arman flash on screen.
The villagers see. The whispers grow.
The school where Ainur volunteers tells her to "take a break."
Shops refuse to sell to her mother.
Even her aunt stops talking to them.
Scene 4: The Fire
One night, a rock is thrown through Arman's window.
Attached to it: a torn photo of him and Ainur, burned at the edges.
Then someone sets fire to the small wooden fence he was building for their new house.
ARMAN (yelling):
"Is this how far you'll go?! Is this what honor looks like to you?!"
Ainur runs out barefoot with water.
They save what they can… but part of the dream burns.
Scene 5: Ainur's Decision
Later, Ainur stands in front of her mirror, bruised by the stares and the silence.
She removes her earrings.
Unties her braid.
Takes a deep breath.
She walks into the village court office and asks:
AINUR:
"What happens if I keep his name… and fight you legally?"
The officer looks stunned.
AINUR (stronger now):
