Akira walks over and offers Kit a hand, which he accepts and stands up "that was a good duel Kit, you show you have amazing mastery over synchro summoning, it was just unfortunate I drew a good hand." Kit chuckles and nod in agreement "yeah, and man they Junk Warrior Extreme? It's powerful, and allows more synchro summoning." Akira chuckles as they talk while they walk back to the group.... You may be wondering why he's so respectful to Kit, well the two before him were arrogant as hell, while Kit was nervous and respectful.
Meanwhile the YuSho group are holding back Sora from jumping Kit. Himika is just stunned from how powerful Akira is, she truly expected someone who just started his official dueling career to be weak, yet she was proven wrong. Akira chuckles as the YuSho group just praises him when he gets to them.... But Himika is a bitch so she says "no, no, NO, I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THE THE TOP STUDENTS OF LDS LOST TO SOMEONE WHO JUST RECENTLY STARTED THEIR DUELING CAREER, YOU KUST HAVE CHEATED!" Akira sighs and goes to open his mouth, but surprisingly Kit beats him to the punch "lady Akaba, respectfully, shut your mouth. Akira didn't cheat as the duel disk he has from what I can see is the newest model from Kaiba Corp, which has many ways to stop someone from cheating. Second off, if Akira so chooses he can now sue you for defamation of him so choose your next words carefully ma'am."
The YuSho group and LDS duo plus Himiko are surprised by what Kit said, or that he even spoke up at all. Akira just chuckles and oats Kit's head "you're a good kid.... Now I do wonder what the duelist in the shadows will do since he lost~" everyone is confused until Reiji Akaba walks out of the shadow. "Impressive, didn't expect to be seen, now since my mother clearly doesn't like that she lost fair an square, I'll duel you with the same conditions, since Kaiba Corp. is already funding YuSho, that acceptable?" Akira chuckles at what Reiji said "sure, why not, besides it'll be a good occasion to test my Ancient Gear deck against an actually competent opponent, but after lunch as it's already noon." Everyone looks confused and looks at what they have to tell time.... And are surprised to see that Akira is indeed correct and Reiji nods in agreement as they all head to get lunch.
While they eat, Akira thinks to himself about if he truly wants to use his Ancient Gears or another deck, but Sora talking to him distracts him. Reiji is at a different table trying to decipher really, why he cares about YuSho so much. While he does that Sora noticed him staring at Akira and glares at him enough to burn holes through him, thankfully Akira got a call and left to answer it so Sora walks up to Reiji. "Why are you staring at him Akaba" he asks while holding the collar of Reiji's shirt. "I'm just trying to decipher him, not steal him from you, if I had to choose something to hate over my father, it's people who steal other people's lovers" Reiji answered truthfully, as while yes he's interested in Akira, he'd rather not destroy a happy relationship for his own selfish needs.
Sora nods and lets go of his shirt and heads back to his table, and although people around the cafeteria wanted to attack Sora for doing that to Reiji, one look from Reiji stops them as he thinks, as he does plan on testing the new pendulum cards he has created. Yet the thing he wonders is how he can win the duel against Akira as he knows the Ancient Gear archetype is usually considered weak for its lack of protection from spells and monster effects, but easily considered the strongest for beatstick monsters due to fusion monsters easily reaching over four thousand attack points. But the thing is that Akira is the adopted younger brother of the Kaibas so he has access to the rarest of rare cards.
While that's happening Akira comes back and continues to just talk with Sora as they finish up lunch.... Seems like it's time for the finale of this~
