Just as Kakashi was about to teach Kazama a lesson, the swarm of Mokuton bunshin launched a taijutsu assault on him.
See, Kazama's got this unlimited chakra physique, so he's never known what it feels like to run low on chakra.
"Not bad, kid. You're really something else. Too bad a taijutsu move like Shishi Rendan is child's play to me."
As expected, the Shishi Rendan that took down Sasuke didn't even scratch Kakashi.

A crackle of lightning sparked in Kakashi's right hand.
"Raikiri!"
The moment he unleashed that powerful Raikiri, the branches binding him were sliced to pieces.
"Don't hate me for picking on someone younger, Kazama. Your strength is way beyond what I expected."
Kakashi started walking toward Kazama as he spoke.
"I'm not mad, Kakashi-sensei. Like I said, bring it on!"
"Alright!"
The second Kakashi finished speaking, he flashed right in front of Kazama.
"Is this kid seriously not going to dodge?"
Seeing Kazama stand his ground, Kakashi was stunned. He'd only used Raikiri to intimidate Kazama, not to actually kill him.
But now, before Kakashi could pull back his Raikiri, Kazama stepped forward to meet it.
"Oh no!"
It was too late for Kakashi to dodge.
The moment Raikiri touched Kazama, it was absorbed into his body.
"You can *absorb* ninjutsu?!"
Kakashi's jaw dropped at Kazama's display. He'd thought Kazama was done for, or at least crippled. But instead, Kazama had absorbed his signature ninjutsu, Raikiri.
This Kazama kid wasn't human!

Even after gaining the ultra-S-rank Raiden Kirin, Kazama didn't stop. He still needed to push Kakashi to use his Sharingan. If he could absorb the Sharingan's power, he'd unlock the next level—Mangekyo Sharingan—and the third strange flame.

The Raiden power Kazama unleashed was dozens of times stronger than Kakashi's Raikiri, and so fast it was nearly invisible. Even Kazama, the caster, could hardly track the Kirin's attack path.
All he saw was a massive chunk of the surrounding forest reduced to nothing in an instant by his Raiden Kirin.
Kakashi, meanwhile, was yelling, "Holy crap!" as he scrambled to escape.
