"Young DragonFolk...you shouldn't interfere in these matters" The God of Technique said in a deep voice while staring intently at me.

"Heh..." All that could come out of my mouth was a mocking sound and Laplace's astonished gaze.

"And who's going to stop it?" I replied sarcastically, and his eyes widened in shock.

"...so bet it" He muttered and quickly moved away from me.

"I've seen a lot about you, Rudeus Boreas Greyrat..." He said in a grave tone.

And through my mana eye, I could see that mana was rapidly accumulating in his body.

"I won't deny that you're strong, I've never seen a "DragonFolk, so young, becoming so strong so fast... you even defeated Lunaria," he said as his gaze turned towards the house with a complicated expression.

"But there are simply forces you shouldn't play with, and if you don't control yourself... I'll have to control you myself!"

He screamed and immediately lunged at me with terrifying speed; I could barely see him with my eyes And when I realized it, he was already in front of me, ready to punch me in the jaw.

"Hmph!" But I immediately let myself fall and the blow only grazed my scalp, a slight chill ran down my spine and I realized what was happening.

'I could only defeat Lunaria with the Rinnegan...in this world there are forces that are still far beyond me...' I murmured to myself.

Immediately my eyes changed from their usual green to a dark purple with circular black lines.

"Haaa!!" Laplace lunged at me again, but now he was as fast as a snail to me.

*kroooom!!*

Without the slightest effort, I stopped his fist, which was aimed at my face, and a shockwave was released around us.

"W-what?!" The scream came in complete shock as he found himself unable to move.

'Bro, you're not him!' I couldn't help but think to myself with a slight smile.

"Haaa!" With relative ease, I was able to counter Laplace's attack, sending him flying far away to safety. I couldn't let him continue destroying Sharia, but surely there would already be tremendous chaos in the city because of it.

"Haaaa..." I sighed heavily as I looked home.

Only Lunaria was outside, staring at me blankly and expressionlessly before nodding slightly. That was her way of saying, basically, "Kill that bastard," and I couldn't be more grateful to her for it.

So, without further ado, I quickly headed towards where Laplace had been thrown like a rag doll, reaching him swiftly and without any trouble.

'What should I do? This guy has two of the sacred treasures that will help Lunaria reach Hitogami... but if I kill him now, I'll only get one... I'll have to force him to return the BeastGod's sacred treasure...' I muttered to myself as I flew through the air. My Rinnegan emitted a faint glow, and immediately two black rods formed in my hands.

"Tch! Damn it!" Laplace barely managed to stabilize himself before I had already closed the distance between us.

"Hmmmp!!" He extended his arms, and immediately the world around me changed color until it was plunged into complete darkness.

"Huh?!" I was momentarily confused by this, but thanks to the Rinnegan, I realized that this was simply an illusion, which I immediately dispelled.

"Nngh!" But just as I did, a massive fireball hurtled toward me. I could feel the heat burning my body.

"Divine fire magic... this guy's not playing around, huh?" I muttered to myself as I extended both hands forward and nullified the spell with magical distortion until the enormous fireball vanished from sight in less than a millisecond.

But in less than a millisecond, Laplace had already launched more attacks, including a King-rank lightning bolt, God-rank water magic, and Emperor-rank earth magic.

I was able to stop all of them except the lightning bolt, which I let fall since the damage it caused was to a single, precise point that wouldn't have any repercussions because we were far from human cities.

"Phew..." A small bead of sweat trickled down my forehead, so I decided that the wisest thing to do right now was to stop this immediately, and that's what I did.

"Haaaa!!!" Using all my speed, I lunged at Laplace. The two thick, hard, black rods... pierced his stomach and chest in milliseconds. Second.

"Guuh!!" He barely managed a guttural sound as he felt his mana being sealed instantly. The attacks he was planning dissipated in mid-air as he stared intently into my eyes.

I could clearly see the confusion in his eyes at what had happened, but I didn't let him react any further.

"Haaa!" With a King Rank Sonic Boom, I slammed him into the ground at tremendous speed and used more black rods to pin him down, preventing him from moving.

"Aagh! W-what kind of magic item is this?!" he screamed in terror as he tried unsuccessfully to break free.

Now he was no stronger than a normal human. All his mana had been sealed, and his Dragon Aura had been nullified simultaneously. Exhaustion began to overwhelm him rapidly, while despair invaded his body even faster. He never thought he would be defeated in such a humiliating and brutal way. Quickly.

So he stared at me intently as I landed lightly in front of him, my expression impassive, which only made him more desperate.

"How is this possible?!" he shouted with utter indignation, his eyes red with rage and his teeth grinding loudly. "You're not even a century old and you're already this powerful! That's impossible! How?!" he yelled angrily, but I just crossed my arms.

"I don't have to answer you. I just want you to answer one thing, or you'll die," I said, and he clenched his teeth even tighter.

"I'll never tell you anything! You're an outcast! A hideous half-breed! You shouldn't even exist!" he shouted in despair, but I just sighed.

"I'll ask you once," I said firmly. "Where is the BeastGod's sacred treasure, and why did you take it?" I asked, and he just smiled mockingly.

Staring at me, he just spat on the ground and looked at me. With hatred.

"First you'll have to kill me, you damned monstrosity," he mocked, and I just sighed again as I approached him.

"Damn it, why do these arrogant bastards always have to be like this... everything would be easier if they were as cooperative as Lunaria..." I muttered to myself, barely containing my annoyance.

Using my [Hypnosis] ability, just like with Gesse, I made him reveal the location of the BeastGod's sacred treasure and why he took it, and honestly... I never thought I'd hear the words I would hear from him...

"Your god... betrayed you..." He spoke in an expressionless tone, and I immediately raised an eyebrow, but a chill ran down my spine.

"Morgan, right? That's what you call him," he said in a measured tone, and I immediately gritted my teeth, forcing myself to calm down quickly.

"I'm so sorry about what happened, but...do you really think such a powerful god would just give you all that power for no reason? No! You, me, Hitogami, and all the inhabitants of this world are his puppets! Hahaha!!!" He laughed mockingly, and I forced myself to remain silent to avoid showing weakness, but inside, my mind was in chaos.

'Damn...that bastard is worse than Hitogami...' I couldn't help but mutter to myself as I stared at the sky.

I forced myself to stay calm as I looked at him intently, and then I spoke.

"What did Morgan tell you?" I asked, and he looked me straight in the eyes.

"Nothing... he simply told me to take the BeastGod's sacred treasure because an evil DragonFolk had defeated Lunaria and now wished to destroy the world," he said, and my eyebrows furrowed again.

"What I'm saying doesn't make sense, does it?" he asked, but his voice came out different, older, calmer.

"!!!" Before I knew it, I was in the middle of a blank space, chained all over, unable to move an inch.

"Aaah!!" I screamed in frustration when Morgan materialized in front of me with a kind smile that made my blood boil.

"Surprised, aren't you?... Gaining your trust wasn't as difficult as I expected..." he said as he slowly approached me.

"I was even surprised that you believed me all these years without doubting me for even a moment... that just goes to show how pathetic you are!" He laughed, then slapped me so hard I almost fainted, but with all my willpower, I forced myself to stay awake no matter what.

"W-why?!" I could barely manage a whimper as the world around me spun.

"It would be better to ask why not?!" he yelled, grinning as he threw his arms wide like a maniac, a smile that chilled me to the bone.

"Oh, but I wasn't kidding about you being such a great source of entertainment! I've spent the last fifteen years reveling in your adventures! You've certainly been fun!" he said, and I gritted my teeth, staring at him. I knew I couldn't act impulsively. Everything I'd achieved was thanks to this bastard, and if I crossed him, he'd take it all away...

"But then why? Why deceive me like this?!" I demanded, and his smile became even more sadistic.

"Oh, but I thought you were a great source of entertainment, I guess! I was really looking for trouble." "Because otherwise I could never have enjoyed that expression of yours! Just look at you! You're so terrified you're pale! How does it feel, huh? After being on top, now you're back on the ground, aren't you? You feel oppressed, don't you? You feel trapped?" he whispered in my ear, and all I could do was lower my head. My heart pounded in my ears as my mind raced, trying to find a way out, but that was simply denying reality.

There was no way out.

"So... you just did this for more fun?" I asked, and he nodded with a mocking smile.

"Of course! Now that you're the strongest being in this universe, wouldn't it be best for you to have a real, worthy enemy?" he said, and all I could do was sigh heavily as hatred and fear gnawed at me.

"But why? Why?! Why are you doing this to me?! Are you Hitogami?!" I screamed loudly, and he just made a face of disgust, which only made me angrier.

"Blegh! Do I look desperate to you?! Do you really think that bastard could do anything against me?! Even you, in your current state, could defeat him!" he said, and I trembled violently with rage.

"So what do you want?! Do you want to kill me?! Do you want to take my family away from me?! What do you want?!" I screamed, no longer able to contain my anger, which made him smile even more as he slowly approached me.

"Oh hehe... I simply want to see you live your life now, day by day, knowing that there will always be a being stronger than you in a place you can never reach, who will always, always be above you... You can defeat Hitogami, you can conquer this world, destroy it and rebuild it as you wish... but I will always be there, watching you, and you will know it. You will dance in the palm of my hand for the rest of your life, and you will accept it... because if you don't, then all your powers will be lost... Remember your mana training... you didn't even reach intermediate rank before my intervention." He whispered in my ear, and all I could do was clench my fists and teeth in anger as I tried to break free from the chains, even though I knew I never could.

"Now go back, defeat Hitogami and keep entertaining me, okay? You have no other choice," he said, and before I could answer, my consciousness faded and I returned to that destroyed valley where Laplace was still chained with black rods.
