Chapter 4 - 13 million!

"13.... Million!???"

"Yes, 13 million"

You were surprised, right?" says one of the boys who was telling the price of the car.

"By the way, it has a Rolls-Royce Phantom's 6.76L V12 engine, which is a bit slow, but that doesn't mean the car isn't fast, Its horsepower is 453 and it can reach a speed of 150 mph."

"Anyway, it's not just about speed; it's about luxury. Its comfortable seats and the quiet nature inside make it a joy to sit in such a car."

As people are talking, they are informing others about which car it is, how comfortable it is, how luxurious it is, and how fast it is.

The five cars stop in front of the hospital gate, and the first four big-sized cars unload their passengers.

Their entire bodies were well-fitted; they were wearing black coats, black pants, a tie, a white shirt underneath the black coat, and black sunglasses. More people get out of the cars, and if you count them, there are 16 individuals.

From the middle car among the five, a man, probably aged around 50 or 55, emerges from the front seat.

He is dressed in a butler's outfit and has glasses on his right eye.

The butler looks at the hospital building and says, "According to the information, Mr. Arthur is in room number 8 on the third floor of this hospital.

"We need to reach there without disturbing anyone, so let's go."

Well, they must have a different definition of "disturb," because the people who brought the car had already disturbed others.

Well, we can't say much about that.

Let's move ahead.

Sixteen bodyguards and a butler start to enter the hospital building, and without disturbing anyone — well, they think that. Still, they reach the third floor of the hospital building.

In front of room number 8, the butler stops and, turning back to look at the bodyguards, "I am going inside to speak with Mr. Arthur." Saying this, the butler opens the room's gate.

Inside the room, Arthur looks toward the door at the sound of it opening.

An elderly man, around 50 or 55 years old, dressed like a butler, enters the room. He walks straight with small steps, and his appearance is notable. He is wearing a black suit, a white shirt underneath, and a knotted bow tie, which makes him look very impressive.

His hair has some white strands, and he gives off a vibe of wisdom and knowledge. His blue eyes indicate that he is very intelligent.

The butler stops near Arthur's hospital bed and observes him carefully, then nods slightly, as if confirming that he is indeed the person he came to meet.

He places his hand on his left side and bows slightly, saying, "It is nice to meet you. My name is Alfred Winters, and I serve Master Vincent Aldridge. Master Vincent Aldridge wishes to meet you, Mr. Arthur Lios."

Looking at the butler, Arthur's mind fills with questions: "Who is he? Oh wait, he just said his name is Alfred Winters, and he mentioned serving a Master Vincent Aldridge… Vincent Aldridge… Vincent… Vincent.

It feels like I've heard that name somewhere, but when? It's been a long time since I heard that name…!!!?

After thinking for a moment, Arthur remembers where he had heard that name.

Vincent Aldridge… Vincent… Uncle Vincent!!!"

It belonged to a friend of his father's whom he had met many times during his childhood.

"Are you talking about my Uncle Vincent, who was tall and had brown eyes, with short black hair, and a very sharp mind? He could solve all mathematical problems in no time."

Hearing this, the butler looks a little shocked, but his face remains unchanged and completely calm. In a calm voice, he says, "Yes, you could say that I am talking about him.

And Mr. Arthur, my master Vincent Aldridge wants to see you, so he sent me to bring you to him."

"Oh, okay, I'd like to come, first, you need to get me discharged from the hospital. But I don't think the doctor will let me go so easily—after all, I've recovered a bit too quickly, right?"

"Well, you don't need to worry about that because we have already discharged you from the hospital," the butler says in a serious tone.

"Huh? The doctor has discharged me?" Arthur says, a bit confused.

"Do you have any doubt?" the butler asks.

"No, no, no, but. I also need to go to the bathroom and change my clothes because I'm still wearing the hospital clothes. You know what I mean, right" Arthur replies.

"Yes," the butler thinks for a moment, then says in a serious tone, "And a dress is ready for you to change into."

After that, the butler bows, walks to the door of the room, opens it, and steps out, closing the door behind him.

Arthur watches as the butler leaves, and once he confirms that the door is fully closed, he gets up from the bed and begins doing some light exercises on the floor, saying to himself,

"After sleeping for so long, it's important to move my arms and legs."

Arthur is exercising, but his mind is still occupied with the butler's words.

Vincent, a very good friend of his father's, Arthur doesn't remember many things because he was a little child at that time, but it's not like he has forgotten everything.

After a little while, Arthur comes out of the bathroom.

The butler enters the room and asks, "Are you ready, Mr. Arthur?"

"Yes," Arthur replies with a simple word and begins to walk toward the door of the hospital room.

The butler nods.

"Everything is ready. We can all go."

He turns to the bodyguards. "Let's go."

Then he faces Arthur once more and adds, "Mr. Arthur, let's go."

Arthur takes a deep breath, exhales slowly, and finally says,

"Let's go."

When Arthur steps out of the room, he sees that there are guards standing on both sides of his room, all wearing black coats, and seeing this, he is very shocked, "What... is this?"

The butler faces Arthur and says, "Bodyguards."

"I know that, but why are there are so many bodyguards—1... 2... 3... 4... 16 bodyguards! I mean, I have seen three or four or five bodyguards with people or VIPs, but never this many bodyguards before. Who are they guarding?" Arthur says to the butler.

"Mr. Arthur, we had to take you safely as per Master Vincent's orders. But we also weren't supposed to draw attention, so we've come with very few bodyguards," the butler tells him.

Hearing this, Arthur becomes speechless and thinks, "I have no words for what to say. 16 bodyguards, and that's still not enough? What would it be like with 50 or 100 bodyguards? Does anyone really roam around with that many bodyguards?"

Arthur could only do one thing, so he did it: "Ha ha ha."

Seeing Arthur laughing, the butler doesn't understand why he is laughing. "Maybe I said something funny," he thinks. Not overthinking it, the butler tells the bodyguards, "Remember, we shouldn't gain attention. We will leave just as we arrived, unnoticed."

All the bodyguards say in unison, "Yes, butler." Hearing this, the butler nods, turns toward Arthur, and slightly bows while extending his hand to the right, saying,

"Mr. Arthur, this way."

Arthur and the butler, along with the bodyguards, move from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor.

The butler guides Arthur towards the cars.

Arthur is not shocked to see the cars, which means he had some expectations beforehand because of their clothes and actions.

The way the butler was introduced and all the bodyguards present suggests they come from a strong background. However, he is still a bit surprised; I mean, who wouldn't be surprised to see these cars? Look at these: BMW, Audi, Rolls-Royce, and even a Range Rover.

Well, Arthur doesn't know the models of these cars or what makes them special. You could say he knows nothing about these cars.

This is completely natural; I mean, why would an average person remember them if they don't have anything to do with those cars? If you're a car dealer and enjoy gathering information about cars, maybe you might know.

But a normal person doesn't pay much attention to these things; they just know which company makes the car, and that's enough for them.

So, you can't blame Arthur.

Reaching the cars, the butler opens the back seat door of the Rolls-Royce Sweptail and says to Arthur, "Mr. Arthur, please get inside the car." Arthur gets in without thinking much.

The butler turns to the bodyguards and says, "Alright, everyone, get inside the cars." Saying this, he also sits in the front seat of the Rolls-Royce Sweptail.

All the cars start slowly and quietly exit the hospital. Well, they think they are leaving without drawing any attention, but little do they know that everyone is talking about them.

"When I first saw these cars, I didn't think there would be so many people, and they were all in black suits; it felt like there was a Men in Black shooting happening here."

"I also think a Men in Black movie is being filmed here."

"Seriously, a Men in Black shoot? What are you guys thinking? Didn't you notice what they came here for?"

"No?"

"No?"

"You really don't know? Actually, I don't either."

" But, I saw carefully that those people all got out of the car and went inside the hospital, and after a few minutes, they came out with a young man who was quite handsome." Hearing this, everyone starts giving him odd looks.

"Do you have a problem?"

"No, not at all."

"No, not at all."

"No, not at all."

"No, not at all."
