Aiden did not think about what others are or might be thinking, he did not hesitate for even a second after his first strike. He knew all too well that wolves healed quickly, and if he allowed Carl any time to recover, this fight would become dangerous for him.
So he swung again, using all the strength his body could muster. His hammer came down with a heavy thud, connecting with Carl's solar plexus. Carl let out a harsh gasp, the wind completely knocked out of him, and his body curled instinctively in pain. Aiden did not wait to see if Carl would recover. He adjusted his grip on the hammer and swung again, this time aiming for Carl's elbow and wrist, smashing them with calculated precision. He wanted to be sure that Carl could not bring out his claws or retaliate in any way.
