Chapter 56 - Chapter 56: Let’s Go — Time to Have Children

[Paradise Island, DC Universe — Night into Dawn]

This night was destined to be sleepless for Paradise Island.

In the cells, the enslaved Amazons comforted one another and prayed that the gods of Olympus might rescue them. In the corner, the once-mighty Queen and General wore shackles on wrists and ankles, their nobility and elegance stripped away.

After waking, they had been locked here and learned what had transpired before they lost consciousness. Artemis had visited not long ago, explaining the Amazons' situation, Diana's circumstances, Jack Kadere's demands—all of it. The information left even the decisive Hippolyta unable to settle on a course of action.

Anger? Worry?

Even regret.

Had she known that a white horse would bring such suffering to Paradise Island and Diana, she would have given up her own horse without hesitation. She would have led the beast for him herself if it meant avoiding this.

The night breeze blew gently, rustling the leaves outside.

---

Inside Hippolyta's chamber.

Jack Kadere lay on a sleeping mat of unfamiliar animal hide and pulled Artemis—freshly stripped of her armor—toward him.

"Finally, a decently sized body pillow." He chuckled softly and drew her against his side.

Artemis, usually battle-hardened and agile, had gone stiff. She closed her eyes and lay motionless, even lowering her breathing to near silence. Jack Kadere's gaze traveled lazily over her modest chest before he settled in, holding her close, and drifted off.

After a while, his breathing steadied into sleep.

"Asleep?" Artemis slowly opened her eyes, surprised. He had actually fallen asleep.

In the dimness, she stared at his face. After who knows how long, sleep claimed her too.

Good habits woke her early. Opening her eyes, she found Jack Kadere right before her, arms wrapped around her as if they were inseparable. Startled, she was about to rise when—

Bang.

The door was shoved open.

"Who—!" Artemis moved to get up, but Diana had already crossed the room to their side.

Bright red chest armor. Blue skirt. Golden knee-high boots. Bracers on both wrists and a W-shaped tiara on her forehead. She held a shield in one hand and pointed the long sword at Jack Kadere with the other, her voice full of heroic confidence.

"Jack Kadere, I challenge you!"

The sharp cry woke him. Still holding Artemis by the shoulders, he opened his eyes.

"Eh?"

Seeing Diana in her full Wonder Woman regalia, Jack Kadere chuckled. "Are you here to challenge me or catch me cheating? This early in the morning—are you that eager to make a baby with me?"

"I will defeat you!" Diana said through gritted teeth.

"Because of the God-Slaying Sword?" Jack Kadere rose unhurriedly and crooked a finger at Artemis. Still dazed from recognizing the significance of the sword, Artemis hesitated a moment before hurrying over to help him dress.

Watching the scene, Diana's anger deepened.

"Bring everyone out," Jack Kadere said casually. "They should all be very interested in this challenge."

After donning her armor, Artemis rushed out the door.

"Later, you can wear that outfit when we make a baby." Jack Kadere patted Diana's shoulder as he passed. "This time we won't use the Lasso of Truth. It distracted me. I'd rather focus all my attention on you."

Setting aside the halo of her Wonder Woman identity, Diana herself was exceptionally alluring. But because of the Lasso, most of his attention yesterday had been devoted to... academic discussions.

---

The Amazons were led out one by one and gathered in the plaza. Learning that Diana intended to challenge Jack Kadere for their freedom, excitement spread through the crowd. Hippolyta and Antiope had been worried at first, but seeing Diana emerge with the God-Slaying Sword, they allowed themselves a small breath of relief.

The God-Slaying Sword couldn't truly kill gods, but its quality and power were unmatched. With that blade, perhaps Diana could defeat him?

Under their expectant gazes, Jack Kadere strolled leisurely to the center of the plaza.

He glanced around at the hopeful Amazons, then at Diana—poised, confident, divine light shimmering faintly along the blade.

"Come on," he said.

"Hah!"

Diana wasted no time. With a fierce cry, shield raised, she charged.

The fight had begun.

Everyone tensed, watching without blinking.

Diana had received the strictest training since childhood, far surpassing others in intensity. Now that she had awakened her divine power and possessed the God-Slaying Sword, she should—she should succeed, shouldn't she?

Bang!

Her incoming shield met Jack Kadere's casual wave and stopped dead. In the same motion, her boots flashed—bright gold and dark red—thrusting toward his lower abdomen.

His hand transformed from block to slap, batting downward. Diana felt tremendous force transmit through her legs, driving them to the ground against her will. She swung the God-Slaying Sword in compensation.

Before the blade arrived, the hand that had deflected her kick shifted from palm to fist and blasted forward.

Diana grunted as the impact sent her skidding backward, the God-Slaying Sword stabbing into stone, carving a long furrow in the plaza floor.

"You can't beat me like this. Use your full strength." Jack Kadere smiled faintly. "Although even at full strength, you still won't beat me."

Hah!

Diana roared again.

Divine power exploded outward. The God-Slaying Sword blazed with fierce, dazzling radiance.

The Amazons retreated, shielding their eyes. The shockwave of divine energy felt like standing in the heart of a storm—impossible to look upon directly.

At the center of that storm, Diana raised the God-Slaying Sword and advanced relentlessly, thrusting toward Jack Kadere with everything she had.

Light blazed. Lightning flashed. Thunder rolled.

Hippolyta stared at the God-Slaying Sword, mouth open.

It must succeed. It must succeed!

This sword—carrying Diana's divine power and the prayers of every Amazon—arrived before Jack Kadere.

Infinite Superposition. Tenfold.

Jack Kadere murmured softly and raised his hand.

He caught the God-Slaying Sword bare-handed.

Blocked?

He had blocked the God-Slaying Sword with his hand.

The sight stunned everyone. Surprise flashed through Diana's eyes before hardening into resolve. With a hysterical roar, she gripped the hilt and shoved forward with all her might.

Even if you are a god—the God-Slaying Sword can slay gods!

Carrying that conviction, the relentless Diana heard a sound.

Crack.

Crack.

Jack Kadere remained completely still. The God-Slaying Sword was shortening.

The God-Slaying Sword was breaking.

Diana watched in shock and disbelief as Jack Kadere, smiling faintly, crushed the legendary blade to pieces bit by bit. He grabbed her wrist, shattered the hilt, bent down, and hoisted her directly over his shoulder.

"Let's go." He turned toward the palace

....

The stone corridors passed in a blur of torchlight and shadow. Diana hung over Jack Kadere's shoulder, the cold metal of her armor pressing against her stomach with each of his unhurried steps. She could smell the salt of the sea drifting through the open windows, mingled with the sharp copper tang of her own exertion and the lingering ozone of divine lightning that had accomplished nothing.

I lost. I lost completely.

Her hands, which had gripped the God-Slaying Sword moments ago, now hung uselessly at her sides. Fragments of the legendary blade still littered the plaza behind them. Every Amazon had witnessed it—her mother, Antiope, Artemis. All of them had watched Jack Kadere crush her weapon and her hopes with the same casual indifference.

The door to Hippolyta's chamber swung open. He stepped inside and kicked it shut behind him.

"Put me down." Diana's voice came out hoarser than she intended.

"Gladly."

He tossed her onto the sleeping mat. She landed with a grunt, the unfamiliar animal hide rough against her bare shoulders where the armor didn't cover. Morning light filtered through the window, painting the chamber in pale gold. The room smelled of sandalwood and something muskier—Artemis had been here all night, Diana remembered. The thought sent an irrational spike of something through her chest.

Jack Kadere stood over her, that infuriating half-smile on his face. "The God-Slaying Sword. Really, Diana. Did you think that would work?"

She pushed herself up on her elbows, glaring at him. Her tiara had gone askew during the fight. Sweat dampened her hairline, made the dark strands cling to her temples.

"I had to try."

"Mmm." He crouched down, bringing his face level with hers. His hand reached out and adjusted her tiara—straightening it with surprising gentleness before plucking it from her head entirely and setting it aside. "You did. And now you're here. As agreed."

Diana's jaw tightened. The Amazons would remain unharmed if she gave herself to him. That was the deal. She had tried to circumvent it, tried to win, and she had failed.

And part of you is relieved you failed, whispered a voice that sounded uncomfortably like her own.

"The armor," Jack said. "Off."

Her fingers moved to the clasps before she could think to refuse. The red chest piece loosened, then fell away to reveal the simple linen binding beneath. The blue skirt followed, pooling around her hips until she lifted herself to slide it free.

Jack watched with open appreciation as she undressed, piece by piece. The golden boots required her to sit up, to work at the intricate straps while he observed. Her bracers went last—the symbols of her heritage as a warrior, removed and set carefully beside her discarded tiara.

When she was down to nothing but the linen binding and a thin strip of cloth around her hips, she stopped.

"All of it," he said.

Diana met his eyes. She had faced monsters, armies. She had never felt as exposed as she did unwinding the binding from her chest under his gaze.

Her breasts fell free—full and heavy, dark nipples already stiffening in the morning air. She heard his quiet exhale, felt the weight of his attention like a physical thing against her skin.

"Beautiful," he murmured. Not mocking. Almost reverent.

She hooked her thumbs into the last remaining cloth and pulled it down her thighs, kicking it aside. Completely bare now, lying on the sleeping mat in her mother's chamber, Diana resisted the urge to cover herself.

You are an Amazon princess. You do not cower.

Jack's clothes followed his with considerably less ceremony—tunic pulled overhead, pants pushed down. Diana's breath caught at the sight of him.

He was already hard. His cock jutted out from a thatch of dark hair, thick enough that her stomach clenched at the thought of accommodating it. The head was flushed dark, a bead of moisture gathering at the tip.

"You're staring," he said, amused.

"I—" She swallowed. "I have not seen many."

"Many?"

"Any," she admitted. "The Amazons have... sculptures. Art. But—"

"No living men." He knelt on the mat beside her. "This will be your first time, then."

It wasn't a question. Diana nodded anyway, hating the vulnerability of it.

His hand cupped her face—warm, rough-callused. His thumb traced her cheekbone. "I'll try not to break you like I broke your sword."

Bastard.

But her body responded to the touch despite her anger. Heat pooled low in her belly. When he kissed her, she found herself kissing back—tentatively at first, then with growing urgency as his tongue slid against hers.

He tasted of something unfamiliar. Not unpleasant. She chased the flavor, her hands finding his shoulders, his back. His skin was warm and smooth over hard muscle.

His mouth left hers to trail down her jaw, her throat. Diana tilted her head back, breath coming faster. His teeth grazed her pulse point and she gasped—a soft, surprised sound she immediately wanted to take back.

"Nnnhh—"

His hand found her breast, cupped it, squeezed. His thumb rolled across her nipple and Diana's hips jerked involuntarily.

"Sensitive," he observed against her collarbone. "Good."

He pinched lightly and she moaned—an actual moan, low and unguarded. Her face flushed with something other than exertion.

This is... this is...

His mouth closed over her other nipple and coherent thought scattered. Wet heat, the pressure of his tongue, the edge of his teeth. Diana's fingers threaded through his hair without her permission, holding him there.

"Ahh— haaah—"

Her thighs fell apart as his free hand trailed down her stomach, over the curve of her hip. His fingers found the junction of her legs and—

"Oh gods—"

Wet. She was wet. His fingers slid through her folds with obscene ease, spreading her arousal.

"Already this ready," he murmured against her breast. "Did fighting me excite you, Diana?"

"N-no—"

"Liar."

He found the nub of her clit and pressed. Diana's back arched off the mat, a strangled cry tearing from her throat.

"Nnnnhhh—!"

Her hands scrabbled at his shoulders as he circled that spot—slow, deliberate, maddening. Pleasure built in waves, each one higher than the last. She was panting now, chest heaving, all pretense of composure abandoned.

"That's it," he said. "Let me hear you."

One finger pressed inside her. Diana whimpered at the intrusion—strange, stretching, not unpleasant. A second finger joined the first and she felt the burn of it, the unfamiliar fullness.

"Tight," he observed, pumping slowly. "Very tight."

Her inner walls clenched around his fingers. The wet sounds of his movements filled the chamber—obscene, unmistakable. If anyone walked past, they would know exactly what was happening.

Let them know. Let them all know.

The thought should have horrified her. Instead, it sent another surge of heat through her core.

His thumb found her clit again as his fingers curled inside her, pressing against a spot that made her vision white out momentarily.

"AH—!"

"There?"

"Y-yes— yes—"

He pressed again, harder, and Diana shattered.

The orgasm crashed through her like divine lightning—her whole body seizing, back arching, mouth open in a silent scream that became a ragged moan as wave after wave of pleasure rolled through her.

"Aaahhhhnnn— haaah— nnnnhh—!"

She collapsed back onto the mat, trembling, aftershocks still sparking through her nerves. Through the haze, she felt him shifting—felt the blunt pressure of something much larger than his fingers pressing against her entrance.

Her eyes flew open.

Jack Kadere knelt between her spread thighs, one hand bracing himself, the other guiding his cock to her soaked opening. The head notched against her, thick and insistent.

"Ready?" he asked.

Diana looked up at him—at this man who had conquered Paradise Island, defeated her in combat, and was now about to claim her body. His expression held none of the cruelty she might have expected. Only hunger, and something that almost looked like tenderness.

Am I ready?

She had been ready since the Lasso of Truth forced her to admit what she truly wanted.

"Yes."

He pushed forward.

The first inch stretched her wider than his fingers had, stealing her breath. Diana grabbed his forearms, nails digging in, as he pressed deeper—slow but relentless, giving her body time to accommodate him even as it burned.

"Shh," he murmured. "Breathe."

She tried. It came out as a stuttered gasp as another inch sank into her.

So full. Too full.

And still there was more. Her inner walls rippled around the intrusion, trying to adjust, clenching involuntarily. The sensation hovered somewhere between pain and pleasure, impossible to categorize.

Finally—finally—his hips met hers. He was fully seated inside her, his cock filling her completely, pressing against places she hadn't known existed.

Diana trembled beneath him, overwhelmed. "Move," she managed. "Please—just—move—"

He did.

The first thrust punched a cry from her lungs. He withdrew slowly, then slammed back in, and Diana's vision blurred.

"Ah—! Ah—!"

He set a rhythm—deep, powerful strokes that rocked her entire body. The sleeping mat bunched beneath them. Her breasts bounced with each impact. The wet slap of flesh against flesh echoed off the stone walls.

It's too much. It's not enough.

"More," she heard herself beg. "Harder—"

He obliged.

His pace increased, hips snapping forward with enough force to drive the breath from her body. Diana wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him deeper, her heels digging into his back.

The angle changed. He hit that spot inside her and she screamed.

"AAAH—! Yes— there— don't stop—!"

She could feel another orgasm building, different from the first—deeper, more powerful. Her whole body tightened around him, drawing him in.

"Close," Jack grunted, his own breath coming faster now. "You're so fucking tight—"

One hand found her clit, rubbing in fast circles even as he continued to thrust. Diana sobbed with pleasure, overwhelmed by sensation.

"I can't— I'm going to—"

"Come," he ordered. "Come on my cock, Diana."

She obeyed.

This orgasm tore through her like the destruction of a world—her inner walls clamping down, her voice rising in a wail that surely carried to the plaza where her sisters still waited. She felt him swell inside her, felt the hot pulse of his release flooding her depths.

"Nnnhhhh—!"

They collapsed together, sweat-slicked and panting. Diana's thighs quivered uncontrollably. Her heartbeat hammered against her ribs. Between her legs, she could feel him still inside her, softening slowly, their mingled fluids beginning to leak out around his spent cock.
