Selene returned to the medical room three or four times to have cold cream applied to her hands, accompanied by Ronald.
All because the warden in Block E allowed Ronald to take Selene to the medical room for treatment. They were afraid that their chief would find out that his favorite woman's hands were irritated because of their actions.
"Aren't you afraid of Chief Rothwell seeing you with her?" asked Warden Rafael.
"Why should I be afraid?" he asked innocently.
"She's his favorite woman! If you mess with her, you're finished!"
"Oh about that, I have no intention of messing with her. I just want to help her, that's all," Ronald replied then he went to Selene's cell to take her to the medical room.
Luckily, within three days, Selene's hand had finally improved and was no longer irritated.
"Thanks to your help, my hand recovered faster," she said as she looked at her hand.
"I just did what I could. If you need any more help, you can tell me!" Ronald said excitedly.
"Sure."
The two of them sat under the tree in the field during lunch break. Some of the prisoners had already started making rumors about the two of them being in a relationship with each other.
Some of them mocked that Selene had tried to get close to Caelum but failed and now she was getting close to the guard, Ronald.
"She only failed to get close to Chief Rothwell. That's why she's approaching that one. He looks weak anyway, so he's easy to win over," said Stella, the leader of the female prisoners who had fought with Selene a few weeks ago.
"I bet she's already the warden's whore!"
They laughed at them, when Selene and Ronald were away from them.
But unlike the warders, they were worried about Ronald who seemed to be interested in Selene. Moreover, the news about Selene's closeness to Caelum was being circulated around the prison guards.
"Is he digging his own grave? For example, does he already know that that one prisoner only belongs to Chief Rothwell?"
"I don't understand why he's so brave as to stay close to her," another warden replied.
They were worried that Caelum would be disturbed by Ronald being around Selene.
And their worries were right. When break time ended, Selene, as usual, walked in last before everyone else.
As she passed through the hallway to Block E, someone suddenly pulled her into a room. The room in the hallway.

'Caelum, this voice is his. But why would he pull me into this room just to talk?' she thought to herself.
However, Selene tried to remain calm and teased him as usual.
"What's wrong with me being close to another man? It's none of your business anyway, is it?" she asked back as she folded her arms under her chest.
Caelum walked forward, approaching her until his own face finally came into view in the sunlight coming through the vents.
"Oh could it be that you feel jealous seeing me with Ronald?"
"Jealous? Me?" he asked in a flat, expressionless voice.
A sly smile appeared on Selene's face. "Admit it, you feel jealous. Are you starting to fall in love with me now?"
"Keep dreaming." That was the line Caelum always said to Selene whenever she tried to tease him.
However, it was met with laughter from her, as if it was a very funny response.
"You always say things like that. Keep dreaming, but what if in my dreams you are very jealous that Ronald is not around."
"I don't waste my time on unreal feelings like that," he replied.
But, of course, Selena didn't believe him and she thought that Caelum must have fallen into her trap. Actually, she had done it on purpose to see his reaction.
When they had just kissed four days ago. Then they acted like nothing had happened between them. Selene deliberately brought herself closer to Ronald.
She had read that if someone kissed, they usually had an emotional bond with each other afterwards. And her closeness to Ronald could draw a reaction from Caelum.
As he said earlier, 'Why are you approaching another man, when we just kissed a few days ago.' The jealousy arises from the emotional bonding that occurs.
'Well, even though my closeness with Ronald isn't just to get a reaction from Caelum. I want to be friends with someone who is willing to help me,' she thought.

Seeing Caelum's reaction, Selene couldn't help but want to make him feel more jealous. Wanting to make the Chief Warden completely honest with his feelings, even if she had to do something big.
"If you don't have time to feel jealous, then let it go. What does it matter if I have a relationship with Ronald? Maybe next time, he'll take me to that abandoned warehouse and make love like the other prisoners," Selene said with a smile.

The questions had unknowingly ignited another fire within Caelum. This was a different fire to the one before. This fire was far more dangerous and terrifying than the one he had a few days ago.
"Don't you dare..." he muttered with his voice dropping an octave.

Before Selene could finish her sentence, Caelum suddenly grabbed her neck firmly with one of his right hands.

She gasped in shock, not expecting him to grab her neck. However, before she could react Caelum pulled her into his kiss again.
And this kiss was a stern warning to her.
