Behind the perfect smile and designer suits lies something colder. Cassian doesn’t want to run the park, no, he wants to own it, bend it, shape it into something that reflects him,— his desires, his darkness. 

When his adoptive father refuses him the one thing he wants most,— a dinosaur of his own,— Cassian turns to the black market and finds something else.

Raised in secret, and so, trained by him.

He sees himself in them, and they, in him.

But it isn’t just the animals Cassian obsesses over. 

It’s her,— Claire Dearing. 

Composed, rational, unreachable.

Everything he can’t control, everything he wants. And as the island hums toward catastrophe, his obsession festers into something more dangerous than any predator in the park.

And when the cages begin to open,— both steel and psychological,— the question isn’t whether Isla Nublar will fall.

It’s whether Cassian will fall with it...
or rise from the ruins as its king.
